sure and Save did the work in less time they planned for, they were very clean, respectful, and knowledgeable, this is my very first house so they educated me to some extent about the matter, they fix and secure the 6 piers, they installed 9 piers even though they have initially only quoted me for 8. (no extra charge) it is rare to work with people that i have not know before and get this sense of thrust and sureness. the owner of the company came out and supervise that the job was done to standard and quality he demand. they plan the logistic of parking and asked permission to my neighbor so the truck can park (the house is on a hill) very happy and grateful y got to work with sure & safe. I will recommend them hands down.

I now have a sense of security and peace of mind that my old home is more solid on its foundation. Art and his crew provided photos, and were helpful in explaining how the Sure Safe foundation system works. The team was professional and timely as they completed the work, which includes getting the permit in order with the city. Thanks to all!

aWe were not looking to do such an extensive job, and the initial work was more extensive than we had planned, and the estimate and subsequent work was more than we were looking to do. We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff, and their hard work on such a hot day, but were hoping to get a more minimal job performed, so it did not work for us for now.

Well my personal feeling was I was paying to have a sales pitch. It was true that it was an inspection. It was a set up to make a bid to make a proposal. I felt like I was a little bit tricked. They make you feel as if you are unsafe and I came to find out that the foundation is actually safe by another vendor in the same field. Update 10/27/15: The owner called me because he was concerned about the bad review. He was polite and professional. I made some suggestions about making the process more transparent to the customer. He sent me a refund check for the $50. If your foundation needs extensive help, this companies technique is pretty ingenious. But it is very extensive and pretty expensive. I would definitely get a second opinion from another well rated foundation company before signing any contracts.

Sure Safe responded to my email the very next day. I received a phone call. Unfortunately circumstances arose that pulled me away from this endeavor. Every phone call was pleasant and professional. I did manage to finally sit myself down to apologize and let them know I would have to post pone. I definitely do plan to use them when I am able to. Pat Arcia

We were extremely happy with the service that was provided by Sure Safe. Another company (not an Angie's list company) had made an evaluation of our foundation and estimated the repairs to be $9,000. We asked two Angie's list companies to do the same evaluation. Sure Safe's evaluation indicated that no repairs were needed and our foundation is solid. We also had Russ from RAD out and he concurred that the foundation was in good shape. We were not charged for the evaluation! We would have been happy to pay Art and his son for their time but they insisted it was a free evaluation. We are happy to hear that our foundation is in good shape and were 100% happy with the service Sure Safe provided.

In a word: Awesome! Art Angelo and Denise Jackson gave an excellent presentation on the simple logic and affordability of the Sure Safe Engineered Foundation System. This was a 'no mess' seamless two-day process with no disruption to our home life. The life-time, 100% transferrable warrantee gives us total confidence and peace of mind that we are firmly planted. The city building inspector looked at the work and their plans a week later and signed off in a few minutes stating that "Oh, these systems are great! There is never a problem." We can highly recommend this company for their excellent customer service, professionalism, and for this outstanding product - a foundation with a warrantee that is 100% transferrable upon sale and re-sale of the house.

Art Angelo, owner, was honest and fair. Installers Mel and Sean were hard-working and professional. It amazes me that the entire project was done in a single day. My 1927 home's floors feel more solid now. I had never heard of this system (Mr. Angelo's invention, I believe) and was a bit hesitant over it and the price. But, I have no regrets and am very happy with out-come.

I couldn't ask for a better service. We saved appx. $14,000 over the standard foundation repairs, with a new system that uses galvanized steel piers which were attached next to the old piers. The new pier bottoms are then put in bags in which cement is pumped, which secures all piers to the ground, making our foundation stable and earthquake-proof. A great company, with great people!

I filled out a contact form on the SureSafe website. Business owner Art Angelo contacted me to discuss our problems. He sent out Mel to look at our situation and tell us about the process. He took photos and measurements and we had our estimate shortly thereafter. The process took two days to complete due to snowy weather in Pine Cove. They came out on Wednesday and installed all the supports and readied the bags to receive concrete. Then, on Friday, they returned to pump concrete. The crew was directed by Mickie and included Mel and Rob who operated the concrete pumper. All of them were outstanding to work with and Rob in particular was a life saver. He arrived to find considerable snow and some ice on the road leading to my cabin. He was concerned with the Concrete Truck operating on the ice and contacted someone to plow the road. By the time the Concrete Truck arrived the road was completely free of ice. Immediately after the job was completed our front door was once again aligned and could be shut and locked! The floor is so much more solid and we feel we were very fortunate to find SureSafe, Art Angelo, Mickie, Mel and Rob. I could not more highly recommend them.

The technician that came out to inspect and take photos of the foundation of our mobile home was professional, courteous and very thorough. He also brought to my attention about some additional issues occurring in the back of my mobile home where water could be getting underneath the house and making the soil wet. I had a very positive experience with Sure Safe for the inspection and I would highly recommend this company for excellent service.

