MSJ Delivery Moving & Storage

It was very easy to schedule and they were very accomodating to our schedule. I gave all the information to Stu, but he wrote down that we were in a 1 bedroom/1bath condo, unfortunately, so only two men showed up. I also mentioned to him that we had a very heavy couch upstairs (spiral staircase) and he said it wouldn't be problem. He didn't come by and check our place out like it seems he did with other customers. We used the Angie's List deal, $299 for 4 hours and I honestly didn't think it would take much more time. It ended up taking 11 hours to move everything with just the two men. The two workers worked extremly hard and didn't even take a lunch break. They were both professional and did a great job moving everything. There were a couple items with minor damage, but MSJ sent out a handyman to fix the scratches and they all look as good as new! So bottom line, we didn't have enough workers and I think if we had, the experience would have been much better.

They did a great job. It was an extremely hot day and probably one of the hotter days of the summer and they got there early and took everything into the house and up to the stairs. There was one minor mark on the wall, but that was not a big deal and we got it repainted that day so it was fine. They weren't the cheapest but they were insured.

The three young men came early to our home, wrapped everything to our specifications, took to their truck and load our household perfectly. They followed us to our new home in Jamul, that was on rough terrain and then unpacked us expertly. They saved us time and money.

Accommodated the time I needed the work done. In and out quickly and was very conscious of furniture being moved and strategic on how to complete the task.

I was scheduled to move on November 29th, but on the 27th my Mom fell and broke her hip! I called Stu from the hospital to cancel my move and he couldn't have been nicer. He reassured me that there was no problem and to call him to set up a new date when I could. A few days later I called and we set up the move. He was very helpful and was able to reschedule on the day I wanted. He even asked after my Mother! The day of the move Moises, Juan and Marcel arrived on time and went right to work. In no time they had me loaded on the truck and headed to my new home. They wasted no time in get me moved and were polite and professional. They set up my bed and moved my heavy furniture to the places I wanted them. My items were insured and nothing was damaged or broken. I would use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

I bought the Angie's List deal because I only had a few items to move. Matt and Jason called before they arrived as promised. I have used a lot of movers and workers in recent years, but I am telling you that these guys are the best! Very courteous, careful, gentle with my things--not a scratch on anything! I have never had that happen with any movers before whether I used the cheapest or the best. I do not like the fact that I had to pay the company from the time they leave the warehouse though. That does not seem fair to me. I have never heard of a moving company doing that before. But these guys were so great that I would be willing to pay it. I will use them again any time I move and will refer all my friends. They made this the least stressful move ever.

I purchased a special - two men for four hours - from this company. Scheduling was easy. They called before they headed out. They were prompt, polite, friendly and careful with my furniture and belongings. They listened to what was important to me. I have had a very unsatisfacotory experience with movers in the past - these guys were great and I will definitely use them again.

I knew that I would be charged extra for gas, however they stated that the two hours would start when they left their facility. I was essentially out 30 minutes of the two hours allotted to me.

They did an excellent job. On-time, efficient, careful, and very friendly. I would not hesitate to hire them again and would highly recommend them.

MSJ movers did an excellent job. They arrived on time at my storage unit and quickly loaded and moved the furniture. Once at my house they not only placed the few pieces of furniture, but they also moved one piece that was already in the home to another room for me. They were very professional and courteous. If I needed to have a small move done again, I would call MSJ! of furn

It was a good deal. I just thought that they were good and they were just conscientious. They were careful to wrap things up and move it over there and they were careful to move our things because we were moving our fine furniture in our living room and dining.

They took really good care of my things (I have a lot of antiques). They were careful. My couch was wrapped in plastic so it would not get dirty in storage. They even took apart and reassembled some items upon delivery. They were very professional and I would use them again.

Did a fantastic job, and accommodated a last-minute packing request. Everything arrived on time and in one piece, the guys were professional, efficient and personable. Highly recommend MSJ.

Setting up the appointment was easy - owner went over the pricing which was very simple and straightforward. Day of: the two guys arrived on time, were very professional, and hard workers. They dealt with stairs vs a longer walk to load the truck (neither option was easy). This slowed them down a bit, but I can't complain. Even still, they didn't take many breaks and pushed through to get the truck loaded. They took an hour break for lunch, off the clock, and then met us at the house. Unload went much faster (always does) and uneventful. We've used a couple other local companies and MSJ was the best by far. We don't plan on moving again for awhile, but would definitely recommend.

