Description of Work: Sears came out first and told me I would need a new Refrigerator! Charged me for house call, anyway. |Gormsen came out and told my I needed a new computer board, which he had in his truck, and installed. |Will never use Sears, again. Will call Gormsen.

Description of Work: I purchased a dryer drive belt from Gormsen. I did the installation myself but after contacting several shops they were the only ones who had the part in stock. They held it for me and I picked it up in their P.B. Shop on Garnet. The woman who sold it to me was very pleasant and I was in and out of the shop in 5 minutes.

Description of Work: They repaired the clothes dryer. They also replaced the dishwasher.

Description of Work: They replaced the relay on my 16 year old refrigerator which had failed. It solved the problem and everything is working again.

Description of Work: The microwave in my Frigidaire microwave/oven combo unit stopped working. Light came on when the door was opened, display worked, but there was no power to the unit. I was having no luck scheduling a service appointment due to the brand and/or the fact that it was a combo unit. I contacted Gormsen Appliance and they immediately scheduled an appointment. The technician arrived on time and was very professional. He came alone, had the tools to remove and replace the unit in the cabinet, and he was finished within 30 minutes. I was initially quoted a $95 diagnosis fee which was either waived or applied (not sure) to the final bill, as the total was a very reasonable $115, far less than I was quoted by anyone else. I would not hesitate to contact Gormsen again for any appliance repair.

Description of Work: When I called for an appointment, I was told there was a $70 fee for a 15 minute estimate. The fee was $70 whether you had work done or not, and was not part of the repair price if they did the work. Disappointed with this and did not expect it with the rating given on Angie’s List.