I have an 1100 sq ft craftsman home built in 1917. A 30 ft section of the stem wall along the south side of the building was failing. A crack was previously repaired by the previous owner with an epoxy and after 9 years the crack was getting larger and 2 other small ones appeared. I got several quotes as almost every company I spoke with had a different solution to the problem. I was getting quotes for repairing the south wall only as well as installing a whole new pier system. The home had several low spots and the entire home was being supported by only 2 girders. As my future plans include a kitchen remodel I wanted to install a stronger more secure foundation system. Since every quote had different solutions for my issues it?s hard to compare price since they are not apple to apple comparisons. However with that being said my quotes ranged from 4-10k for repairs to the south wall only and as high as 40k for a complete new stem wall and pier system. I researched for a couple weeks before deciding to go with the Sure Safe foundation system. The price of $16,300 included 5 new treated wood girders spanning the width of the house, 25 steel buttress columns with 9 sq ft concrete footing installed every 7 ft, all permits, and a transferrable lifetime warranty. This system eliminated the need to replace the stem walls as this new system would secure and support the home and I felt it addressed most of my concerns for a great price. My only reservation was that this Sure Safe system is fairly new and was initially designed for modular homes. However after doing some research and having several conversations with the owner of Sure Safe, Art, and a couple friends of mine in the construction business I was confident this system would meet my needs. On a side note I could never qualify for home owners insurance through AAA because of my foundation. After installing the new system I called AAA to have them inspect my new foundation and after conferring with their underwriting department I was finally approved to get my home insured through them. The 2 things I was not entirely happy with are as follows and were the reason for my B grade under professionalism. They needed to use a vent on the side of the house in order to pass tools and equipment under the house. The wood framed vent was badly damaged and they did not make an attempt to repair it. My other concern was in regards to a plumbing leak that was caused when one of the guys bumped into a pipe. They did make every effort to address the issue immediately and make the repair however about 6 weeks later when we remodeled my bathroom I discovered that this pipe had been leaking steadily for quite some time and the attempted repair of the pipe was a rather lame attempt. The water leakage caused my bathroom re-model to be delayed almost 2 full days and set me back about $600. In regards to his crew bumping into a pipe please be aware that the crawlspace under my home is very tight and in some areas less than a foot in height. So the bump was not the issue it was the bad repair job that frustrated me. Overall I gave the company and A grade and would recommend them to anyone with a pier and post system in need of repair. Art was the owner and main contact, he was readily available and easy to speak with. The 4 guys that performed the work were all great. The entire job took three days to complete. The guys went above and beyond and performed other duties outside the realm of the project. For example it seems the previous owner had the cast iron plumbing system replaced but left everything under the house. The guys pulled everything out for me at my request. Though the initial job description did not include jacking up the home and leveling the floor they did help me by jacking up 2 sections that were a concern to me. They showed up every day between 8:30-9am and left about 5pm. The crew was friendly and easy to chat with. They updated me on a regular basis as the work progressed.

SORRY FOR CAPS BUT I HAVE TO SCREAM THE PRAISES OF THIS SYSTEM AND THIS COMPANY! Their crew showed up and went right to work pulling skirting off, and setting up for the installation of the system. I was right there with my nose in the middle of the whole process and they never complained. They showed me each part of the system as they unloaded, explained in detail how it went together, exactly where they were going to marry my to halves of my 24'x57' coach together, showed me the black bag type material they wrapped each new much better and bigger support in and with spiders and all they set approx. 32 pillars under my coach. They then had a cement truck come in and filled each huge bag with cement and tied them off. As the cement dried it also seeped thru the bag somewhat and adhered to the dirt. They started on Friday morning and thru all of the heat worked almost nonstop all day and were finished by the end of the day. We live in a park that was built on a land fill and since 2009 I have sat and watched each of my neighbors couches shift and settle as the earth settles and mine is still as solid as the day they put my system in. The owner of the park would be a very wise and prudent person if he had at least the mini system put under each coach. Yes we were told that we were buying on an old landfill and we could expect a bit of settling but I have a neighbor behind me that has what is basically a duck pond were for the past 4 years the ground has given away under his cement and parts of his coach skirting no longer even touches the ground. Some of the coaches in the park even have a split down their ceiling were it has settled unevenly and split the coach. NOW THE AMAZING PART, THE SUNDAY AFTER HAVING THIS SYSTEM WAS PUT IN WE HAD AN EARTHQUAKE THAT MEASURED APPROXIMATELY 8. SOMETHING, AND OUR COUCH JUST BARELY WENT BUMP AS IT SLIGHTLY LIFTED AND DROPPED BACK DOWN, NOTHING FELL NO PICTURES, NONE OF MY MANY NIC NAKS AND EVERYONE LAUGHED AT ME WHEN I FREAKED SAYING OH GOD OH GOD. THEY ASKED WHY I WAS UPSET WHEN MY HOUSE WAS PERFECTLY FINE AND I EXPLAINED THAT JUST TWO DAYS BEFORE 75% OF MY SUPPORTS WERE EITHER BROKE OR NOT TOUCHING AND THAT WE AND OUR WHOLE COACH COULD BE SITTING ON THE GROUND. I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THE SUPPORT OF MY SURE SAFE SYSTEM. I RECOMMEND THIS SYSTEM TO EVERYONE THAT WANTS THE SECURITY OF A SAFE STABLE HOME, ESPECIALLY IF THEY OWN A MOBILE HOME IN OUR PARK AND HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED A SECOND COACH TO FLIP AND AM GOING TO HAVE THE BASIC SYSTEM PUT IN FOR MY FUTURE BUYERS. The only complaint I have is that if we ever leave here I will never feel quite as secure as I do in this coach with this system. The company is awesome, honest and reliable and I can call anytime with questions and know that just because they already have my money they are not going to blow me off or ignore me like many companies do. The owner has even called periodically to check and make sure we are still satisfied with our system.

I RECEIVED THE ESTIMATE ON TUESDAY SIGNED A CONTRACT ON WEDNESDAY AND THE ENTIRE SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED ON FRIDAY. THE GENTLEMEN ARRIVED ON TIME EXPLAINED THE PROCESS. EVERYTHING WAS FINISHED BY 1 PM THE SAME DAY THIS INCLUDED THE CLEAN UP THE SAME DAY. THE INSPECTION WAS PASSED ON MONDAY MORNING. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT. I HAVE TOLD OTHERS ABOUT SURE SAFE AND HOPE OTHERS WILL ALSO GIVE THEM A TRY.
