Garage Door Medics

Event hough our service request was not an emergency, Garage Door Medic still made an appointment for us on Memorial DAy. Our service technician Gene first inspected the different components of the garage door and the garage door opener and found that everything was in working condition except perhaps the end bearing plates were loose and worn down and not properly functioning. The garage door opener would sense that and would turn off the motor by default midway during opening. He was able to replace the end bearing plates and adjust the garage door opener all within 1 hour. He did a great job and did not try to sell us more service work on the garage door as had previous garage door service technicians. The cost of the parts and repair was reasonable. We were satisfied with his service and would use him again when needed.

They called to set up the appointment. Arrived when they said they would. They were quick and efficient and I did not think the garage door could be as quiet as they made it.

John thoroughly went through my garage door; determined the source of the loud noise; fixed it, and thoroughly examined all parts of my garage door system. checked out cause for door not closing! Found last contractor, did not use the correct replacement springs. Wood door to heavy for those size springs that were installed; NOT SAFE! Very dangerous balance of door and springs. All NAVY SPOUSES, with active duty member at sea; highly recommend the honesty of this company and the tech, Leonardo for the work. I spent 36 years as a Navy Spouse. He tested two different size springs to make sure the ones he left me with permanently were the correct ones for safety and balance. Totally honest and compassionate to the dangers of Garage doors. Would use many times over!

I called that morning and amazingly got an appointment the same day. The work was efficient and professionally handled. The service tech (Jeff) was great. He gave me a lot of information about my kind of garage door motor and an estimate of how much more useful life it had on it. I was very pleased.

We called Garage Door Medics in the morning and they were out that afternoon. Brent was our technician an he explained what our problem was with the noisy doors, replaced the new parts and the new keypads. Will definitely recommend them to anyone needing garage door repairs. Very professional, and the price was not bad for the work he had done.

It was done quickly and efficently. Leonardo arrived promptly the same day I called. Once at my home he explained everything very clearly and made recommendations concerning the repair or replacement of my old opener. It would not open which was odd because I had just had another company there who was supposed to have fixed it.

The Tech (Jeff Williams) was very professional and fully explained the problems. My 13 year old garage door now works like a new.

When I called to make the appointment I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they could come the next day - fantastic. Our serviceman, Alex called about 15 minutes prior to arriving as they said he would. Alex was extremely courteous and explained exactly what he was going to do after first asking questions about why we had called and if there were any specific issues. He explained several things about our door and then proceeded to tell us about several options. He was very forthcoming about us not having to spend hundreds of dollars at this particular visit. There was absolutely no pressure to do anything major to an older door opener. Our garage door works great and is VERY quiet. We are very pleased with both Alex and Garage Door Medics and we will be using them again.

Our job was the first one of the morning, and the service man (Dion) called ahead to advise us that he was headed to our house and would be there in 20 minutes. He made it in 10. Dion gave our Martin glass/aluminum 17' door a thorough inspecton, including the opener. All systems checked out fine, but he did a complete lubrication of all rollers, springs, and surfaces making an already quiet door almost completely silent. Overall, Dion was very courteous, punctual, and professionally knowledgable. Definitely a positive experience. We recommend Garage Door Medics.

Although they ran into trouble with the original side support wood (rotten in places. They purchased new lumber & replaced it & hung the door successfully! They were courteous & professional & kept me informed

Called and the phone was answered by Alana who was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. She listened to what I needed and said a technician would be out that afternoon. At around 1pm Leonardo shows up. The man knows his stuff: he quickly went about his work and diagnosed the problem. He is also very patient: he explained several times the options and costs. Once an option was picked, he had the work done within an hour. The sensors work, and the door opens and closes much more quietly. He also arranged all the cords and plugs in such a way as to make it them nearly disappear: no more unsightly mess!

We are very pleased with the garage door tune up service provided yesterday by Hector Arroyo of Garage Door Medics. He called ahead to let us know when he would arrive, was on time, explained the tune up process, and did the job expediently. When he had finished the tune up Hector explained what he had found - no problems with our 1 year old Martin garage door - and explained how I could lubricate the hinges if needed before the next tune up. He was very professional and polite. Great job to Hector and thank you for the discount.

Very responsive. Alex was our installer and was very helpful. He worked around several other contractors working at our house that particular day. Everything works great and our garage doors are now very quiet when operating, which was our main goal.

Jacob Hicks was professional and informative. He inspected all components of the door and door opening functions and I learned a lot.

It went perfectly. Dino is an experienced, conscientious professional. He reflects very well the company's goal of providing the best service possible to its customers. He gave us excellent advice on garage door openers relative to our garage door size, type, age and our plans for renovation of the garage in the future. The replacement of the springs was completed excellently and efficiently. I have no doubt that we will have Garage Door Medics back again should we have need of their services.

When the tech came, he worked for 2 days trying to get it right. He was nice but he couldn't figure out the problem. He also didn't put the rollers on correctly - I had to fix it myself after he left. He charged me an additional $50 to move the track. The tech said that the clickers weren't good - the frequency was being used by another company and we had to put in a booster for each of the three doors. Then we were told we had to get new clickers. After we got 8 new clickers, things started going badly. The boss had to come out and finish the job. The boss said that we needed to reduce our clicker amount to 6 (two would be our cars). He was still having problems. He called the manufactuer who said that the door only allows for 7 clickers (5 remotes and 2 being our cars). We also didn't get the outdoor pad either, even though we had a pad before. They should have known the limitations of my garage door opener.

They did a good job. There was a quick turnaround after I purchased the deal and they scheduled me very quickly.

Service performed by Leonardo Vazquez. He called before arriving and arrived as scheduled. Explained the service and what he would be doing, very professional and friendly. He ended up adjusting the door closure and lubricated all hinges and bearing along with the track. Very satisfied with the service and would recommend them in the future.
