Technician Preston was completely outstanding. He was professional, polite, informative, and effective. He explained what he was doing at each step, and made sure to get my OK for every fix. The end result was excellent--the garage door was fixed in a very timely fashion, plus he inspected and lubricated the entire system. Very well done.

Alex was informative, responsive, knowledgable and efficient! He replaced a broken garage spring and added another to balance our door. I called late Saturday afternoon, and was told someone could come out within the next 2 hours. I was a call 30 min. prior to arrival, and was given a quote. All was very professional!

He came on time and called ahead. He did the work ina timely manner and gave us an assessment of the garage door.

Fine. I don't know anything about fixing garage doors. It needed some parts replaced. It cost considerably more than I was expecting. Can't remember what the cost was right now, but it was considerably higher than what expected at the time. .

In addition to the regular maintenance on the door - The regular openers only needed batteries, which he replaced. We are not sure why my opener programmed in my car stopped working, but he got that working too. He also made the door go lower than it had been going. I did not realize that it didn't go all the way to the ground. Showed me how to work a few things including how to open the door in case of emergency. He asked if I had any questions and answered those that I did have. He was wonderful. I would hire again and recommend them to anyone in need of garage door repair.

It went great, turned out Jason was able to fix the few dents and some other repairs and didn't even try to upset a new door. They were on time, prompt and courteous, hopefully we don't need anymore garage door repairs but if we do we will call Garage Door Medics again.

Read reviews on Angie's List and Living Social. GDM had best reviews of any company in my area. I called GDM at 10 a.m. and GDM had my door repaired by just after 1 p.m. GDM Technician Gene A. was polite, communicated well, explained needed repairs, had the tools and parts in his truck and got the work done quickly. Gene A. answered my questions and took the time to explain what lubes and grease I should use. I'm pleased with GDM and appreciate Gene A.'s professional services.

Beautifully. Ari (spelling?) was excellent and kept us informed about what he was finding as he did the work. Turned out the company that worked on it last (2013) installed the wrong spring, and put the motion detector on the ceiling!!! This was all corrected. This company knows what they are doing

Decided to get new torsion springs for the garage door after getting our regular garage door checkup. I knew it was time. The tech was on time, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The last garage door company we used for our yearly checkup tried to pressure me into getting a completely NEW garage door and opener. The tech "Robert" from Garage Door Medics assured me the door itself was in good shape, the motor was great, and that I just needed new springs. I already knew this was true so I felt I could trust him. He also reprogrammed my keypad for me. Price was very fair.

In brief, about a month after GDM supposedly replaced the spring and checked the garage door opener for any other possible weakness, the opener broke again. I happened to be out of the country at the time, and my tenant---an elderly woman---had no idea who had fixed the problem the first time (i.e., Garage Door Medics), and called in some entirely different company, which resolved the problem at a cost of $150+. When I returned and learned of this, I called Garage Door Mechanics and explained the situation, hoping for some compensation.. However, the person at the other end of the line at GDM said someone would call me back---but no one ever did. I feel I was ripped off by Garage Door Medics.

One week later, Otto came out to install the new garage door and motor. I was impressed that he completed the job by himself, including removing the original garage door. It took him about four hours to complete. He worked the whole time to get the job finished. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. New door looks fantastic and working very smoothly. Definitely recommend Garage Door Medics. Thank you!

Inspected and installed quiet rollers, new springs and ball bearing components. Those parts were 40 years old so I definitely didn't feel I was being oversold. Jon was a great technician. Very professional and honest. Acknowledged what was still working i.e.; overall door opener so no need to replace. Highly recommend him/company. Cleared things out of his way and put everything back. Service was efficient in terms of time too! Gave me guidance on what to purchase to lubricate components and frequency so door performs at it's best.

It did not go well. About a month and a half later on February 12th, the new motor started making noise. I contacted the company and they said because it was over 30 days, there would be an additional $79 to come back out to look at it. Not happy with this company.

This company had advertised a discount in the Angie's List publication for first-time customers. When the gentleman came out to do the job, I confirmed with him that I could receive this discount. Having found the name of the company in the Angie's List publication, my guard was let down. I just trusted what I was told and I signed off on it. The I got hit for 170-something when I was lead to believe it was only going to be 120-something. I really feel like I was taken advantage of. When I called in to fix the mistake, the lady I talked to in the office was very irate and kept giving me the run-around. They have refused to honor the original price that I was lead to believe I would be charged. They had told me that I would receive a hard copy of the receipt but I haven't received that either.

Leo was on time (called 30 mins out), was friendly and fixed the issue no problem. Labor was flat rate + parts. Great experience
