MSJ Delivery Moving & Storage

Don't even bother looking for any other movers ? MSJ Delivery is the one to use. I called after reading multiple reviews on Angie?s List and Yelp, and was immediately impressed with the friendliness, professionalism and cooperative attitude of Tina as we worked to find a schedule date that was good for us and them. Tina was a delight to work with - even as I had to call and change the schedule a couple of times. She was always very pleasant and helpful; keeping in contact with us up to the very day the movers were to show - letting us know who was coming and what to expect. On the day of the move the driver, Fernando, called exactly on time as promised, letting us know they were on their way and what time to expect them to arrive. And, like clockwork, they showed up at the house. The three movers; Fernando, Andre, and Miles all got out of the truck, introduced themselves, and then without and delay, started surveying the rooms and items to be moved - making their strategic plan to get everything wrapped, packed and loaded. For the next two hours, these men worked non-stop with no messing around. Just wrap, pack and load - and they were ready to go. I even added some extra items at the very end, and Fernando simply said, "no problem sir" and loaded them right up. They drove away and met us at our new house and again, without hesitation, started unloading and unwrapping, then put everything right where we wanted, including one very large bed which had to be disassembled at the old house and reassembled upstairs at our new place. They were extremely careful moving all of our furniture and appliances - never once nicking a wall or causing any damage to either house. When finished, Fernando thanked us for our business and let us know that they were available for additional services other than just moving/delivery. So if we ever need a "helping hand" MSJ will be the first place we call. Big thanks to Fernando, Andre and Miles. Well-done!

About a year ago my wife and I were preparing to move to our new home and had the opportunity to book MSJ. In a moment of inexplicable "cheapness" I decided not to use MSJ and go with a "less expensive" mover instead. I have regretted that decision ever since. So when my mother-in-law decided to move this summer, I took the opportunity to right past wrongs and told her that the only company she should even consider hiring for her move was MSJ Delivery. These guys are great. Simply put Stu runs the best moving and delivery operation I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Carlos, Shawn, and Nick showed up at our mother's home right on time and got right to work. They were professional and courteous, and took great care with mom's belongings. They even helped us arrange the bedroom at her new home! This was the first of two moves we will have over the next week with MSJ, and they have gotten things off to a great start. I am more sure than ever we have made the right choice and that my past errors in judgment have been duly atoned for. Great job guys. Big A+!

Wow! These guys are awesome! Carlos, Miles & Cam showed up early, gave us a really clear picture of the process, explained everything, asked for our perspective and input, then went to work right away. The finished faster than we expected, never rested, kept our things and both places safe and unmarked, and provided great service, value, and an enjoyable day! We'd use them again in a heartbeat!!

Our movers were Shawn, Dakota and Asa... they were a great team as are all the MSJ people we have used for our past 3 moves. You can't go wrong, Fernado and his team did a fabulous job on a previous move. MSJ teams are our "go to" people for any moving we have to do, they have never let us down. We will continue to call on them and highly recommend them

They were amazing. There were 3 guys doing all the moving (I used the angies list discount) and boy were they quick. Showed up right on time, got a feel for everything then 2 started wrapping my furniture while one was carrying boxes. They packed everything within an hour and a half. Next was the 30 minute or so drive to the new place. They did not mess around, didn't go grab mcdonalds or stop at green lights. When we got to the new apartment they laid down a walkway into it(very cool) and began. In about an hour the truck was empty and my apartment was set up. Everything was in the right place, they even moved it around a few times(I am very indecisive). Not once did they start texting or stop for a phone call or cigarette. It was all work from the minute they started. And they were all good, personable guys. It was a great experience and when I move out of this apartment I will use them again. Thanks msj, you guys truly are the best.

The experience was outstanding. They were timely, prompt and professional. I was fine with their service. They did everything I wanted them to do.

