HoneyDoforYou Handyman Services was established in 2000 to provide repair and installation services for residential and commercial properties. We have over 15 years experience in home and business repair. We have performed many types of repairs including: tile, drywall, concrete, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, construction, remodels, replacements, glass, wood rebuilding, water damage, pet damage, stucco, roof, carpet, appliance, HVAC, media, network to name just a few. Outstanding!
Description of Work: Mr. Parrish was asked to originally install a new attic ladder because the metal pieces were bent in the current ladder. He was able to straighten the old ladder, thus no new one was needed. So, I was able to return the new ladder to Home Depot! Secondly, caulking around two master bath sinks was done and he installed floor tile in front of a dishwasher. All projects were completed with great satisfaction and efficiency. I would definitely use him again.

I was not impressed.
Description of Work: I called for an estimate on 3 large jobs and 5 smaller jobs. I made an appointment for him to call to do the estimate. I rearranged my day to be in at that time, and he didn't show up or even call to say he wasn't coming. Eventually, (over 24hours after appointment) he called and said he'd been delayed doing another job. He didn't explain why he couldn't have called earlier.

WE WERE WORKING AT ANOTHER CUSTOMER LOCATION AND DIDN'T FINISH UNTIL WELL AFTER THE ORIGINAL QUOTE TIME WHEN, UPON RETURNING TO THE OFFICE, WE WERE REMINDED OF THE APPOINTMENT TOO LATE TO CALL THAT EVENING. WE CALLED IMMEDIATELY THE NEXT MORNING AND APOLOGIZED FOR OUR MISTAKE AND ASKED IF SHE WOULD STILL LIKE US TO COME OUT TO LOOK AT THE PROJECT. HOWEVER, SHE SAID SHE WOULD CALL AGAIN IF SHE NEEDED. WE DO PRIORITIZE OUR PROJECTS AND ONE IN PROGRESS DOES TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER A QUOTATION. HOWEVER, WE ACKNOWLEDGE OUR LACK OF CONSIDERATION BY NOT CALLING AT THE TIME AND HOPE GETTING HOME BY 4:00 PM DIDN'T IMPACT HER NEGATIVELY.

HANDYMAN SHOWED UP ON TIME AND DID A GREAT JOB. HE FOLLOWED UP AFTER A COUPLE DAYS TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS STILL WORKING WELL. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH HIS WORK.

MR. PARRISH MADE FIVE TRIPS TO OUR HOUSE, AND WAS USUALLY PUNCTUAL, (LATE ONCE, BUT CALLED AHEAD TO INFORM). HE WAS GOOD AT WORKING AROUND MY SCHEDULE. HE IS VERY COMPETENT IN DIFFERENT AREAS, AS HE IS A TRAINED ENGINEER. I WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN, WHEN SEVERAL JOBS HAVE ACCUMULATED. HE WASN'T TOO GOOD AT CLEANING UP AFTER HIMSELF (DRY WALL SCRAPINGS LEFT ON THE WASHING MACHINE AND FLOOR FOR EXAMPLE), BUT MY TIME IS CHEAPER THAN HIS, SO I GLADLY DID THE CLEANING!
Description of Work: PUT IN A DRAIN IN THE SIDE YARD. HAD TO PRY UP SOME PAVERS AND REPLACE THEM, USING SAND TO LEVEL. REPLACED AN ELECTRICAL OUTLET. GROUTED TILE BEHIND THE KITCHEN SINK. CAULKED AROUND SINK. SANDED, PRIMED AND PAINTED A SMALL AREA OF WALL SHOWING STAINS FROM LEAKS. REPAIRED HOLE IN DRYWALL CEILING AND PAINTED.

ROB PARRISH, THE OPERATING MANAGER, RESPONDED IN A TIMELY AND THOROUGH WAY. THE REASON I DID NOT UTILIZE HIS SERVICES WAS DUE TO MY BACK NEIGHBOR FINALLY DECIDING TO TAKE CARE OF THE REPAIR AND PAINTING OF THE PORTION OF THE FENCE BORDERING HIS PROPERTY. THUS, ALL MY PORTION NEEDED WAS A GOOD PAINT JOB, WHICH A FRIEND CAME OVER AND PAINTED.
