Description of Work: Had an apt; due to family emergency we had to postpone appt.; second appt. was kept, he came out and provided an estimate; my husband and I decided to discuss privately and advised contractor we would call him; we accepted his offer yet he did not return our calls and we have not had further dealings with him. Description of Work: He repaired about 36 inches of my stucco wall and said that's all he could do for $99!! I feel his advertisement is a joke and a rip off ....and a "hook" to get clients! Totally not worth it! He also forgot twice about the appointment and I had to call him and remind him I had already paid through Angie's list for his service! | |He sucks!

Description of Work: We had to move a breaker box from outside the house to inside. Try getting somebody to come just to patch up the hole left in the outside wall. This offer was perfect and JL went above and beyond in meeting our needs and doing a timely and high quality job. I would definitely call them for future (bigger) needs.

+ -1 moreIt went very well, I had purchased a 2 hour special and for an additional $100.00 dollars had all the work I needed done. Ordinarily this would have run much more. Jose was very professional and matched the color on my house very well. I am very happy with the results.

+ -1 moreJose Luis moved patio furniture way from the walls and carefully taped plastic over each window. He repaired all the cracks around the windows and doors and the roof of the portico. He and his assistant did a good job of matching the existing paint color, so the repairs are not noticeable. He was careful to avoid our new plants next to the house and cleaned up afterwards. We discussed the options for changing the color of the stucco other than paint. He left a helpful brochure that explained the process. I will be contacting him for more information.
Description of Work: Repaired cracks in stucco. Did excellent prep work (covered windows) and clean up.

+ -1 moreThis is a dream provider. I am so glad I did this! Stucco had loosened from moisture around the dirt line and up a few feet, and in areas where a patio door had been installed. He answered my email promptly, set up a date only a few days away, and was actually early for an 8am appointment. He reviewed options with me. I had bought the Big Deal for two workers for two hours and he extended the same price to all the work, even bringing in a 3rd worker at no extra cost in order to complete the work in a day. They dug down below the dirt line, having to move some earth. They didn't cause any damage to plants. They color-matched the stucco to the existing house color, and they got it all done in a day. He fixed an upper area as well, where a corner had crumbled, at no extra cost. The big payoff was when it recently rained and I felt secure about the rain not further eroding the plaster. It's still smooth all around the house. I highly recommend.

He is professional, punctual (the project was finished the exact date he promised) and his quality of work was amazing. My husband and I were extremely pleased with his work, flexibility and desire to make the customer happy. I would highly recommend Jose and JL Stucco to anyone doing stucco work on their home.
Description of Work: Jose and his team at JL Stucco replaced our stucco "in kind" at our home in La Jolla. We replaced the windows at the same time and also did an interior renovationat the same time- so we were working on a tight timeline that involved a number of contractors. Jose not only did an outstanding job on his part of the project-he was able to work with and around the other contractors in a professional and timely manner.
