Quick and easy discussion over the phone with owner, team showed up on time on moving day. I believe 2 truck approach is great solution for family home moving. Price per labor hour was the same as other providers but in this case team consisted of 5 people, so everything went much faster. Moving team was well organized, did good job, everything went smooth. Started 8AM and whole house moved by 1PM.

Asa and Robert, the two MSJ representatives, arrived on time, loaded the truck in an efficient manner, and transported the goods to my condominium. They unloaded the truck in a speedy manner and moved all personal effects inside. Everything was conducted in a professional and courteous manner. Additionally, they assembled and staged furniture accurately and according to my instructions. I wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend Robert, Asa and MSJ to anyone.

Let me start by saying that my only complaint was that Saul underestimated the cost by over $1000. I probably didn't make clear to him the quantity of packing that was involved and the men worked overtime. That said the actual price was a surprise but not unreasonable. The moving experience was so much easier and more pleasant than i had dared hope. The crew leader Andre called me at 7:30 that morning exactly as promised. He met me at my former residence with his wonderful crew and another moving van as well. Each of the men introduced himself and they came in for a walk through. This move was a little complicated because i had been sharing the house with another family and only my things were being moved. it was further complicated by a storage unit. They were exceptionally polite and good natured. They loaded everything that I had pointed to without having to be reminded which things went and which stayed. in fact Chris remembered a bookcase from the kitchen that I had forgotten. Some of the pieces were antiques and a bit fragile and they were handed with the utmost care. They packed a large studio of art stuff. This including the heavy tools needed to work with sheet metal and a kiln and torch set up for working the glass. David packed the glass so carefully that it could not even chip in transit. The art studio had been giving me nightmares but the six of them handled it with little fuss and much good humor. On the other end they unloaded everything and put it where I wanted it. Brian was particularly helpful in suggesting locations for various pieces of furniture. Sometimes things had to be moved from one place to another and Asa and Robert were very reassuring to me about being willing to do that. in short a very long and stressful day was made possible and as pleasant as possible by six very nice men. Thank you Andre, Chris, David, Brian, Asa, and Robert.

We needed our movers to be very patient and flexible and to accommodate changes as the job progressed. Andre and Shawn called before they arrived, arrived on time, worked straight through getting the many different jobs done, some jobs arising as the work progressed due to what we found. We could not have been more pleased with Andre and Shawn. They are very competent, worked very well to achieve what we wanted and were always pleasant, good people to have working in your house. We are moving from overseas to the San Diego area and will have more work like this to be done during 2016. We will definitely ask for Andrea and Shawn. Stu, the owner, understands just what you need. He impressed us by phoning on the Sunday before our Monday morning job to check on details, and it turned out we were changing the job which he adjusted for right then and there on the Sunday. Stu runs a terrific operation which we recommend highly. We found MSJ on Angie's List in the first place.

It was fantastic from my first call with Stu through the move with Brian and Junior.. It went very quickly and the guys were friendly, courteous, and worked faster than anybody I've ever seen. The movers were very courteous, careful and accommodating. Everything proceeded as scheduled, and the process was completed efficiently and quickly. I would definitely use this moving company again.

These guys were great. Steve, Asa and Brian worked quickly and efficiently. They powered through, were polite and responsive to our requests and were better than we could have hoped for.

Excellent, very efficient. Buying a house, dates can change. Our closing was delayed by a couple of days and needed to change the move date back by a few days a the last minute. Not a problem for MSJ, they understand the stress of a moving. The gladly changed dates for us. The guys were very professional, efficient and took goo d care of our belongings. We moved out of a difficult location ion terms of access and some heavy items needed to be taken out a back door and up a hill. Never an issue for them. Highlt recommended.

MSJ ensured that items were well protected prior to moving, they following all HOA requirements, and carefully unloaded our belongings. They were prompt, professional, thoughtful, and all around great.

