All is perfect. He picked the perfect material for our master bedroom. He suggestions were right on point. Allen was truly a delight to work with.

The installer was prompt, quick and did a very nice job. He was on time and completed the work as promised. We are very delighted with the work done and the final product. We highly recommend them and will use then again when the time arises

We met with Alan, the owner, for a bid at our house one night in our hectic house with three small children. Alan was practical, professional, and provided honest opinions without up selling us. He listened to our ideas, offered his recommendation based on our needs, and we now have beautiful blinds in our home. We would highly recommend Scotblinds to our friends and neighbors and will definitely use them for future projects. The whole process was easy and professional.

I've always believed that Scottish people are some of the nicest on Earth and Alan completely proved my theory correct. He was right on time for our consultation and we immediately hit it off. He had excellent recommendations for our master bedroom where we wanted black out blinds and light filtering blinds for our kitchen window. He was very upfront about the little bit of light that would come through on the sides so we didn't have any surprises. He also didn't try to up-sell more expensive blinds and provided us with a high quality product for a great value. The technicians were outstanding. They were very great to work with and even did some negotiating with vendors to get custom items for us. They were very helpful in the planning and the pricing was appropriate. The installers were prompt and got done quickly. Also the customer service has been great. This job was done in 3 stages because I couldn't make all the necessary choices all at once. They extended the timeline of our job to accomodate my needs. They showed great flexibility. We are very happy with the results and the value of the product. The results are outstanding and would work with them again in a heartbeat.

Both Lilian and Alan measured the windows and provided options for window coverings for our new home. When they arrived they had the correct samples needed for me. They were helpful in providing tips and suggestions on fabric, style and price. I did not feel overwhelmed with styles and choices. They were able to understand what I was looking for. In exactly three weeks our window coverings were installed. The gentleman who installed was professional, careful, and exact. I am pleased with the window coverings that we ordered, how they look, and the installation. I recommend ScotBlinds. They are helpful, communicate timelines and process, and prices are reasonable.

I liked the personal service I got from Scotblinds Inc. I thought their prices were pretty competitive. Their turn around time was pretty quick. They were acceptable with meeting locations. They are just very friendly people. They come out to the house and they truly consult with you. They don't just throw you a brochure and tell you to find somebody you like. They make recommendations, based on the impressions they have of your house. They're not a big box store like Home Depot.

The window treatments arrived on the date promised and I received a scheduling phone call from the installer and just a few days later my husband and I were enjoying the finishing touch to our bedroom. The treatments exceeded our expectations as well as the phenomenal service by Allan and Lilian. They pride themselves on customer service and making you happy and they did! Thank you!

Alan came to my house with samples and lots of helpful information. Alan was punctual and very polite. The installer was very experienced and a delight to talk to. They cost a little bit more, but I feel that their excellent customer service is worth it! I would gladly call on them again for my future window treatment needs!

I called Scotblinds and spoke with Alan. He came to my home and gave me an estimate to have vinyl plantation shutters installed in my home. He explained how the shutters were made and how they would be installed. Scotblinds prices were slightly higher than the competition, but all the products are made in the US and they don't carry the cheaper composite blinds. After we decided to go with Scotblinds I called Alan back. My only complaint was that it would sometimes take 24 hours or more to hear back after leaving a message on the office machine. It was difficult to call and speak to a person even during business hours, although Scotblinds is a mom and pop business so I can understand when they both might be busy. Another person came out to do a more detailed measurement of the windows and doors. And told us everything would be ready to install in about 4 weeks. Sure enough, I got a call 4 weeks later saying they were ready to install. I left a key under the mat and the installers came while I was at work. When I got home, everything looked great, but I noticed some marks on my living room carpet. I called the installer an he came over the next day to take a look andbrought some carpet cleaner. It turns out the marks were from something on the bottom of my couch (not the installers fault at all) but he still stayed and helped scrub the carpet clean. I was very impressed!

I worked with Alan on the estimate and Jerry on the install. I found everyone associated with Scotblinds to be very professional, courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. Estimate: I had numerous companies do estimates on installing blinds (we ultimately chose 2" faux wood blinds). We had a lot of windows! I felt Alan was very competent -- in fact, he was fast and seemed to have much more expertise in the measuring than other companies. He gave me a fair price though I had other estimates come in lower. I was upfront with him and he fairly negotiated with me to bring our estimate closer in line with the other companies. I felt he was honest and I believed the points of differentiation he mentioned for Scotblinds over his competitors. Install: Jerry was our installer. The blinds arrived earlier than the original estimate which was great because it was the middle of a hot summer so I was happy to get the blinds in quickly (despite how busy they were because of the heat). Jerry was fast and did a great job. He was conscientious of keeping the carpeting and floors clean and cleaning up after himself. There was a ton of packaging from the new blinds and he took all the packaging with him, leaving nothing at our house to dispose of. Overall, they did a great job and I was very happy with my experience with this team! I'd use them again!

