Description of Work: I was starting to redesign my rose garden and saw the Angie coupon to have Letz Design do a consultation. I am so glad that I did. Steven Letz is a great thought partner and together we design a garden that was much more attractive and creative. The plantings are just in and already I am getting great comments from neighbors and friends on the design and layout. I would highly recommend Steven to come and expand your landscape thinking.

Description of Work: At our initial meeting with Steve, he drew out a preliminary design with plant suggestions. At our second meeting we finalized the design. We made a few changes prior to having the work done. We are pleased with the end result.

These two hour consultations often leave the customer wanting more. It is challenging at times to create a design that satisfies a homeowner (who may have their own difficulties in making decisions in such a brief amount of time). I therefore am no longer offering this service and will concentrate on clients who wish to engage me to create a full Master Plan.

[member name removed] purchased a two hour consultation with a rough sketch for his small front yard in San Diego. I met at the scheduled time and we reviewed numerous choices of plant materials and the clients responded favorable to a rough layout. After the two hour meeting, I then returned to my office to generate a type written plant list and a more legible drawing which took another 90 minutes (unpaid). I sent all the information back to the client the same day. [member name removed] did have a few follow up questions regarding contractors, soil, etc. and I responded with the needed information. I am unclear if I did not meet this client's expectation. A two hour consultation is just that. It is not meant to be a Master Plan which typically takes 5 to 10 hours of my time. I will have to contact this client to learn how I could have been more professional or provided more quality in this two hour time frame.

So far.....excellent!
Description of Work: We wanted to re-do our small front yard from what was once a green lawn into an asian influenced, drought tolerant landscape and Steve knew just what we had in mind. Steve is a professional in very sense of the word....on time, courteous, and patient he listened to our needs and concerns and addressed them without hesitation. We must wait for the final look though as we have foundation work that must be addressed first. The wonderful thing is that when we are ready to implement Steve's design he will be there to help us implement it and we look forward so much to the day when we can all enjoy the fruits of his labors.
