Done within 3 months to our specifications by courteous, capable, RELIABLE and RESPONSIVE design/engineering professionals. Costly, and worth it. Ask for George for design and Dan as site supervisor.

 + 0 moreA great experience overall. Even during demolition, they were very careful to clean the job site at the end of each day. While no remodel is "painless", this one could certainly have been much worse. The craftsmen were cheerful and efficient, and meticulous in their attention to detail. This was not the lowest estimate we got, nor was it the highest. We selected them because of their approach to project management, and our confidence in their design capabilities. Beyond the fact that we are very satisfied with the results, the best commentary is that it doesn't look like an addition -- it blends seamlessly into the architecture of the remainder of the house (built in 1973) and looks like it's always been that way.
Description of Work: Reconfigured two existing bedrooms and one bath, removing exterior walls and adding 350 sqft of new space, to create two complete master suites (bedroom, bathroom, walk-in closet). Also updated a second existing bath.

 + 6 moreThere were a couple of snafus. First, the team did not show on the first day (scheduled by Statement of Work). The owner made good by giving me a couple of major price breaks. The work went well up to the end, when it was discovered that a couple of items hadn't been ordered which were also written into the Statement of Work. There was no excuse for this and the job ended up finishing a month late (3 months instead of 2).
Description of Work: Jackson Design and Remodeling (JDR) completely remodeled our Master Bath (MBA). This included completely gutting it, hot-mopping the new shower area for new tile install ($) new recessed lighting, new vanities, new silestone counters, new vessel sinks, new adult height toilet, new large linen closet, and new paint. The shower is now huge with a rain head, bench, grab bar, hand-held shower head and wall shower head. It looks amazing.
