Overall the installation was very smooth. The technican was obviously well qualifed and knew what he was doing. The work was completed quickly.

I will ALWAYS use them and recommend them going forward. What a great technician and hopefully the Company will get great reviews on him because he was awesome. My springs were fairly new (1 year old) and they were buckling and so heavy that the garage door could not be opened easily and dangerous. I had GD Medics come out and they looked at the springs, computed the correct springs that should be on and helped me to figure that out so that I could call back my old garage door service company to have them put the right springs on for free. I will definitely use GD Medics for all my future tune ups and everything related to garages going forward. Thanks for being so great.

Joe was terrific. He arrived on-time, and gave me a very good price quote. I had him start work right away. He explained everything is great detail, which was appreciated. He really knows his stuff. A spring broke during the night, and I had him replace both. The door is now operating perfectly. I would not hesitate calling on Joe again, if I needed.

Otto arrived per schedule and examined the automatic garage door. He fixed the openers and told me that the door needed a tune up. I agreed and he proceeded to do so. He was most pleasant and very clear about what had to be done. I would hire Garage Door Medics again without hesitation.

Jordan kept us informed as to when he would arrive, was extremely friendly and professional and fixed our door quickly. He showed us how to properly maintain the door to prevent future breakdowns and repairs. We will definitely use Garage Door Medics in the future.

Called at 10 am, Joe was out here by 12, who gave me a good estimate. Thought I would get another estimate just to see, ended up calling Garage Door Medics back 30 minutes later. Jeff the service manager even worked on the price for me and Joe was back out that afternoon to do the work. Job was completed quickly and professioanlly. I would highly recommend them if you need any garage door repairs. Rate these guys as an A+.

The worker, Gene A., was very professional and very nice. He was very courteous to me on the phone, showed up when he said he would, and was great about answering all of my questions in a very patient way. I would definitely use this company again. I have absolutely no complaints!

Jorge was here to do general maintenance and replace the keypad. He noticed that the bearings were shot on either side of the door and replaced both of them. We have always had the noisiest door and now it is so very quiet. No other serviceman had ever noticed the bearing problem before.

The technician (Jeff) came out the next morning (Labor Day) on time and with a great attitude. He quickly diagnosed the problem and made recommendations for fixes. Jeff installed the garage door opener we had bought from Sears and taught us how to use it. He also went over the proper maintenance schedule to avoid problems in the future. Jeff correctly estimated the amount of time the job would take, and cleaned up afterward (even offering to remove trash and old parts!). We will definitely call this company again when we need garage door maintenance!

After arriving home from work and parking my car in our garage, I pressed the wall button to close the garage door and heard a horrible sound of the garage door coming off of its tracks. By the time I pushed the button to stop it, half of the garage door was hanging precariously supported only by the screws of the center motor mount. The tracks were bent. Four or five or the rollers that guide the door in the tracks were lying on the floor. The door was jammed three quarters of the way down the track, and looked like it might come crashing down at any moment on our cars. It really looked hopeless. Visions of spending thousands of dollars to replace the door flashed before my eyes. I raced to the computer, found Garage Door Medics on Angie's List, and even though it was after 7:30 pm, a real live person answered immediately when I called. After I explained the problem, he said a technician could come out that night for an additional charge, but that if the tech came in the morning, it would be cheaper. He even arranged to have the technician come to our house at 6:00 am to ensure the garage was fixed early enough for us to get to work and school on time. But, after looking at the mangled mess of a garage door, that I was sure would have to be replaced, and deciding it was not worth the risk of having the door fall off in the night, I called back, and arranged to have a technician come out immediately. It was after 8:30 pm that I made the service call, and the technician arrived within an hour and a half of my call. He immediately inspected the door, and assured me he could repair it. He arranged a fair price, for less than originally quoted, and set to work. Within an hour, the door was back on track, the bent parts repaired, the motor mount shored up with a support beam, the door aligned, and its moving parts lubricated. We tested it, and it was quieter and sounded more solid than it has ever sounded. The technician clearly took pride in his work, and it showed in the result. From start to finish, this was great service.

I joined Angies list specifically to find a garage door repair company, because it is impossible to choose one from the wider internet, there are just far too many fly-by-night companies out there. It was money well spent. I picked Garage Door Medics because they had the best reviews on Angies list.They sent a technician (Jorge) the same day I called. He phoned ahead to let me know his arrival time, and he arrived well within the time window they gave me. He weighed the doors and determined the existing springs were inadequate, which I had suspected. He replaced those, and repaired the stripped plastic gear in the opener. He also lubricated everything and checked all the mounting brackets. He knew what he was doing and was very professional. The work was done quickly, and the door works better than ever. The price was very reasonable. I am getting these guys back to do more work on the other doors in my garage. I highly recommend them.

Overall, a great experience in getting the job done. Everything was efficiently accomplished.

I called them at noon today, and they quoted me an arrival time of 1pm to 4 pm and they would call when they were on the way. I have been waiting by the phone and they have yet to call me. It is now 4:30 pm. I called them and they said they could not locate the service rep. They advised I could make an appointment for tomorrow, and I am not satisfied with that.

Went very well. Garage door opens smoothly and quietly. Technician (Shaun) explained in detail what he was doing and finished everything in about 1.5 hrs. I am pleased with the results and would use them again if necessary.

The guy game me his personal cell phone number so that I can call him if I have any issues. I had a question for him and he came right out to help me. I will have them again in a heartbeat. They were friendly and professional. They worked fast. They did a perfect job. They did more than what I expected them to do. They went over and above what I thought they would do. I was very pleased with their work. They were courteous. They knew their job well. I would rate them an A+. I will definitely use them again in the future. One person could have done this job but they came with 3 people to make sure everything was right.

Jorge had all the repairs done very quickly, approximately 2 hours and my door was working better than new, much quieter. I would recommend Garage Door Medics, on time, with all parts and tools to do and finish the job in one visit. Took all the damaged parts with him, I didn't have to deal with them on trash day. Expert work at a reasonable price.

I made an appointment with them a few days ahead. However, they didn't show up, and there was no follow-up phone call to apologize for the missed appointment.

I hope this was just a busy day for them.

Couldn't have been better. My automatic door opener malfunctioned and I called to make a service appointment. Instead, the receptionist talked me through the problem, helped me trouble shoot it over the phone, and I ended up simply changing a door spring. She knew exactly how the system worked, including the sensors, and what to do. You can bet that next time I have a door problem, I'm calling these people!

I like their work. They are very professional and prompt. They have done a good job replacing a broken spring (in 2009) and tuning (in 2009 and 2010) the garage door. Prices are not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. They accepted the $5 Angie's List coupon without any problems.

They were professional and friendly but their price was a little high compared to other places we looked at. They were telling us that we could get the rebate for an energy efficient door but we found that the garage has to be insulated which ours is not. I don?t know if they weren?t informed or if they were just trying to sell us a more expensive door because they were incorrect about that.
