He was on time, clean, efficient, helpful. I bought a new handle. It was not the right one and he was nice enough to trade it out for me with one he had that was right.

Saturday morning, pipe under kitchen sink burst, water everywhere, rugs floating, wood floor getting soggy. I found Ideal Plumbing in my latest Angie's monthly booklet. Originally I was told that they would send someone in 3-4 hours. As I was speaking to Natalie (I think that was her name) she said that an appointment just opened up and they could have someone at my house in 1-2 hours. Tom arrived, surveyed the situation and repaired/replaced the burst pipe. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the employees of this company, and would not hesitate to contact them in the future for any plumbing needs that may arise. Great company!

I didn't end up using them.

After I explained the rapid rate of leaking, Ideal plumbing took care of my problem within 48 hours or less. I'm very happy with the results. I trust them with their ability and their cost was reasonable considering the time and extra labor required in capping off the old system. They were clean and pleasant to deal with.

They were okay. They went really quick. They had to tap on my fuse box; they did not mess anything except they disconnected something else. My hot tub was running in use, but it was just not completely clear. I just do not know if I would use them in the future.

Service person was on time, clearly explained needed repair, covered hardwood floors, cleaned up after job completed.

Great work. Very professional. Price seemed way to high though. I had two jobs and used them for the first, but their quote for the second seemed extremely high. I'm happy with the work they did for the first job, but I ended up using a different company for the second job that did it for less than half the price.

I still love the final result, which I attribute to their excellent communication skills as well as the quality of their products and services.

Called to purchase toilet and set up installation date. Gave the company the exact model number of the toilet I wanted. The company said they could have it the next day and we agreeded upon a price. I sent up an appointment for installation. The next day the company called and said it would take 2 to 4 weeks to get the toilet. I said ok I was not in any hurry. Michael from parts said one more thing is that it is going to cost an extra $140 more over the price we agreed upon. I said I will have no canel if they cannot live up to the agreeded upon price. I order the exact same toilet on line from one of the big box stores. It arrived so I thought I would give Ideal plumbing one more chance, so I set up an appointment for installation. On the day of installation they called and wanted to arrive an hour early. I said ok as I had shut off the water to the house and emptied the toilet of all water. The plumber arrived and seemed irritated that I had already started work on the toilet. The plumber was unwilling to use the new parts I had already bought from one of the big box stores. Said his were better but they looked exactly the same except the price was 2 to 3 times higher. The plumber was uncooperative and unwilling to do the job the way I wanted it done. The plumber removed the toilet and put it on the back porch. It is normal to put a rag into the open sewer line to prevent things from falling in while they remove the old wax ring and also to prevent sewer gas from coming back up. He refused to put a rag in the sewer line. The toilet flange has a small chip out of it which could be easily repaired with the spanner flange I had purchased. He said his boss would get mad at him if he used the spanner flange. He wanted to go under the house and cut out the toilet flange and install a new one. I was unwilling to do this so I had to ask the plumber to leave. He presented me with the bill for $150 and I gave him a $15 coupon. I wrote a check for $135 and gave it to him. He wanted me to sign his invoice. I said no and why would I want to sign that? He said it proves that you paid. I said my check would do that. At that point I asked him to leave as the job was done and he had been paid. He would not leave and he insisted that I sign his invoice. I advised him to leave in no uncertain terms and advised him that if he did not leave I would call the sheriff. He finally left. I installed the spanner flange and cleaned out all of the debris that had fallen into the sewer line and completed the installation. Toilet works great but unfortunately I have to send it back and order another one because the bowl is linen colored and the tank is bone colored. Will put the next one in myself and save a big headache. I think a lot of these companies write their own reviews. As another reviewer stated it is funny how when these companies get a poor review almost immediately they will get a great review from a new member or a member who has only 1 review.

We have a fairly high-end and new furnace and air conditioner. We have a six month service contract with them. We used them for plumbing issues. We also used them for vent cleaning. They also energy proofed our attic. They've done pretty much everything for us over the past few years. We don't call anyone else. We call them. They're pretty incredible. When I have something urgent, they show up within a half hour. They do a phenomenal job, and they're reasonable. I've never seen a better company. The quality is perfect with anybody I had. They're nice people too. You can see that they're extremely well trained or factory trained for what they do.

