The technician, Todd K. arrived during the service window. I informed him of the work I needed done. I purchased the HEPD80 device from Home Depot and just needed it installed. Unfortunately the dispatcher informed him only about troubleshooting/install of an outlet. I showed him a YouTube video of the device, specs and example installations. He determined it needed two 20A breakers, which fortunately my main breaker unit had room for. The breaker box had punchouts at the bottom and the available space for new breakers were at the very top. I bought the HEPD80 because it was weather resistant and therefore would need to be installed to the bottom of the breaker box. However the wiring of the HEPD80 was not long enough to reach to top breakers. The breakers belonging to my A/C unit was the most recent add by another company, which occupied the space nearest the HEPD80. Todd installed two new 20A breakers to the top most and available space. Rewired the circuit from the A/C to the new breakers and wired the HEPD80 to the former breakers that the A/C was previously tied too. This solved the issue with the length of wiring that came with the HEPD80. After Todd finished the install of the HEPD80, he found out there is a fit issue with the inside cover of breaker box which covers the bare breakers and which one would label each breaker. It would not close as the portion of the HEPD80 that enters the break box prevented closure of the cover. He was able to cut out a small square notch and that did the trick. Now I have whole house surge protection and didn't have to worry about getting a new breaker box for my old house. I am a DIY'er but when it comes to these installs I am more comfortable having a professional do safely and right. The "dead outlet" was a simple troubleshoot problem that I am a little embarrassed to have called for professional help. I had assumed all the adjoining outlets were wired correctly when my father-in-law and I replaced all the old receptacles with the tamper resistant outlets. Todd was able to determine that a wire pair was not wired to the preceding outlet that fed the "dead outlet." Todd was very courteous and had a good demeanor. He gave me great tips and didn't talk down to me. He performed quality work and I recommend Comfort Electric and Todd K.

I called to book someone to come out and estimate all of the work I wanted. The woman was terse and not helpful and said I needed to call someone else to get an estimate. She said that they don't usually come out and give estimates. They come out for the work. If I called this other number, the guy would talk me through the estimate. Despite how unprofessional and not helpful she was, I called the number and left a message. He never called back. I gave all of the work to another electrician.

Heron and Derrick inspected the whole house, attic to sub-house, Heron wrote up a detailed proposal, then both worked diligently to complete the agreed-upon tasks, all this in the pouring rain! They were very professional - they cleaned up, put things back the way they were, and didn't complain (at least to us) about the rain. They also switched some LED lights that were flickering and told us if the flickering returned it was probably caused by the trim. The flickering did return, so we still have to get that fixed.

We settled on a window of between 2 and 5. No one had shown up by 5 and I called them to inquire about where he was. I got a response of "Oh well, I guess he's late. He'll be there eventually." I finally got a call from the technician later stating he was an hour away. He blamed it on the rain, but it did not rain yesterday. I was on the phone cancelling with the company, and someone knocked on the door. He wasn't even looking my direction and never identified himself, other than as being an electrician. All I needed done was a little plug replaced, and he came in and started adding extra costs to the project. I said no, and he left. I think their advertising was fraudulent and he's not getting a good grade from me.

They showed up on time. Provided a full walk through estimate and once we approved the services did the installation in about 6 hours. Great job.

Eron gave a call about 30 minutes prior to arrival (within quoted window). Pleasant to deal with, explained how work was going to be performed, then went to work. Work completed in a reasonable time.

-Had to call comfort electric twice before they took the time to return my call. After waiting a week and a half from when I originally called they finally decided to return my call then they wanted me to wait another week for their service. I called Angieslist and requested a refund, telling comfort electric I was not interested in waiting any-longer for their services

He cleared the lint from places a non technician never gets to. He discovered what was wrong. The last month I'd had to dry 2 or 2 1/2 times to get a load dry. He said the coils were done. He replaced the coils. He also found a bit that goes into the dryer that keeps the door properly shut. That had been faulty since we've owned it the last 1 1/2 years. He said the dryer is about a dozen years old and workin' fine. He replaced the door piece. It works great now. Getting the door fixed was a bonus that he said he did not charge us for. Being able to fix the machine rather than going out to buy another one for 10 x the amount of the repair cost was good for everyone including the earth to not dump another appliance in a trash heap sooner than need be. An excellent experience all around. I thanked him for coming out on Christmas Eve. I also found the company to be prompt in communicating with me to arrange this appointment.

They did everything in a timely fashion. They even came back several weeks after when one of the circuits was cut because our cabinet installer hit a line with a screw. Herrin and his team worked late into the night a few nights to get the project done. They where all very easy to get along with and very friendly. Every time I needed something explained he laid everything out perfectly. he was very easy to get a hold of and contact me back shortly after I called him.

Extremely well. We were very impressed with the service and professionalism. The procedure obviously took a long time, but we felt very comfortable with the firm's representatives. They were particularly careful and made sure everything was working properly and then they cleared up before they left. Everything works well and we will definitely turn to this company if we require any electrical work in the future.

He showed up when he said he would. However, he did not do any work.

Gave me outrageous cost. Couldn't do work on the spot. Hired new electrician and he handled it immediately. Basically charged $99 me for nothing. Kept saying he would come back to replace entire circuit breaker. Left me with a dangerous situation

I used an Angie's List deal that was originally for a service call plus $99 towards labor/materials for a total value of $249. However on the day Bo came out they had a new deal at $79 for $249 credit towards labor/materials. I asked Bo if he would honor the new deal and after a few calls to the office he said they would. I had the materials already bought so he just provided the labor for some simple jobs. However, he said they charge by the job - not by the hour. So to change a dimmer switch cost $59 out of the $249 credit. When I asked why it cost so much for a simple five minute job he only said because they might run into other electrical problems. The other items were equally high priced and quickly used up the credit. So beware they charge assuming they will run into other problems even for simple basic jobs - even if they don't have any problems. He was ontime and courteous. By the way, be sure to check the work done. I didn't check the light timer until later and discovered it didn't work.

Aaron and Derick were both very good - both technically and professionally. They were very patient and gave good explanations of the work they performed. I am very pleased.

Available earlier which worked for me provided information regarding safety updates & upgraded.

Todd gave a courtesy call to remind me of our appointment and showed up as promised. Assessed the work and started right away. He traced the wire & power source and installed the work as well as cleaned up afterward. The job is great.

Todd arrived on time, was able to quickly assess the situation and came up with a workable solution that cost no more than the price of the coupon. Todd also provided a safety assessment of my electrical panel, removed a shattered lightbulb from an outdoor motion sensor light and made recommendations.

Installer was punctual and professional. Work was timely and up to standards.

The electrician was efficient and a nice guy. en Would like to note that the deal was for $299 worth of electrical work, but once here, an estimate was drawn up and given - and that $299 was then taken off, meaning there was an additional $385 due. While this is not out of line on price, I've used a Groupon before where it was "$149 for 2 hours" . I think I would prefer the statement of 2 hours (or whatever) time, as electrical work I've had done over the years has me pre-buying most supplies/fixtures/bulbs before hand, to speed things up. But, I did get advice on what I wanted done this time but got the wrong supplies - which would have cost a few hundred dollars more labor that night, and some advice on wiring for a future project contemplated.
