After several emails and a phone call. The technician was able to help me resolve the problem and reset the machine. It works great and there was not charge. I will call Gormsen Appliance nect time I have any appliance problems!

Outstanding. Refrig quit on Monday. Called GORMSEN APPLIANCE CO. Axel, the owner, was at our house Wednesday morning. He completely took care of the problems, fixing our 20 year old refrig. and replacing the ice maker. We're back to normal living. We've dealt with Gormsen since 2012 for several appliance problems and they are alway quick to show up and the work has always been 100% quality, with no call backs.

Had a great selection of dishwashers. Ordered the one I wanted. Delivered and installed on the day and time that was agreed on. Expert installation by a friendly and knowledgeable technician. They are coming back today to install a new washing machine!

Went OK, delayed the cost to purchase a new frig.

Came out, told me he couldn't fix it... Charged me.

It went great. Technician diagnosed the problem and replaced parts.

Could not find the problem, machine still acts up but apparently there is no problem!

Ice Maker was replaced. An additional piece had to be ordered, which took longer than I expected.

Excellent overall. I would not hesitate to call them next time.

Well; could not have gone better. They replaced the compressor, evaporator, heat exchanger, pan heater and defrost hd, basically rebuilding the system.

Went well. Price was a bit more than I was hoping. Mostly since dishwashers are pretty cheap these days

Very well. Mr. Gormsen made sure that the repair was necessary.

Brought correct replacement parts based upon info I provided the scheduler. Fixed dryer, asked to use my vacuum to clear away accumulated lint, and finished with the area neat and clean. Very professional. This is the second time I've used this company (previous washer repair) and will continue to do so as they've earned my business.

Great - it was expensive but only because there were three separate problems - needed a new fan, needed a new ice-maker and drain needed to be unplugged. We are very happy with their work.

the washer does fill faster, now. However, the machine was not returned to its original position, and bangs against the doors when in spin mode. Also, I resent being charged for the labor of replacing and removing the faulty "new" valve, when my old valve is still working. I was charged for a 2 man job, because my machine is built into a cabinet. I'm not clear on why 2 men were necessary.

Came on time and even offered options for dealing with the issue which was fixed.

Quickly addressed issue, knowing exactly what problem was. Staff was wonderfull.

Works great. He quickly diagnosed the issues and replaced the defective part. He also found an issue with the water reservoir. However, he didn't have a replacement part with him at the time. Only issue was he indicated they would follow-up and schedule another appointment to fix the water reservoir but I never heard back.. At least I have Ice for the summer!

I saw a coupon for a Gormsen appliance repair on angie's list so I placed a call for their service. I called only because I needed someone relatively quickly, and I wanted to be sure they were available before I committed to their promotion. When I called I explained all this to the service rep, and I was assured I would receive the promotional discount. I had an urgent meeting on the day of the service, so my wife stayed home to receive the repair man. By all account, he was professional and made the repair. When my wife gave me the receipt I realized no discount was applied, so naturally I called Gormsen. The service rep basically told me tough luck. As much as I like to base my assessment of a job purely on the merit of the result, there is definitely something to be said about being fair to your customers. What kills me is that, as I write this review, the promotion is still running. I would like to say I recommend them and that I would use them again, but that is highly unlikely.

We had a freezer problem and I had a stove problem.

These guys knew what they were doing, plus they had the right tools. They pulled out refrigerator (no easy job), replaced the malfunctioning part, then used a portable steamer to melt ice that formed due to backup in the defrost system. They were quick, cleaned up and didn't overcharge. I would use them again for sure.

They came on time, cleaned the dishwasher so that it gets enough water. The dishwasher has been working very well since they serviced it. Thanks.

Initially there was a question about the price of the deal, since their usual service call to my area cost more. They honored the Angie's list price, and performed the work quickly and efficiently.