Asa, Kollin and Rafael were professional, friendly and prompt. We had a two bedroom apartment (plus a garage) that we needed to move into a house about 2 miles away. We originally thought three hours would suffice. It did not. Luckily, because of an Angieslist deal, we got the first three ours at a discounted rate. The next 2 hours were $150/hr. Well worth it because who really likes to move? In those five hours, Asa, Kollin and Rafael took care of our stuff when packing, delivering and setting our furniture up at the new place. I've moved several times before and have watched other movers take their sweet time because they are paid by the hour. Not these guys...they really hustled! They were constantly asking me about what they could do to make the move easier. Would definitely recommend this company for local moves or deliveries.

They did a good job. It was done professionally. They didn't charge any more. I had to change about 3 times and they were cooperative.

Someone from MSJ called to set up the date and time for the delivery. They were professional and friendly. We agreed on a convenient date and time. When that time came, we received a call from the driver who told us when he would be at our house. Our sofa was delivered by Andy and Gary. It was brought into the house and positioned exactly as we requested. They made sure we were satisfied with the final result. They carried our old sofa to their truck and took it away. They did an excellent job. We will certainly contact MSJ Delivery for any moving jobs we may have in the future.

From setting up the appointment to paying for the services...everything was handled with an excellent level of professionalism! I would use this service again, and recommend it highly to anyone. Tina helped me with setting up the appointment, and guided me through the process. She was very helpful, honest, and accurate in all the information she provided. Gary, Nicholas, and Rob were our movers...they called, arrived, loaded the truck, delivered and set up our belongings as we were told to expect they would. We had an extremely large redwood & composite stair and deck unit to be moved. They planned how to do this, and did it with such ease! I work with professional teams daily...and, these 3 people set an example and execute great teamwork! My husband and I want to extend our "thanks" to Tina, Gary, Nicholas, and Rob...you took care of us and reduced the stress level for these two senior citizens!! Kathie

I started searching Angie's List for movers, my go to place when I need help. I always read all the reviews, like we all do, and MSJ Delivery had consistently good reviews and everyone thought their prices were very fair. I called their office and spoke to Tina, she is the reason I went with them. Her confidence made me feel so comfortable, she answered all my questions and some I hadn't thought of. I hadn't decided on when yet and she was so flexible with me, totally took the stress of picking a date and time away. Moving day arrived, I got a call from them saying they were leaving and would see me shortly, just as promised. A big beautiful truck showed up and I met Andre and Dakota, two really nice, clean, respectful men. They set to work and I was impressed that they always had both hands full, they were careful to wrap things and tie them down, they didn't damage a thing. The drive to the drop off point was about an hour, they got there when expected and had that truck unloaded in no time, putting everything right where we wanted it, which some went upstairs. Tina was right, everything went very smoothly and I really appreciated that. Thank you MSJ Delivery, you rock!!

Everything went perfectly. This job was complicated by the need to use two service elevators in downtown buildings, parking in specific spots for loading and unloading and dealing with the building personnel. None of this went perfectly.There were other movers trying to do their own jobs. The UPS truck was parked in the spot that my movers were suppose to use. The building personnel were not as helpful as they could have been. Carlos and Nicholas performed professionally and efficiently throughout their job. The job was done in the time frame I expected. The furniture was handled with care. They even took the time to tighten some loose screws in the chairs.

Fernando, Andre and Shawn did an excellent job of minimizing the trauma of moving. They worked quickly and efficiently and managed to get one piece of furniture into the new Condo that we never thought would fit This is the second time we have used them and would use them again

Andre and Asa arrived promptly as promised. They were both professionally dressed with a pleasant attitude. We moved some very old and expensive antiques most of which need delicate handling. They wrapped and loaded everything very carefully. At the storage unit they took care in helping to arrange everything to fit without any damage. Thank you for the greatservice.

Two nice guys called me to let me know they were on their way. They were very helpful in packing and moving my office out of the house and into the garage. The receptionist was really nice and helped me schedule this last minute move.

MSJ Delivery was professional and friendly in setting a moving date. I explained that I had purchased this deal for my 79 year old mother. Everything appeared to be going well. Then my mother received the news that she no longer qualified to move the new place in North Park. I explained the situation to MSJ Delivery. They suggested I contact Angie's list with my concerns.

