Chris went the extra mile. Although he was already closed for the day, he heard my voice mail message and called me anyway. He tried to give me all the reasons why I was having my problem and instructed me where to look and what to look for. I sent over a photo, he looked at it and called back again with his comments. There was no paycheck this time, he did it to help someone he never met. I will call Chris when I need any appliance repaired. He's an honest, hard working guy. Thank you Chris.

Chris arrived at the end of his day on a Saturday afternoon exactly as promised and arranged. Very quickly and efficiently, he looked over the gas stove where several burners were not igniting when gas was turned on. Using a tool, Chris cleaned the gas jets and showed us how to do it ourselves with a paper clip in future. Next, Chris had the cover off the dryer and discovered a broken drive pulley which had cut the drive belt. He replaced the pulley with parts on hand; we had a gas stove and dryer both returned to service in less than an hour after his arrival.

EZ deal, no drama, diagnosed the problem, explained it to me, completed the repairs. He was in & out in less than 90 min, refrigerator freezer works great!

Called on a Thursday as my 14-year-old Frigidaire Gallery, side-by-side refrigerator was no longer churning out ice from the ice maker and the refrigerator was not keeping anything cold and freezer slowly defrosting. He asked me some specific questions as to other symptoms...frosting along the back on the freezer side, noise, etc. He thought it was most likely the thermostat and that it had probably failed a few weeks before already, which is why the ice maker was not making ice. The temps were getting too low on the freezer side and no longer providing any cold air for the fridge side. The fridge needed to be unplugged and totally defrosted before he could work on it. He suggested I turn off and defrost overnight and that he would come out the next day, rather than he defrosting fridge for 1-2 hours and having to charge me for that before ever working on any repairs. He also warned me that there would be about another 6" of frost behind the wall of the freezer that I could not see, but would have running out on my floors if I did not prepare with towels. He was so right. He also took the specific info about my fridge so that he would have the proper parts if needed. He was scheduled to arrive between 1PM and 3PM Friday. He called me at 11:15a.m. on Friday and said that if I was home he could be on his way right then. Appreciated that as I was now operating out of a cooler having to get ice every day. He arrived shortly after his call and went right to work. Yes, it was the thermostat and though I did not have to, he also suggested I replace the Defrost Control as a Maintenance issue at same time, due to the age of the fridge. He was done in less than 1/2 hour. Having experienced a bit of sticker shock looking at the prices of replacement refrigerators, the cost for his time and the part(s) was a bargain!

I called to schedule an appointment for Chris to look at my washer. He spent 10 minutes on the phone with me even though I may end up buying a new machine. He was thorough and he gave me a ton of useful information. If we decide to repair, I will definitely be calling him back.

Chris helped with diagnostics on the phone to confirm a service call was needed, was on time, figured out the problem quickly, ordered the part, right on schedule for installation, refrigerator back up and running in just a few days. And while it was down, his suggestion to use dry ice (including where to buy it at a fair price) in the freezer to cool everything, refrigerator side as well, saved the day, the refrigerator was cool enough until the parts came in. Highly recommend.

It is an older Maytag so I was impressed that he actually had the part on his truck thus was able to make the repair immediately. No return trip! He is definitely at the top of my list for appliance repairs!!!

This guy is great! He is very knowledgeable on all appliances and gave us great tips which saved us money. We needed him in an emergency situation on Easter Sunday when the electric water heater started leaking. We couldn't reach the plumber. The water heater is in a closet, which made the work more difficult. Later, we had a water pressure problem. We called our plumber, but he couldn't figure it out. Then we called Pacific Beach Appliance Repair. He came out timely and fixed the problem. We couldn't be more pleased with their work.1

I explained the problem over the phone. The washing machine did not agigtate or drain the water out. Chris told me exactly what he thought was wrong with it. We set up an appointment for later that day. Chris arrived on time, his diagnosis was correct, he had the right parts with him and he completed the job. Start to finsh it was excellent service.

Everything went well. The gentleman didn't have to do anything major like cutting tile, so the installation went very smoothly. Furthermore, he arrived on time and charged a reasonable price for the service.

Chris expertly opened the dryer panel, removed the faulty coils and replaced them.

Chris initially tried to help me fix the problems while we talked on the telephone. When that didn't work, he came over the same day that I called (on a Saturday PM) and spent a considerable amount of time taking apart and repairing a dysfunctional blower than was preventing the refrigerator from cooling. It had iced up. He is an honest, extremely hard worker who clearly is an expert fixing refrigerators. Very impressive guy.

Awesome, came diagnosed the problem, then came back when the part arrived from the manufacturer (part only was under warranty), removed the old, installed the new, tested everything and left. Perfect service, awesome guy, straight forward, no up-sells, no "marketing", it was a pleasure doing business with Chris.

I called Chris when my 10 year old dishwasher started making horrible noises. After asking several questions, Chris was able to pinpoint probable causes and give me an estimate for repair and recommend other options. After talking it over with my husband we decided to buy a new dishwasher. When I called Chris back to let him know, he was very helpful in narrowing down the best choices for a good, economical dishwasher. I was so impressed with his knowledge and professionalism! Chris didn't make a dime from my calls, but you can be sure I will call him for any future appliance repair work I need.

Basically the dryer would not heat up. We described the problem over the phone with Chris and he knew exactly what to do. Chris had just repaired a washing machine at out primary residence and did an excellent job so we called him again for this income property. 8918

When our washing machine would not drain we tried everything and finally went on Angie's list to find a repairman. Chris was able to diagnose the problem over the phone and within hours he was here to fix it. Based on this experience we will continue to call Chris when we have a problem with a large appliance.

He came out and told us what the problem was. He was totally on time. He let us know that it was actually a warranty issue. So it was nice that he didn’t try to fix something that was going to cost us anything.
