Good experience overall! I was happy that I was able to call after hours to schedule the appointment. The day of the appointment the tech Gene called and informed that he was available to come sooner. After trouble shooting he informed me what the problem was and provided a cost estimate. Even though I had forgotten to print the coupon and leave it at home, Gene honored it once I gave the details over the phone. Great customer service! This is the first time I used Garage medics and will definitely use them again should a need arise.

Ricky took my email and called me right away and set an appointment right away. It went great Alan was very efficient and prompt.

The tech replaced the broken springs in the garage door with properly sized springs. He was very professional and courteous. Very quick to respond after the initial phone call. I would totally recommend Garage Door Medics to everyone.

Garage Door Medics were out within 24 hours, and immediately diagnosed the problem on this older Sears door. They quickly located the part and had it sent to the house. The day after receiving the part, they returned and promptly installed it. Everything is working fine.

Jeff showed up, on time, very polite and professional. He took one look, grabbed his tools and fixed the problem! He also corrected the previous installers sub par work! Afterwards, he checked the operation of the door and opener. He also lubed the moving hardware parts and told me where I could buy the proper lubricants for the door. He did not try and upsell me on anything I did not need! If I ever need any Garage Door work done in the future....I am calling Garage Door Medics!

They came out the same day we called, and even though the receptionist claimed that the service we needed was not covered under the coupon we had purchased, their tech said that it was and fixed the problem quickly. We were impressed with their promptness and efficiency!

Had an appointment with Jon. He was on time and very professional and knew a lot about how garage doors worked. There was never an attempt to upsell me on anything. I did get a discount by mentioning Angie's List. I am impressed with the workmanship. My garage door was fully inspected and all the seals were replaced and steel bearings were installed. The garage door is now good as new and I feel the money I paid was well worth it.

After the tune up I was still having problems and they said I needed a new garage door. I bought it and they installed it. I am still having the same problems. Now they are telling me I need another new door because the current door is too heavy, but they are the ones that installed

The problems haven't happened since the service call. It's so much quieter now! Rick W., the technician, did a great job.

Door works consistently now regardless of the weather. I bought a lot of the extra services offered.....adding wireless keypad and upgrading the system overall. It was expensive but since I didn't get other bids I can only say the price seemed high. But the door works and I enjoy the remote keypad and appreciate that he suggested it.

I really appreciated finding company with good reviews that was also available 24/7 to make repairs. Coming home to a broken garage door spring on Saturday at 6PM and having it fixed by noon on Sunday was wonderful. We were scheduled from noon to 4PM on Sunday, but Gene called in the morning to check if we would be available earlier which we were. I haven't done this type of work before so I wasn't sure what the price would be, we agreed on a price for the springs of around $350 which included a 10% Angie's list discount. After replacing the springs, Gene noted that the door was starting to crack where one of the struts across the width of the door had been damaged. This damage was from the prior owners, where it looked like they had caught the door on their car as it was opening or closing. Gene was able to replace this 17 foot long piece of metal and hopefully this avoids further damage to the door. Gene was a pleasure to work with, he communicated clearly and explained the options for various repairs pointing out what should be replaced to avoid more extensive damage and what could wait.

GD Medics were responsive to my initial call, easy to schedule and great on the job. After taking a look, they attempted 1 or 2 no/low cost fixes to my problem and only then did we talk about options. There were no pressure sales and I felt I had full control and the time I needed to make a decision. We installed a new opener and had some tune-up work done. We are very happy with them and will definitely call them first if there is a problem in the future.

There was a missing customized piece (the bottom seal) that was ordered but did not come on time. Not an issue because the rest of the work was done beautifully. Also we had not anticipated that the door pattern (trying to match the old) was now wider than before, and the top outside trim now had to be reordered as well since the final cut was based on the old pattern width. When the required pieces finally arrived from the manufacturer Otto was on time as scheduled. He removed unnecessary wood frame trim and re-adjusted the door to align with the new wider pattern. It came out perfectly with the extra large bottom seal fitting better than imagined. I have a very customized garage and Otto even took time to make an additional adjustment to compensate for a speaker in my surround sound setup that needed to be placed where the tension coils were. He was very detailed and accommodating ensuring all hinges lubed and all surfaces wiped clean of any smudges or fingerprints. This is not the first time I've dealt with them and they have provided the same level of attention and workmanship every time. I can not recommend Garage Door Medics enough.

They were awesome. I would use them again if I need to. It took them a half an hour to complete the work. They knew what they were doing and were sharp. They were smooth, quick and it was good quality.

Happened at about Noon today. I called GD Medics at about 1:00 PM. Avi was there by 3:00 PM and the garage door was repaired by 5:00 PM. Avi pretty much knew that it was a broken spring before we even got the garage door up. He replaced the single spring system with double springs and the garage door now works better than new. He also replaced rollers and cables and bearings. He really knew what he was doing and I am very happy with the end result.

We just moved into a 45 year old home with the original wood 3-car garage doors. Given that the property was a rental in recent years, we wanted to check on the condition of the doors and openers and see whether or not they needed repairs or replacement. I responded to a postcard from Garage Door Medics and called them early in the morning two days ago. I don't remember the name of the lady who I spoke with, but she was unfailingly cheery and friendly, took my information and set up an appointment for the following afternoon. I actually received two phone calls from techs who were in the area earlier than my scheduled appointment time, but I wasn't at home yet, so I declined their offer. As soon as I got home, I called the tech who placed the most recent call and he showed up at our house in less than ten minutes. Preston Uecker knows his stuff! No sales talk, no upselling; just an honest appraisal and explanation of what needed to be done and why, what should be done and why it could be postponed, and what didn't need to be fixed or replaced. He told us that as long as we kept the wood garage doors in good condition, we wouldn't have to replace them. It's a relief to know that all we have to do is repaint them! The maintenance and repairs were done in 45 minutes. Since we only received one remote, I asked Preston if he could get me an additional one for our opener - and he had one on his truck! The price was reasonable, service was responsive and Preston was awesome! I highly recommend Garage Door Medics!