Alan from Scot Blinds came to our condo with numerous samples to choose from for vertical blinds and gave us a recommendation on what he thought would like nice based on a previous sale of the same product. We couldn't be more pleased with the fit, quality and service provided by Scot Blinds and the choice of the blinds. Both Alan, and Jerry the installer were very punctual and nice to deal with.

We had an extra challenge, because we have two lovable but rambunctious dogs that had destroyed our existing vertical blinds. Lilian and Alan worked with us over an hour, brainstorming the best type, design and color. We never felt rushed to make a decision and they provided numerous choices to select from. Two months later.......the new blinds definitely work and the dogs have learned not to touch them. I definitely recommend Scotblinds Inc. and their expertise.

Excellent experience, Alan (owner) was professional in all regards from start to finish. Blinds were ready and installed on time with our request for a saturday installation.

When we moved into our new home in 2010, my wife wanted plantation shutters for all our living/dining room windows. We had four or five companies over for estimates, and ended up choosing Scot Blinds. I don't think they were the lowest quote (though they were close), but Alan really impressed us with his professionalism and friendliness. We chose them, and were very glad that we did. Bob, his measurer/installer, was also fantastic to work with. Our windows had some oddly shaped trim, but he was able to expertly work around it, and the installation was seamless. We liked them so much, that when we decided a few weeks ago to get blinds for the rest of the house, we didn't even bother to talk to anyone else. They're not yet installed, but we were so happy the first time that we don't expect any problems.

Overall it was a good experience from beginning to end.

They work perfect and were hung perfectly. Allen came over and went over many different options for us. We are very happy with the work and all the planning that we did with him. The price was also good. i would definitely recommend them to anyone.

It went perfectly. Alan was super to deal with. He even went to my wife's office to show her samples as we were quite busy at that time. He was helpful and my wife... who is VERY choosey found exactly what she wanted because Alan actually LISTENED to what she wanted.The product was finised in less time than expected, looked and fit PERFECTLY. Alan's installer of 10 years, Jerry was superb and polite. I could not have been more satisfied. Absolutly PERECT... aside from Alan's Scotch accent 8-) A++++++ I will reccomend him to anyone that needs really professional work at reasonable prices.

I am very, very particular about the products I have in my house and how I want work to be performed. Every aspect of this experience was excellent. This is a small, family-run business, so you will receive personalized service from the owner. However, it is not "small" in terms of the variety of products and services offered. You will have as much choice as using the big companies, but you will have an actual person to contact who knows the job if you have any questions or concerns (the owner). I received an excellent product and excellent service at a fair price. I recommend this company without any reservation.

I got them off Angie’s List. They were super fantastic. They were nice people. We had problems, it did not fit and they did not make them the way we wanted. We had three separate problems and they made everything good. They made sure that the company that was manufacturing them sent them back to us. The second time they sent us, we got the curtains and put them up but it was too short. It was too thin the first time, the second time they fixed the shortness but it was too narrow. However, they did the third time and they kept making them, remaking curtains for us until they got it right. For big manufacturers, little job like ours, two little curtains, matching stuff for a cabinet, was not what they did, they did whole houses. I got why our curtains were not done perfectly the first time. However, the blind people totally did their job. They made sure that we were satisfied. We visited the store and they were fine for price because we actually went to an onsite store, which was here. When you had to deal with somebody, then there was a mistake and you had to deal with them again, that was the main thing. They were pleasant to deal with, no matter what. They were extremely pleasant. Their price was fine. Their quality was excellent. I would surely use them in the future if I have to.

Met with 3 different company reps and decided on Scot Blinds without hesitation. Both Alan and Lilian arrived for the free consultation and were most pleasant and efficient. They spent plenty of time making sure all our questions were answered. Our blinds came in on time and were installed by Jerry who was very quick and accommodating. He was totally agreeable to readjusting the verticals after I decided they weren't hanging quite where I wanted. All in all, I was most satisfied.

Called Scot Blinds based on the reviews from Angie's List. Alan Reoch promptly returned my call and arranged for a appropriate time to meet. He was punctual, knowledgeable and his recommendations always appeared to be in my best interest. He efficiently produced a highly competitive quote while at my residence. I made him aware of the urgency of installation based on me having guests in 2 /2 weeks. He called the next day as promised to inform the job could be completed in my time frame, even providing me with a firm install date. His installer called to confirm the install date and was professional in his approach towards the install. Alan called after the install to ensure I was happy with everything. One of the sun shades did not work out how I thought.... yip! I should have listened to Alan. Anyway Alan found a inexpensive way to modify the blind. Even the service on this blind was faultless. So yes! we are always quick to b**** and moan, but seldom take time to compliment a Company that delivers fully what is promised. And I can honestly say Scot Blinds is such a Company. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them without question.
