MSJ Delivery Moving & Storage

We have used MSJ before for a small job of moving a few items of furniture and we were so pleased that we scheduled MSJ to not only pack up our townhouse but also to store everything in their warehouse while comprehensive renovations are under way. Everything was flawless! We had four great guys take good care in packing (everything from kitchen to bedroom items including glassware & crystal) and also equal care in wrapping furniture for storage & loading everything into their two trucks. Carlos was the point man and kept things moving right along with an amazing knowledge of all things related to moving and storage. His crew included Fernando, Brian and Rafael and they could not have been more pleasant, careful, and efficient. MSJ has, once again, provided excellent service and is, indeed, just what you would want in a company that you trust with all your personal belongings. Highly recommended!

I was very impressed with MSJ Delivery and Moving Services. I read the reviews about MSJ on Angie's List (in addition to several others in the San Diego area). MSJ was at the top of my list from the start and after talking to other moving companies I was convinced that MSJ was the best choice. I talked to Tina (MSJ Scheduler) on the phone for at least 10-15 minutes and she described the process, cost estimates and the quality of service that was to be provided. She was very nice and open about anything I asked. I drove down to their office and talked to her some more questions and then was able to schedule a move (large truck plus 3 guys) for the next weekend. The delivery and moving service was every bit as good as Tina described. Shawn, Asa, and Steve arrived on-time and had provided courtesy calls 30 minutes before the scheduled time of arrival. They did an amazingly good job of packing all the goods (which included couches, dining room set, bedroom furniture, office furniture, washer/dryer, and many boxes of kitchen goods and clothing). I was really impressed by both the care the guys took in packing and unpacking at the new house to make sure that everything was safe and in good condition. They were very performance oriented but also managed to keep a very good sense of humor throughout the 4 hours of work. They were very careful with everything, courteous, and professional. They made sure that everything was in the correct room and re-assembled to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend MSJ for anyone in the San Diego area looking for a great team to move their household goods to a new home.

I contacted MSJ Delivery through Angie's List and explained to Tina, their customer service representative that we needed to relocate my 96 year old mom from San Diego to San Dimas. This was about a two-week lead time. I explained that I also needed their assistance in picking-up and dropping-off additional items in Escondido and one other location. Tina was great! She asked all the right questions (when, where, who, etc.) and made sure that I understood the process that would be followed on the day of the move. She gave me the breakdown of the company's work and pricing methodology and ensured that I understood that as well. I asked as many questions as I could think of and then Tina asked and answered additional questions that I hadn't even thought of! By the time our conversation was over, I felt like Tina and MSJ Delivery were old friends. It was the best customer service experience of my life! Tina told me that she was going to assign her "very best 2-man team" to handle the move. After my talk with Tina, I believed her. And events proved that she was absolutely telling the truth. Team leader Carlos and his partner Brian were the best. Carlos called me the minute they left the company warehouse and gave me an estimated arrival time. They beat that by ten minutes which was great because the pricing model has costs accruing by time spent. So Carlos and Brian show-up (in a late-model, well maintained and clean truck) park in the correct area on a busy street and proceed to work. And boy did they work. My wife and I had boxed-up the small items in the apartment so the work of MSJ Delivery could be more efficient. But Carlos and Brian still had to wrap, pack and breakdown other items and they wasted no time doing so. It was clear to me that they respected and trusted each other and that they were an effective team just as Tina had said. They did not dawdle and waste my money nor did they rush and damage any of my mom's personal items. Within an hour and a half of starting the job, Carlos and Brian had mom's apartment packed in the truck, ready to go. They performed the interim furniture pick-ups just as efficiently and got on the interstate for San Dimas. The only delay at that point was the traffic. When they arrived at the new assisted living facility, the offloading was as efficient as the original on-loading. Again, Carlos and Brian wasted no time but they were still careful in their efforts. On reflection, I can't think of a single negative thing that occurred during this move. 1) Tina, the customer service rep covered all details up-front 2) Nothing she said initially was proved wrong later 3) She contacted both assisted living facilities to ensure there were no conflicts on the day of the move and she followed-up with me so that I would be reassured 4) Carlos and Brian, the actual movers, were experienced, mature and effective professionals 5) Carlos and Brian, before doing a thing, sat with my mom to explain what was going to happen so that she would be reassured and comfortable 6) Once they began working, they wasted no time! No goofing-off, no unnecessary talking 7) They were careful with mom's possessions and treated mom and all her stuff with respect 8) When all was completed and I made payment, there were NO SURPRISES!! Costs were exactly as I'd been told two weeks before by Tina. I will use MSJ Delivery again and will recommend them to anyone who needs to move. If I could give an A++ rating I would.

Carlos and Fernando were the best. Ver courteous, and very professional. I kept asking if they could take furniture, and more and more, they never said no. Just went about there business as the true professionals they were. Would definitely use them aqain

MSJ responded to our request and scheduled the work very promptly. Fernando and Andy showed on the dot and were courteous, professional and efficient. Job was completed within the estimated time, and cost was as quoted. We would certainly call them again, and are happy to recommend them to others.

We are having our floors refinished so we needed to move some furniture from the house to our garage to store while the work is being done. I had a very pleasant and easy experience with MSJ Delivery and moving services. The two man crew of Steven and Asa were on time, courteous, efficient and really nice guys. Tina at the home office was also extremely professional and nice to deal with. Thanks for a pleasant, low stress experience for a change!