Stu and Moises came to our offices and made a game plan with our office manager and everything was performed without a hiccup. They were so accommodating and were even able to pickup and deliver additional items from an office furniture dealer for us when the furniture people said they couldn't deliver it when we needed it. Very professional.

They did an ok job after a VERY SLOW start. I was told that they would bring 2 trucks & 4 men but then only sent 1 truck & 4 men, which meant that they could not fit all my furniture in one trip. It was taking so long that we could not afford the 2nd trip, quote.so we had to move the rest of our stuff over the next 5 days. They moved so slowly and talked a lot about how they would move the larger items so much that I had to call the owner of the company who had looked at my home and given me the quote, he and his co-owner actually did come out to help unload. So that was nice and he gave me a discount, but it was still much more thanI had expected. I was happy at the time but they said they got most of my stuff, but when I saw how much I still had to move I was dissappointed. After paying $1300 for a 2020 Sq.ft home to be moved, I would have expected them to get everything.

What was included in this price was a baby grand piano. That was a challenge! The only issue I had was that they didn't put the pedals on the piano back correctly. They probably would have come back and fixed it, if I had called. I was just too busy to deal with it. I still haven't had anyone fix the pedals. With working full time and trying to unbox all of our stuff, I don't have time to sit and play the piano anyway. They were nice young men and very professional!

Stuart responded within 2 hours of my request for quote and came out to my house that day. Ours was not going to be an easy move since it was essentially a 3 family move from a two story house to another two story house. The crew from MSJ showed up on time and handle our furniture and boxes with care. All the furniture was wrapped for protection. It did take 4 guys and two trucks but it all got done in one day. I would recommend MSJ and not hesitate to use them again.

The best movers we have ever had. Did such a great job I hired them a second time to help with additional items to move. The owners were courteous and responsive and the actual movers were THE BEST.

MSJ Delivery did an awesome job of making moving easier! Moving is still a stressful and exhausting experience but MSJ gave us an accurate estimate with an Angie's List discount, confirmed arrangements ahead of job, phoned us enroute, arrived on-time, took care in moving our furniture, and could not have been more professional. We felt like we were in such good hands. They worked very hard and all the men were very polite and had positive attitudes as they worked. We had never used movers before and were reluctant to have people in our home that we did not trust. MSJ brought workers into our home of the highest caliber. We stored many items in our garage and didn't end up needing to use MSJ's storage facility. They worked with us to make the space we had available work out and even offered their space at a discount if it didn't fit as planned. Due to us not being finished packing as we had planned, MSJ ended up working extra hours on a Friday night to get the job done. When one of the co-owners finished up another job, he came over to help us finish. It was a long day that started at 8 am and didn't finish until after 7 pm. I would hire MSJ Delivery again for any moving needs and recommend them very highly!

Stu was really good about scheduling me at a time that worked for me. Communication was easy. Nothing could have been better. I had already moved all my major items but still had a bunch of stuff, including plants and outdoor furniture, that wouldn't fit into my car. I had everything else already boxed and ready to move. The new location we were moving to was very close, so not much time was spent in travel. They were able to do everything within the two-hour time frame of the Big Deal, so I didn't need to pay anything extra for time. They were very efficient and helpful, and everything arrived in good condition and was placed where I wanted it. It wasn't a negative for me since I didn't require a full two hours, but they started the time when they left for my old house, not when they arrived. You might want to ask about that and about fuel surcharges. None of that mattered to me, and I was very pleased with everything, including the service and the amazingly low price. I should mention that I've seen the same Big Deal at a slightly higher price since I purchased it, and it would have still been a really good price even at the higher price. In fact, even without the Big Deal, I probably would have used them since they are willing to come out for small jobs (including moving appliances or furniture that I might buy but would need to rent a truck to move).

They did a great job. The price was reasonable for all the work they did. They were excellent. We had to change our schedule at the last moment and they were very accommodating. They came to work and were very accommodating and efficient. We will use them again to move the things that we stored. We were really impressed with them. They were great. It was worth joining Angie's List to find them.

They are excellent - I can't recommend them highly enough - in fact we will be using them again this month to move into an apartment in the Mission Valley area. Worked quickly and efficiently - handled all of our belongings carefully and even without the "big deal" they are reasonably priced for any moving needs
