Description of Work: I called this company to schedule an assessment and repair for my electric oven. I received a return call within 10 minutes. They were able to assess my problem over the phone and that saved a visit. The replacement part was ordered right away and we scheduled an appointment for repair in 2 days. The service was professional and accurate. I also really appreciated the prompt response.

Description of Work: They replaced a part to our washing machine. He had visited with me on the phone to make sure it was something that could be dealt with before he came out. He was prompt, very curteous and got the job done in an hour.

Description of Work: Chris from P.A. Came out to fix my dishwasher then as he took it apart he noticed that the dream was broke and also the main pump for the machine was broken it was leaking on the floor in probably three months the machine he is a kitchen and I have had it for only two years he said that it should be under warranty and then I should call the manufacturer regarding the dishwasher. Oh so the fan at the top of the dishwasher that dispenses water was broken off and that was attached to the tubes it goes down to get the water so the whole assembly had to be replaced I called the factory for help with this dishwasher. They said it was only guaranteed for one year and I should have bought their extended warranty which I did not because I had paid $1500 for this dishwasher and expected it to last for quite a while. finally I was able to speak with a manager who after some discussion said that as a good faith gesture they would pay for the parts but I would have to use one of their qualified repair co. I called Chris to explain this to him. He had already ordered the large pump but told me not to worry about it as he could use it at another time. Chris had me have the other repairman remove his drain pump for him to come and get. Chris did come back for his pump and charged me only $50.00 for his time. He was definitely the most fair and kind person that I have had as a plumber in a very long time. Would I have him come for other plumbing needs? Absolutely!

Description of Work: I have a GE Range that had a problem that the electrical oven was not working. Chris called me back in a timely manner and asked me a few questions about the problem. He determined over the phone that one side of the electrical supply was not working. I checked the electrical braker and found that one side was tripped. I thanked him profusely and was able to restore power.

Description of Work: There were problems recently with the temperature staying as programmed both in the refrigerator and the freezer drawer. Christ promptly returned my call and stopped by the same afternoon as promised. The refrigerator had started to work normally again by the time he arrived. He checked everything out, seals, etc., explained the workings of my digital refrigerator and replaced the bulb in the freezer drawer. Based on Chris' suggestion I turned off the electricity at the circuit breaker to reset the digital computer. The refrigerator has worked normally since. Chris wanted to only charge $20 but I paid $40 as I had requested a service call.

He had the part needed to make the repair without having to order the part. Once the fan was replaced, the predicted additional work was not needed, which was a pleasant surprise. I have already recommended his company.

I contacted Chris Martz at PB Appliance, as I had referred him to my Mom previously, with excellent results. He gave me a convenient and prompt appointment, arrived early (after phoning ahead) and diagnosed the problem promptly. He installed the new sensor and made sure the washer would work without any further difficulty. |I'm very pleased with this gentleman's work and felt the price was fair.

Description of Work: Chris fixed our dryer. It was making a banging noise. While he was here, he also showed us how to effectively clean the vent that was clogged with lint. We had also called for a repair on our washing machine which was super loud on spin mode. He knew exactly what the problem was without even looking at it, and explained that it would cost more to fix it then to just use it until it breaks and replace it.

Description of Work: Had a small lint fire in my dryer. He popped off the front panel, found the lint build-up, cleaned out the innards of the dryer, cleaned out the vent passage and was on his way. Way easy.