We have used MSJ before, so we knew we would get excellent service. This move, though, was particularly stressful due to the fact that we were taking a leap of faith that my mom could live entirely independently after an illness that required more care for a couple of years. Tina in the office kindly accommodated our timeframe, including a rather short-notice change, and kept in constant communication about what our special needs might be. And you know, you often hear scary stories about moving companies, but when Carlos, Fernando and Nick showed up with smiles on their faces, I felt comfortable immediately. They guys noticed I was a bit frantic and basically shooed me out, knowing that my mom was alone in the new place, and told me not to worry about the rest of the packing, that they would take care of it. (THANK YOU, I arrived just in time for the cable guy to show up.) The first thing they brought in when they got there was the food they had removed from the fridge and freezer... they put it in the new appliances right away so it would melt or go bad. I was amazed at the thoughtfulness. They moved FAST, place the furniture exactly where my mother asked them to, and even hung some of her pictures. Thank you, MSJ. Stu, you are doing a great job of showing your employees that good customer service is a lifelong, noble and hopefully lucrative approach to anything that you do.

Move went well. Carlos, Matt and Nicholas were courteous and efficient. There were antiques and collectables. Everything was moved to the correct location and there was no damage. We will definitely use MSJ on future moves.

I am amazed at how well this process went. I've moved several times but have never had it go as well as things went at the time of unloading my container. I was exhausted from a transPacific move and had been really sick. I'm kind if a control freak and not having things done as I like in preparation had me nervous about how things would go. From the start things went well. Tina at the office provided me with a written quote up front, I had had problems with that on the Hawaii end of things. We set a time to do the unload and just like she said the crew called ON TIME to say they were on their way. I asked to start at 7am and Shawn, Andre , and Byron were there at 7am. Like I said I'm a control freak and I asked to pow wow first and state my plan for the day. They were attentive and fully on board to do things like I asked. They were efficient and careful, I have never had a crew as good as these guys. I got the A team for sure. And as it was getting closer to the end when people usually get tired and a little cranky they were still just as energetic and great as when they got there in the morning. I was the one getting nervous because the costliest items were the last off the container. They unloaded it with precision and care and my items were placed where I wanted them and unwrapped to my specifications. I'm still amazed, I wish I had them on my previous moves. I whole heartedly recommend MSJ Delivery for any of your moving needs. Oh and they finished an hour earlier than I expected, bonus!!! These guys are great. I dont have a truck and I hate asking friends to help. the office called when they picked up the table and when they were on the way. 2nd time Ive used them. Jason and Ira did a great job. I think Ira was on the moving crew last month too. great job fellas.

happy. nothing was damaged and I got my entire deposit back from my old apartment complex. 3rd floor walk up was well worth paying guys to move us out.

we called a couple companies to move us. Interviewed 4 of them. We liked MSJ and Stu the most. The quote was a little more than others but the final bill ended up being lower than all the estimates we received. The guys were really nice, I could see being friends with them and I trusted they were taken good care of our stuff like they were a bunch of our close friends. Great job.

The job day was very easy. 3 guys showed up on time. They were sweating and moving quickly. I was surprised we were done before my family took a late lunch. Best moving day ever.

I found them with an angieslist deal I saw. I didnt think the deal they had for 3 men for 3 hours was going to be enough for us but Tina offered us a 10% off because of angieslist. I called on a monday to ask a few questions, they sent someone out to look at our place on tuesday. We booked with them and had a moving crew packing us up on friday and moving us on saturday. I was so happy with the speed of everything becuase i waited last minute to put it all together. We were very happy with the process. My wife and I left during the packing day and came back when they were all finished up. We did the same on the moving day and met them at our new house... I went back to the old apartment and found a cleaned out apartment only needing a little vacuuming and tlc before we checked out. I am very happy with the overall job... Jason, Chris and Stu were very thorough and attentive to our needs. Never stopped moving and they clearly knew what they were doing. The final bill was about $1000 lower than the original estimate, earned the most points from me.