The move took us longer than expected, actually, I was quoted 8 hours and budgeted for that and it ended up being closer to 15. The only downside was I hadn't planned on paying time and a half OR double time, which we ended up paying. We only moved a mile from our home and the cost was pretty steep.

Excellent service! We were very pleased with the obvious expertise shown by Steven, Brian, and Chris. They were efficient and friendly. Steven carefully explained what services would be performed, and what the cost would be. They were careful and showed experience with different types of furniture. Nothing was scratched, and pads were used on all necessary items. They were fully prepared with all necessary tools, including a variety of dollies and hand trucks. Our piano and dining room hutch came through unscathed, which has not happened with a previous mover in the past. All in all, we were exceptionally pleased and highly recommend this company, and these movers. THANK YOU!

These people were able to schedule us on very short notice. The movers were very punctual and coordinated their arrival very well by cell phone. The men were very courteous and patient.

I am a little slow on the review as it was a bit over a year ago when I used their services, but they were great, I needed a hassle free moving company as my wife and I had just bought a new house and I was a few weeks from a military deployment. From the first call to set up a moving date to when the movers left, everything went smooth and all the staff were friendly and courteous. Andre, Steve and Asa were the three that moved us and they were great. When a neighbor complained that we were 'working' at 8:40 and moving hours didn't start until 9:00 the guys understood and rolled with it.The three worked hard all day and surely earned their money as we had a solid oak dresser that measures 5 ft tall by 8 feet long and has to weigh 400 lbs as well as a large leather couch that took 4 guys to move in when we first bought it. If and when we move again I hope these guys are still with the company.

We furnished a second home from out of state -- and I shopped solely online. Everything I ordered was sent to MSJ, from tiny glass accessories to king beds (and everything in between!). They accepted the deliveries and stored everything I had purchased -- once it was time to move in, they opened all the boxes, made sure the packing was correct, assembled everything that needed assembly, repacked it all, delivered it right on time AND unpacked everything and removed the boxes and trash. They stayed all day, until every item was unpacked, inspected and put in its place. The guys who delivered everything were professional, polite, neat -- and fun!! They didn't even make a face when we asked them to move the heavy patio furniture around "just one more time" -- four times! :-) Sean, Steve, Asa, Chris and Robert were all terrific and made this one of our easiest moves ever. Stu, the owner, was pleasant and accommodating. He made everything I asked about sound easy to accomplish -- and then the whole team made made the move look easy. I can't say enough good things about all the services at MSJ I used, or about all the people who work there -- I highly recommend this company without hesitation and would use it again in a heartbeat.

The guys (Steven, Junior and Andre) went right to work unloading the items. They worked well together. I appreciated their attention to detail, carefully loading and unloading my possessions. I look forward to working with them again next week (Part 2), when they move items from my apartment to my new house.

The job went very well. The three person crew consisting of Steven, Asa, and Chris were courteous, efficient, and professional. They executed the move with care and were done in less time than expected. We were very pleased with the entire process. The booking was quick and easy and met our time timelines. Our movers were Fernando, Brian, and Darin. They did a great job loading up our stuff quickly and unloading it where we wanted. They wrapped up all our furniture with quality packaging that protected it during transit. We had a 2-bedroom house with a full garage to move, and they got it done in under 6 hours, which was amazing. With the moving deal we purchased here, the value was prettygood.

I had some personal hard drives and I recall mentioning to the mover that I wanted to make sure they get to the new house carefully. I have not been able to find them anywhere. I am also missing shoes and some other items. They did pack stuff up good, I didn't have many broken items and they reimbursed me for them.

The crew of Asa, Junior and Oliver arrived and got to work loading my belongings into the truck. They were professional and polite and took care in moving my boxes and furniture. Once they arrived at my home, they again did a great job of getting things unloaded expeditiously. I was not aware that I was to be charged for their travel time from their warehouse to my house, which was a bit disappointing. Over all, however, they did a great job at a fair price.

