MSJ Delivery Moving & Storage

MSJ has been great. This was definitely the easiest and most convenient move we've ever experienced. The service is a little more expensive but you do get what you pay for: A detailed inventory of all items that were put on the truck and into storage / Every fragile piece of furniture was wrapped and carefully loaded. Couldn't ask for a better service. In terms of movers, make sure to ask for either Carlos, Nick, Nicolas, Dakota and AsA. Tina who's at the office will be happy to help with any questions. MSJ is a first class company. Scheduling the initial walk through and estimate with Stu was easy. The information he shared with us at that appointment was informative and precise. We received his written estimate by e-mail later that same day. The estimate from MSJ was @ 5% above the other vendors we interviewed, and was worth every penny. From the start of packing through the long, labor intensive move day, the work was very professionally done. The staff, lead by Fernando, worked very efficiently. They were foresightful about packing and loading things systematically, yielding a well organized delivery on the other end. As with most moving days, a thing or two went wrong on the home owner end. No problem for the MSJ team. They were flexible, experienced, extremely courteous, and diligent about getting the job done right. Moving is hard work. My recommendation: go ahead and hire MSJ. You will be really glad you did.

Two young men, Asa and Dakota arrived nearly on time and made short work of the move. They took the time to protective wrap all the furniture and loaded up with no wasted effort. Once at the new place they likewise unloaded all and placed the furniture. No muss no fuss it was all very professional. The cost was more than the coupon prepayment because of a fuel charge and 15 minuets overtime. Remember, your time includes splitting the transit time to your location so you will never get (without extra charge) the full two hours of labor but this seems reasonable to me. Next time I will work less and leave more to these pros.

I have NEVER received such OUTSTANDING service before. Tina responded to my inquiry immediately. Fernando and Dakota did THE BEST JOB!!!!!!! They were prompt, communicative, courteous and professional. I paid for three people for three hours. Unfortunately, one person was ill and without hesitation, I was provided an extra hour by the two hardest working men in America. They worked so well together and handled my belongings with great care. I am overwhelmed by the excellent service provided and would highly recommend MSJ, specifically Fernando and Dakota. They truly removed a lot of stress associated with moving and I am very grateful. Fernando and Dakota reminded me of the way life used to be when people had a strong work ethic and integrity. Thank you for a fantastic job!

Asa, Shawn and Miles did great work. Bought the $299 for three hours, three guys and a truck. Hard workers and were very easy to work with. Would recommend. Thanks

Asa and Byron were phenomenal! They met us at a home where we purchased a very heavy armoire. They protected it and expertly packed it onto their truck, then, delivered it to our new home. They were very careful about placing it on the newly finished floor and helpful in ensuring we placed felt pads under the feet, etc. we also had them move heavy pieces of furniture out of a POD into the house. They moved a heavy custom glass table, again patient with ensuring protective pieces were in place. Most importantly, they had a great attitude --- happy, laughing, and clearly willing to do whatever we needed help with. They certainly made the onerous task of moving less stressful!

Carlos, Nicholas, and Kollin were AMAZING! They hustled, moved everything in a timely manner and made the process as smooth as possible. Quality got a B because after the dust settled from the move, we noticed minor bumps and scratches on our furniture. This is obviously expected, but was sad to see a huge scratch on the front of my baby's crib :( Besides that, the overall experience was as harmless as could be thanks to MSJ.

Carlos, Nicholas, and Dakota did a fabulous job. They worked hard and got the job done quickly. They also took good care to not damage our stuff.

Carlos and Kevin were EVERYTHING we could hope for in movers, especially since it was moving my 81-year-old mom out of her home of 55 years. They were careful to explain everything and reassure her so she would feel comfortable -- and when they went to move an antique secretary (desk) and saw a small piece was already loose -- they not only called my attention to it, they carefully protected it so that it did not sustain further damage and we would be able to still have the loose piece when we got to the other end. The move was a little tricky because some things in the house were staying and some were going. They were careful to confirm that they had the right pieces before loading each one. My one hesitation had been that a previous review had complained that the move went into overtime and cost them considerably more -- this was especially a concern since the move was approximately 2.5 hours away which, with round trip travel time only left about 3 hours TOTAL for both the loading and unloading before overtime would kick in. My fears turned out to be unfounded, for they were mindful and respectful of our time, without making my mom feel rushed, and actually came in under the 8 hours. They even took the time to confirm with my Mom where she wanted each piece placed in her new apartment, and let her know she could change her mind and they would move it somewhere else. They were as considerate as if they were moving their own elderly family member. Even once everything they wanted to make sure it was placed to her liking, and wanted to know if there was anything else they could do for her. It made a day that could have been most stressful into a wonderful experience. I would not hesitate to use them again anytime I need a mover!

Amazing! I was very apprehensive about choosing a moving company until I phoned MSJ Moving. From the very first call to Tina who took her time to explain all the details with a kind, caring customer service attitude to the three wonderful movers, Fernando, Nicholas and Steve. These three gentleman did the most amazing job in 98 degree heat and 7 hours of work. All my household items were treated with care and consideration, carefully, wrapped and protected. These guys had a smile on their face from the start until the end. Kind, professional and FANTASTIC customer service. Look no further this should be your moving company. Stu Zuckerman must be doing something right. Thank-you Fernando, Nicholas and Steve for making my life easy and with a smilw and great attitude. I will definitely use MSJ again and am recommeding them to all my friends!