They came out within minutes and solved the problem. I will recapture the cost in water savings in six months. Great investment.

The inspection was thorough but it didn't result in an estimate. I communicated what we wanted and was disappointed that we did not receive the bid we had requested.

Joe, the V.P. of Operations, gave me an estimate for the work and was responsive to all my questions and concerns. Plumbing technicians were friendly, professional and on time. Very satisfied with service. Amazed that Rob, the main plumber assigned to the project, could perform all that work in our tiny crawlspace. We would definitely select Ideal Plumbing, Heating, Air and Electrical again for any future plumbing repairs.

The plumber diagnosed the issue immediately and advised on the necessary measures to be taken. Ultimately, we had to replace several appliances incuding the water heater because it was transmitting particulates.

Quick response after initial call. Plumber was articulate. Quick and clean service.

I called Ideal based on Angie's List and family referral. Given that we had cold showers, I was grateful they were able to come out the same day I called. The repair was quick and efficient, the serviceman was pleasant and not over-bearing like many I've dealt with in the past. As with all "small" repairs, the service charge seems too high (the bigger the repair, the less the cost bothers you since it's the same). However, I don't rate Ideal down for that because I'd expect roughly the same from anyone else (roughly $100 for the call), they have a 40 min. round trip from their office, I get it. Otherwise, no complaints and I would use them again.

Central quoted us over $1800 to replace our water heater, and suggested we spent over $500 to another company to deal with possible water damage. We called around and found several other companies charging $1050-1150 for the heater installation, and went with them. We don't know whether Central's heater would have been a lot better, but disliked their pushiness in wanting to do the work straight away and offering no options. They were very prompt and no other problems. We'd had them in the past and felt overcharged for previous work, so were a bit more cautious this time. Their previous work had also been of fine quality and apart from their pricing, their plumbers were nice, tidy and decent.

Called to buy a furnace but the person who answered advised me that I needed to get a load calculation before they got involved in an estimate. She said it was state law, Title 24. She recommended I call a home services company to do it and then call back. I called three other companies and all of them did the load calculations so I did not have to go to an outside company for it. I ended up buying my furnace from an A rated company on Angie's list.

My interaction with them was very good. It was a regular service. I would recommend them.

They charged a lot of money for the thermostat, and I was not very happy with that. Other than that, everything was fine.

Sunday sink drain clogged, called for an estimate to clear the drain. A simple running a snake down the line. Baird plumbing will do it for $20, but they don't work on the weekend. Spoke to Audrie who connected me to technitian, Howard. Both were very quick in getting back to me and very professional. The only complaint I have is that I was quoted $125 just to show up, and then $268 to run the snake. Almost $400. Even with Sunday, double time, that is a little extreem. I then called Bill Howe, who quoted just under $200 for the same work -I also got a window of 3-6pm on a 2:45pm call. We'll see if the estimate blows up with the work.

They are very nice, very efficient, on time and all the regular customer service stuff is pretty good.

Their price was very reasonable. It was a situation where we had a leaking pipe behind our dishwasher and the workman from Ideal managed to locate the leaky broken pipe. Although it was not really inside he figured out where it was. He had to go outside the house and knock a hole in the stucco wall outside. In fact, he had pinpointed the leak and he had scheduled out for inside work. He perhaps knocked a big hole in the wall with my permission. He told me that he can't guarantee if there was anything there, but he thought it must be right there and asked me if I wanted him to go ahead. I agreed and after taking the location of the broken pipe and after knocking a hole in the wall, he managed to repair the pipe and stop the leak. He did a pretty good job. We were very pleased. He was outstanding all the way down.

I called and the appointment was in a reasonable time. The serviceman arrived on time, clean, professional. Didn't laugh too hard at my attempt to fix it. The house is marble through out and he was careful about moving the washing machine out of the cubbyhole to repair. He gave me information specifically about front loading washers (use of product to clean with, bag small items...). Worth the $130. afterall.
