Description of Work: Arrived on time, fixed washing machine, did research on replacement parts for my ancient dishwasher and came up with cost-saving ideas for keeping it running longer. My only complaint is failure to do a complete clean-up before he left.

Description of Work: Provider was to replace an over the counter microwave door handle. After working on the door for some time, he wanted to take the door off and take it back to his shop. I Googled the process and learned that he was doing it wrong for this appliance, so I did not agree to removing the door. When he arrived the handle was cracked, but firm and completely functional. When he left, it was very loose and not functional. He did not know that there were clips to be flipped, rather than screws, so he continued doing things that he should not have. To his credit, he did not charge anything, but should have recognized that he was not familiar with this model and stopped pushing and prying on things sooner.

Description of Work: I reached out to Pacific Beach Appliance Repair through Angie's list and received an immediate reply from Chris. All five of my burner igniters had stopped working. Chris told me to check the breakers over the phone and that solved my problem. He could have easily accepted the job, charged me and flipped the switch himself. It is rare to find someone who is actually focused on the customer these days. If I ever have another issue, he will the guy I will call!

Description of Work: Installed new defrost heater thermostat and heater. Also defrosted refrig with heat gun.

Description of Work: Chris repaired our electric clothes dryer in about 45 minutes and replaced two parts. The dryer runs smoothly now and quieter than ever. He has a great sense of humor and went over the repairs with me, showing me the parts and explaining what had gone wrong. He showed up at our place less than an hour after I called him since he was in the neighborhood. A perfect experience for us!