Rafael and Keliko showed up to the first location right on time. They were courteous and professional, even to the patrons of the facility. They willingly made a stop at my home to drop off a few items that would not fit in my mother-in-laws new residence. Once at the new residence, they moved everything into the room and set up to furniture at our direction. They wrapped all items carefully and were mindful of the walls and floors while conducting the move. I've dealt with the owner when he first opened for business and now rely on him for all my moves. I recommend him to everyone. The only thing I didn't care for was my time started when they called from their previous location. However, the price was still well worth the effort.

The HOTTEST day of the year and 3 young men came to our "small" home in Normal Heights (792 square feet). Having never used professional movers before, I was not prepared at all! First of all I told Stuart the square footage of the house, forgetting that we had an attic (792 square feet) that was also packed with stuff, and a large crawl space under the house with camping and gardening stuff. Worst of all the movers had to do so much boxing. I don't know what we were thinking! We felt terrible but these movers were totally professional and worked at full speed for over 8 hours. We were especially impressed that they were dressed in nice shorts and polo shirts (a very professional touch!). They handled our old furniture like priceless antiques; they took great care with everything they touched. MSJ is the best of the best! Highly recommended!

Everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. Tiffany was very helpful on the phone when we booked the move and gave me pointers to speed up the process when the moving day came. Steve was the lead and he called, as promised, right at 8:00 and showed up with his team promptly at 8:30. Steve, Brian, Chris and Junior were professional, friendly and very well organized. They emptied the house quickly and managed to move a couple of very difficult pieces of furniture without damaging the furniture or the walls in the old house and the new house. All the furniture was blanketed and taped...something we sure never did when we moved ourselves in the past. Everything arrived intact with no breakage that I have discovered yet. We couldn't have asked for a smoother move with better movers---highly recommend MSJ Delivery!

From my first contact with Tina in the office to our moving experience with Brian and Kris everything went smoothly and professionally. Brian and Kris arrived on time and immediately went to work taking apart 2 beds and moving them to another bedroom. They very quickly and carefully unloaded that part of the truck that was staying at the house. We then went to the storage facility and they very efficiently moved the rest of the items into the storage unit. Without their organizational skills I am not sure that we could have gotten everything into the unit. They did all this in the 2 hour time period that we had paid for. We would happily hire Brian and Kris in the future. They did an excellent job!

I am an Interior Designer with 20 years experience. I rely heavily on designer delivery services to receive, deliver and move high value furniture in clients' homes. I have been working with MSJ for over a year. They were referred to me by a very reputable to-the-trade showroom in San Diego. The service provided is outstanding and I recommend MSJ without reservation. Today's service was provided by Andre and Robert. They called me 1/2hr prior to arrival at my client's home. They arrived with the necessary tools and equipment to do the job. They were patient and thoughtful about their approach. This was a complicated job. The prep they did made the job go smoothly. Communication between Andre and Robert was exceptional. Prolonged heavy lifting was required to navigate up a narrow staircase. A scrape or bump seemed inevitable but didn't happen. I am very impressed with this team and look forward to working with them again.

When preparing for my move, I researched numerous moving companies before making a decision. MSJ Delivery and Moving was competitively priced and with an Angie's List special offering 3 movers for 3 hours, they were actually more affordable than the other companies who all suggested that I only needed 2 movers. While scheduling the move, I spoke with Tiffany I believe, who was very kind and professional. She answered all of my questions and actually helped me get the best price by comparing a few different specials they had at the time. On the day of the move, Fernando, Raphael, and Robert showed up at the scheduled time and immediately got to work. Fernando took the time to explain the process to me and was extremely professional. The entire crew took very good care of my belongings and at no time did I ever worry that something would be damaged. I had read reviews of other companies where the clients felt that the movers "took their time" and prolonged the move. Not Fernando and his crew! These guys killed it! They had my whole house loaded on the truck within an hour and a half! I couldn't believe how fast they were. And unloading everything into the storage unit went even faster. I have nothing but good things to say about MSJ Movers, in particular, Fernando, Raphael, and Robert. I will definitely be using you guys again! Thanks so much for a smooth move!
