Description of Work: They removed an exiting range hood and installed a new one, the removed exiting washer and dryer and install new ones. | |The work was done well and successfully and we are happy with the results. I would at least consider them for jobs in the future. | |The one negative was that we were told would send out two people to do the work (installing the range hood definitely requires two people) and one 1 person was sent. | |I had to do some of the work (holding the range hood in place for measurements of the cord hole and to hold it in place while the screws were put in). | |This resulted in the job taking longer, and since they charge by the hour, the total cost was more than expected.

Description of Work: They changed the request for service date 3 times. We waited 3 weeks(or the day before the service) for them to tell us they did not service Litton even though we put that the oven was a Litton in our request for service.

Description of Work: I had a gas Dryer and a Refrigerator that both needed repairs. The Techs were very skilled, kind and new what to do. It took a while to repair our refrigerator because the control board had to be sent out for repair. The tech was knowledgeable and warned me before that this could be the case. I used the Angie's List coupon to save on the repairs. Phone was always answered when I called, and they called me as soon as they had parts ready to install.

Description of Work: I had them look at my washer (leak) and dryer (didn't work)and determined that due to their age I would be better off buying new ones. Technician was efficient and courteous.

Description of Work: Repaired the fan on my fridge. Axel found the right part beforehand and brought it but the parts warehouse got it wrong so he found the right part and picked it up. He was able to fit in a very tight space behind my fridge. Gave me good advice about "cutting the cable" as well. Great service

Description of Work: The tech replaced the motor that turns the turntable in my 15 year old microwave. Unlike others I have used in the past, Gormsen's tech actually read the discrepancy I sent them and showed up with the part! Use these guys!

Description of Work: They came to diagnose a problem with our washer. I was able to schedule an appt via email and they came over 2 days later. Unfortunately, the cost of the parts to fix the washer were more expensive than purchasing a new one (he showed me the cost on a familiar appliance parts website) so we did not get the work done.

Description of Work: problem was diagnosed and parts were in the service vehicle the technician was pleasant and knew what needed to be done to repair my gas dryer. Would use this company again. When I called to make an Appt, they came out the next morning. Great service.

Description of Work: The reason I don't do these surveys is because I'm not digging out receipts for date and price. It's been a couple of years. They replaced the icemaker in my refrigerator.

Description of Work: We called to have a 52 yr old cooktop and built in oven evaluated. The technician tested both appliances and gave us feedback and information on where we might look for parts. He also gave us some advice on the work needed to replace the dishwasher. He was very informative and professional.

Description of Work: Fixed my Clothes dryer which had stopped heating. If the fix holds, it saves the money to buy a new dryer for awhile. So far so good, we have used Gormsen before and always liked their service.

Description of Work: The service was for my front loading washing machine which was getting a very low flow of cold water. The service man cleared debris from the line's filter trap and replaced the hoses with new/better ones because one was twisted over on itself. | |Problems: As the service guy was pushing the machine back into place he cracked the plastic cover completely across the front loading machine. Then I discovered (after ruining many loads of wash) that he had in fact replaced the hoses backwards so the hot water and cold were reversed. | |It has been since Oct 2014 and though he has looked for a replacement cover for my washer and called me a few times checking in with me, he has not come up with one. |I haven't paid the bill and do not plan on it.

Description of Work: Sears came out first and told me I would need a new Refrigerator! Charged me for house call, anyway. |Gormsen came out and told my I needed a new computer board, which he had in his truck, and installed. |Will never use Sears, again. Will call Gormsen.