No problems. Shawn, Asa, Gary, Dakota, Oscar, Andy moved a whole lot of furniture, including some very large pieces, into our new house, and didn't break any of it. Friendly bunch of guys.

MSJ Delivery did a fantastic job! Fernando and Asa were my movers for the day, and they were great. I have never hired movers before and was unsure of what to expect, but I immediately knew I was in good hands with these guys. They arrived on time, and worked quickly and efficiently. The process and pricing was explained to me, and there were no hidden charges or surprises. Fernando and Asa were very professional, took very good care of my things (not a scratch on the new walls!) and made sure I was completely satisfied with everything before they concluded for the day. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat.

We had hired 3 movers to help with the move. There wasn't a lot to move; however, the walking distance is far from the apt to the truck dock, which took up a lot of time. All 3 movers were very nice and careful in moving the furniture. Very impressed on how they worked together. I would highly recommend their service!

Moved out storage furniture into our new extension room. On time and very professional.

In a word it went FABULOUSLY. They showed up exactly on time and were very careful with the furniture and equipment. Even though it seemed like it was the hottest day of the year they kept a sense of humor and never stopped working. There was no confusion on splitting the funiture and equipment into two deliverly locations. Everything ended up in the correct location with no nics or dings. Desks look as good as when they picked them up. And to top it off they came in UNDER budget for both the time and the fee. I really cannot say enough good things about this experience and will for sure be using this company again!!!!!!

This was my 7th move in 7 years, so I have a pretty good basis for comparison... First, scheduling the move was a breeze. Tina fully answered my questions, and handled all the details for the move-out forms and insurance required by our Homeowner's Association. I had pre-packed most of the boxes, and had the movers pack the furniture and large framed art pieces. They also had to remove two large wall-mounted plasma TV's, disassemble and reassemble a large desk, and take apart two pedestal beds. One of the movers, Fernando, noticed a small crack in one of the wood pieces in the base of the bed, and alerted us to this fact before the move. That alone was noteworthy--and much appreciated. The team worked quickly, but also carefully enough to notice things at the same time. Our crew was Gary, Asa and Fernando, and they worked seamlessly together. They were also very polite ("Is it ok if I put my drink in your refrigerator?"), and generous with their help when we asked them for additional things like tightening screws on a floor lamp or removing large bolts from a wall. I hope we don't move again for a very long time, but if we do, I will definitely use MSJ Delivery again!

I was thinking of doing the move myself. At the very last minute I called MSJ Delivery and Storage. I was so lucky they were available. They were on time, they gave me call when they were heading to my apartment. 8Byron & Asa were amazingly fast and efficient when it came to moving my items and getting them loaded into my storage unit!! They moved me fast and were like professional Tetris players when it came to allocating the space in storage! I under estimated how much stuff had to fit into the storage unit, it was tight but they got it all in for me. Never again will I think about moving myself, I'll just call MSJ Delivery and Storage

It went fast... my team of three were awesome. I had a card with their names on it, however, I must have lost it in the unpacking stage. Sorry Guys!! I do remember Asa, as it is different and he was the most talkative. My team leader was prompt and explained everything to me. The guys moved me in less then three hours from a two story with a LONG walk to the truck to a new two story. I will defiantly refer my friends to MSJ for their moving needs!!

Carlos, Andre and Asa showed up exactly on time and went to work right away once they received the details of what we wanted them to do. Our move was not typical, all our stuff was spread out over a storage unit and 2 garages in 2 different neighborhoods. The crew worked diligently, efficiently and safely for the entire 7+ hours it took to load and unload 3 different times. Nothing was damaged and the entire crew was nothing but polite, professional and fun to be around. I would happily recommend MSJ and this crew to anyone.

Carlos and Miles did an outstanding job. They moved a solid slab pool table and a sleeper sofa from an upstairs room to the garage. They did the move safely and efficiently with no damage to the items, walls, or floors. We will have them back when we move from a rental into our new home in August.

Fantastic job! Gary and Andrew were great. Very nice hard working guys that took extra care of everything they did. I highly recommended them and SUPER great prices. Very reasonable prices and no surprise extra costs. Everything was explained to me up front from the office girls answered all of endless questions promptly with a nice attitude as I did not want any surprises and there were none. I was impressed that Gary and Miles arrived 10 minutes early for our 8:00 a.m. and both guys were very professional and gave me confidence they would be careful in our home not to damage our walls moving furniture downstairs and out of our home. They provided the use of five wardrobe boxes for my daughter's hanging clothes which saved us the expense of buying these boxes and lots of time. They protected several pieces of artwork and glass table tops that I did not have the material to wrap prior to the move. In 1 1/2 hours, they had everything loaded in the truck and were heading out for Downey, CA where my daughter was waiting. They let me know they would take a 30 min. lunch break before arriving at my daughter's apartment so I could give her a realistic idea when to expect them. These guys moved fast, worked together effectively as a team and were a real pleasure to have in our home. They were kind to my daughter who was only 21 and nervous about moving into her first apartment. I highly recommend this company for moving services and plan to give them our business next year when we sell our home next Spring. Gary, Andre and Byron were amazing! They showed up on time, worked quickly and effectively. They were extremely polite and accommodating. They all had great attitudes and did an amazing job moving all of our furniture and getting us into our new house. I will definitely use MSJ again, what a great experience!

Very satisfied. They moved me to the Temecula area and were very professional in all respects. Gary and his crew were outstanding. They were careful, respectful, on time and on budget. What more could I ask for? Oh yes, they were very fairly priced.