Great service! We had several large items including, a large TV chest, queen bed, dining table / chairs, upholstered chairs and other items that we were moving from a townhouse to a storage unit. MSJ was professional and helpful throughout the process. They were able to schedule on short notice and sent two great guys, Carlos and Fernando to handle the move. Carlos called me when they were on their way with an accurate estimated time. They immediately got to work taking care to insure the furniture would be protected while in storage. At the storage unit their years of experience was evident as it was somewhat of a puzzle to fit all pieces into the space. Carlos and Fernando both worked quickly and carefully and were just exactly what you would want if you could choose someone to help you move! I highly recommend MSJ Delivery and I will definitely be calling them when it is time to move the stored items.

Lead man Fernando called me when they were on their way and he gave me an accurate time of arrival. He along with Shawn and Rafael introduced themselves and asked me what I wanted done. They immediately went to work and carefully wrapped and padded items as needed and moved them to the truck. They were very polite, friendly and professional. They got everything moved to its proper place within the 3 hour minimum time frame.

The entire moving process was excellent from scheduling to the actual move. I have moved many times over the years and this was by far the best, most professional moving team I have ever experienced! Andre, Jeremy and Byron were pros and amazingly fast at moving our 4 bedroom single level to a larger home with two sets of stairs. We were very impressed with the company and with these polite gentleman. Moving is a hassle and they made it a smooth and flawless process! Highly recommend!

They men were punctual, efficient, helpful and everything made it without damage after a 16 hour road trip.

Excellent. One time, Fernando and Rafael we very pleasant and efficient moving heavy items out of our home and dropping off at the consignment store. This company is a gem!

I contacted MSJ by phone. They were very prompt in responding. They sent a crew of 4 guys to move all of our things. They were punctual, friendly and very hard working. Our move went without a hitch and all of our belongings arrived in great condition. I recommended them to another friend who used them a few weeks later. Highly recommend!

I underestimated how much moving I had to do, so where the deal said 3 hours it actually took 8 hours, It took the whole day and so I incurred extra costs beyond the package deal and it ended up being more expensive. It was a very successful move. The crew was really good. They did a really good job. They were very friendly and very respectful. But when we got to the destination they put some of my living plants outside with some of the outside plants and some of the potted plants took a beating because they were indoor plants and they were delicate but it worked out just fine. The young man who was in charge was very respectful, very informed and on top of things especially for his age. The whole crew was helpful and seemed to be happy with what they were doing. It was a good experience overall. They did a good job wrapping stuff.

Everything went very smoothly. Byron, Austin, and Vincent were on time and very professional. They showed great hustle and did the job very efficiently.

This was Andre and Byron's second move for my family and me in the last few weeks. They were both professional, hard working, and also, very nice. They were both very responsive to some fragile items that needed to be moved, which was great. I have no qualms about using their services in the future!

Carlos, Byron, and Austin showed up on time ready to work. They did a walk-through of the house to see what was going and quickly went to work. They loaded the truck with everything and met me at the new house. They were very careful with our stuff and the new house. They were efficient, clean, and very hardworking. The work was completed in the time they had said and we were very happy with their work. We would definitely use them again.

Asa, Shawn & Steve did an amazing job with my move. They were efficient, professional and funny! They lowered my stress level (they say that moving is one of the most stressful life events) by making everything go smoothly. I've used other movers in the past - and there is no comparison. Every other time, furniture was scratched, damaged, dirty. I never realized how REAL movers protect your furniture by wrapping it in blankets, shrink wrap, and taking the extra care to do a really good job. I have already recommended MSJ - they did a great job!

the moving arrived exactly on their appointment. Fernando and Rafael were very polite and nice they took very good care of my furniture and bed and mattress. they very professional as they rapped all of my furniture before moving it and carried it very carefully. i would definitely use msj delivery again, and hope to meet Fernando and Rafael again.

This crew was very professional and showed a great deal of care with our possessions. They called before they left the yard to let us know they were on their way and I was a little concerned that it took 50 minutes for what should've taken no more than 30. In the end I paid twice what I expected to pay but I can't fault the crew. They worked the entire time and had great attitudes. Overall it was a good experience

This was the best mover we've ever used! They moved us from a 5000 square foot home, 5 plus bedrooms, living room, kitchen, dining room, family room and office. They moved all our outdoor furniture as well. They were extremely careful, asked lots of questions when necessary, and made sure not to damage our travertine floors and newly installed wood floors. Andre and Brian were amazing with helpful suggestions on where to place furniture into our new house. Byron and Rafael were also excellent. I would recommend this crew to anyone who needs a mover who will take care of their valuables, respect their house, and also work quickly and efficiently. We are moving again in 2 years and will definitely call MJS for that move as well. I can't say enough good things about them!

A great experience. They called in advance, showed up on time, got everything in the truck (2.5 hours), drove across town, and unloaded it on the other end (2 hours) -- about 5 hours total. They were fast, careful, efficient, hard-working, and got the job done in about 2/3 the time for 2/3 the price. Highly recommend.

It was okay. The extra charge was for the time they took to do everything. They were nice guys.

Everyone was super polite, professional, and understanding of my request to limit the move to just the three hours included in the deal. I don't recall the woman who booked the job, but she was so nice, and really helpful.... even though I had to reschedule 2x. Our movers Andre, Dakota, and Asa were awesome! I hired them to jump start our move by helping us with the most difficult part, moving everything from our upstairs to our new home. They were very respectful of my limitations to keep it under the prepaid time, but still managed to get everything done that I needed. They got everything upstairs, then took the large furniture from downstairs. Then, since they estimated they still had some time left, they grabbed a few boxes from the garage and took that over too. They were fast, friendly, and made me feel so comfortable working with them. They were WAY better then the last company I worked with! I would def recommend them!
