MSJ Delivery Moving & Storage

The moving service went smoothly although one dining room chair was damaged during the move. MSJ movers were notified of the issue and the item was promptly repaired per contract agreement. All aspects of the move were handled in a prompt and timely manner. Initially, I was concerned about the handling of the damaged property, but since that issue was handled to our satisfaction, I am revising my review and would like to withdraw the original review on 10/30/20.

I want to thank Andre, Antonio, Troy, Alex and Anthony for taking care of us during our move. They were very flexible with an added location which we greatly appreciated. They made things very easy and stress-free. The crew was on time and worked tirelessly until the job was completed. Thank you guys for everything. Because of them, we will surely use MSJ again whenever needed. Highly recommended!

Fantastic! 4 movers, all professional, polite and thorough. Stayed on task, did not stretch out the time by moving slowly. Worked well together, assigned duties so they weren't running into each other- very organized. I have large and heavy furniture, they wrapped it and handled everything without any issues. I found them from the referral of a friend, they weren't mass marketed- I'm so glad I listened to her! Moving stinks- but they made it as painless as possible. I won't need them again any time soon- but will recommend them to anyone who needs to move.

The move was conducted over the course of 7 days. I was really impressed with their hard work, professionalism and attention to detail. Jim Burdick is the new owner of MSJ. He was on site several times to make sure I was taken care of. The job was executed as expected. I would gladly refer MSJ Delivery to my friends and associates.

MSJ did a fantastic job. They met us at the storage unit on time, actually five minutes early. They had four guys and two trucks and were fast, polite and professional. They wrapped items with blankets or bubble wrap that could have been damaged in transit. We had a lot of loose items that they put in a couple of big, heavy cardboard tubs during the move. It was obvious these guys know what they're doing. Even the owner of MSJ came to supervise the unloading process to make sure we were happy with the service and attention received. I heartily endorse them and would recommend them for anyone seeking similar moving help.

It went great! They showed up punctual, figured out what needed to get done, and the path of least resistance!

Three men and twenty-four foot truck. Arrived on time and work was completed by 4:30 pm. Movers (Kevin, Sam, & Ruben) professional and when unsure of something we’re quick to ask questions and provide solutions to issues as they arose. Furniture was expertly wrapped in moving quilts and secured with plastic wrap. They were careful moving items from upstairs and protected the laminate flooring. This was my first time using MSJ and I was impressed with their professionalism. The office coordinator (Carlos) was helpful and quickly returned my phone calls when I was in process of arranging for this move. It took a little bit longer to move than estimated, but this was not unexpected and cost was within my budget.

Very good. I have used them 3 times. They are fast and professional. One time they moved me from house to storage to new house. Everything was packed and wrapped. Logged all the items and checked them in once I finally moved in from storage. One item was stored for 2 years -- it was in excellent condition when I finally moved into my house. Will use them the next time I move.

The crew were excellent. They were good-natured, hard-working and took care to pack everything well and not damage anything during the move. They were easy to talk to and very courteous.

It went off very well due to the excellent crew. All 3 of them were courteous, cheerful and very very hard-working.

They were respectful and polite. They wrapped everything I asked them to and did a great job on keeping most things damage free. My only negative - make sure you understand beforehand how you will be charged and how overtime and double time charges work. We were unhappy with the final bill ( double what was estimated). Our options for avoiding that were not explained to us.

We had Patrick, Joseph and Kevin move us from a third story apt to a single level house. They were absolutely FANTASTIC! They called when they were supposed to call to confirm the move, called when they were arriving, and did an excellent job with the move! They were professional, personable, and great movers. I had a nightmare experience last time I moved and this time I did my due diligence with research. I'm so glad I did! My initial contact with Chris was also exceptional. Don't hire anyone else - hire this company!

My three movers - Andre, Dan, and Joe - were pleasant and helpful. They had good attitudes and made the move less stressful. The move took longer than the company had estimated - over 8 hours as opposed to 4-6 as they quoted me on the phone. They were very conscientious of my belongings and special requests (not touching a recently painted area of the home) and helped rearrange furniture in a few rooms after we had already put it in.

Perfectly. I had a difficult time finding a company who would do a job this small, I was very pleasantly surprised that MSJ was able to do it. I was in no hurry and they told me that they had another delivery that was a pick-up near La Jolla. That made sense to me and told them that was great, whenever they could do it. It was done the next day and I was very happy with that and the two young men doing the work and with the office in planning it.

They called ahead and showed up on time. They were super fast, efficient, and polite. I was worried about the piano because I knew it had a wobbly leg, but they were able to gently move it over carpeting to the spot I needed it, lifting it up to put the coasters back down. I didn't have to life a finger. The final bill was only $230, which was a steal. They listened very carefully about where I wanted things put and asked questions about options I hadn't thought about. Excellent work and value. I will be calling and using MST Delivery when the remodel is complete and we need to move these items back.

Movers were very helpful and courteous. Some damage to furniture.

The move was very smooth. I pre-paid the first 2 hours with special member discount and hoping the majority of moving would be done within 2 hours. After I explained to them what I need, Kevin and Juan started moving my stuff right on clock without any delay. They are very professional, careful, and fast! Excellent job! Highly recommend.

The main reason we would not hire this moving company again is that the employees seemed very inexperienced. They took apart furniture and then struggled to, or in some cases, couldn't, reassemble it. The furniture that they did manage to reassemble, like a couple of wooden beds, they did not tighten the bolts well and the beds and even bent some of the bolts. All of these issues also caused the work to progress very slowly. They were not finished moving us in by the end of the day and had to come back the following day to finish.

Everything went well and as planned.
