Description of Work: electric subpanel and two circuits Had Hereon out to my house about 6 months ago to perform work on 2 electric circuits and a sub panel. The subpanel was originally recessed. Hereon replaced subpanel without recessing it and when I asked him, 3 times that day, to recess it, he told me it wasn't necessary and that it would cost more money to do it. Additionally, he told me that recessing the panel was more work than he had quoted for. Again, panel WAS originally recessed and I specifically communicated that it needed to be replaced (in original recessed placement)....there should not have been an issue. He instead replaced the subpanel with an above surface panel. I ended up letting him go home because he continued to complain about fixing it to its original recessed state. Ended up calling him back up and paying him an additional $175 to come back and recess the panel. The original panel was recessed and it needed replaced with a recessed panel. He should have not charged me at all. He NEVER communicated that he would take a recessed subpanel and replace it with a surface subpanel. It should have been recessed on replacement. Additionally, he fixed a circuit to my water pump landscape feature but, while doing so, took away another circuit. I complained, this time twice....he told me he'd fix it some other day....never came back. Got his assistant to fix it at this recent visit. He is a very expensive electrician. I felt very taken advantage of re: original work and corrected work. I won't use him again. My impression and opinion of him is that he quotes for lots of work then cuts corners and tries to get away with cutting these corners.

Description of Work: I am new to Angie's List and this was my first time to use it. About one-third of the electricity was out in my condo. Comfort Electric came promply the next day and were able to troubleshoot the problem within minutes ( three couplets of circuit breakers were worn out). The electrician was very personable and competent and fixed the problem in less than an hour. I was very happy with the work and Comfort Electric. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Description of Work: Comfort Electric installed a motor in an under-the-floor furnace. Cost was 585.00$. They immediately sent an electrician first because I thought it was an electrical problem. The heating guy diagnosed the problem the next day and ordered the motor which he installed even though I could not be there. I found them prompt and professional with a customer service bent. I highly recommend Comfort Electric.

Description of Work: Heron located the reason why I'd lost power in one-half of my condo, fixed it, upgraded some of my electrical outlets and gave me detailed estimates of future projects. He gave me a 15 minute heads-up call so I could drive home from work and he arrived exactly the same time I did. I especially appreciated his explanations of what went wrong and what is still needed jto be done to my 38 year old condo.
