Description of Work: 2 ladies cleaned house for move-in. The spoke in Spanish to each other. Always worked within feet of each other, refused to break up the team to other ends of house. Too much talking, not enough cleaning.

Description of Work: Had them come and clean our home while we were at the hospital delivering our new baby girl. Coming home to a clean house was like a miracle after two long nights at the hospital. Would recommend and use again.

Description of Work: Did a initial clean top to bottom on the whole house. Will continue to have them clean every other week.

Description of Work: They were really good. They came quickly and they stayed almost 5 hours.

Description of Work: The housekeepers were punctual, polite, and caught on quickly. They did everything I asked them to do working according to the methods they had been taught to use...I would say they did a general light cleaning which was all that I needed. Heavier or deep cleaning requires more time. They dusted, vacuumed, cleaned bathrooms, and collected trash, utilizing their own cleaning supplies and vacuums. The girls were energetic and thorough. I was at home while they were working - there were three of them and the job was completed in two hours. I would use this company again-when my housekeeper is on vacation.

Description of Work: I contracted Molly Maids to clean a rental property that I own in San Diego. I live on the East Coast, so I looked on Angie's List for one of the higher rated cleaning services with the hopes that the experience of others with a company might yield good results. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. The first estimate we received indicated that the time required to clean the house would be about four hours. The cleaning began on the day of the infamous SoCal black out, so they had to come back the following week to finish the job. At the start of the return trip we received a call that the house was probably going to take 6 hours due to the condition of the house. I was fine with that, as our previous tenants were three male law school students with a dog. Once the job was completed, I was informed that the job too nine hours. I never received a call with the increase in time requirement. So, what should have been a $400 job was now a $600 job, without prior approval. I called Molly Maids, and after a short discussion, they agreed to take off the extra two unauthorized hours off. At that point, I was satisfied. However, I traveled to San Diego to inspect the house this past weekend prior to new tenants moving in, and was horrified to see that the $500 I spent did not include clean bathrooms or mopped floors! The toilets had not been touched! I know the power outage broke up their normal cleaning schedule, but 500 bucks to clean 1400 sq ft, and not cleaning the bathrooms or mopping the floors is inexcusable. If you use this company, make sure you're there and inspect what you expect. I am a very dissatisfied customer.
