Alex was very professional and friendly. He only recommended required repairs and didn't try and inflate the bill. The service call was for a spun cable and Alex alerted me to the wrong springs that were installed by the company that installed our garage doors; Mesa Garage Doors. The spring lost its tension and spun the cable off the wheel. The springs were too "light" for the weight of the doors causing the openers to work too hard. The doors open and close much better and the openers are also quieter. I would easily recommend Garage Door Medics to anyone that needs garage door repair.

Upon agreement with all suggestions, the work was performed in a timely, professional, and complete manner. The technician was very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in doing what was right and fair. This company would definitely be called again.

I scheduled the appointment which was given in a 4 or 5 hour window (already a bad sign for a busy mom). Then on the designated day they never called one hour ahead as promised so I was in the backyard with my child and did not hear the knock at the door. I called them at the end of the timeframe and they claimed they had the wrong phone number and did come out. My car was parked in the driveway, I think they could have tried harder to call over the fence. Anyway, I rescheduled and again was given a very long timeframe to be available (another wasted day). This time they called right at the end of the timeframe and finally showed up very late in the day. The service man was very nice and polite. He did some adjustments and sprayed some lubricant here and there, made some suggested optional repairs which I declined and left.

They were pleasant to work with, and did what they promised. The cost of the job was more than I had expected, but I don't think they gouged me. They first came out and replaced much of the door hardware, and moved the spring to a safer and more appropriate location. This fixed the problem only temporarily. I had to call them back, whereupon they determined that the opener is too weak to do the job. I approved installation of a better opener, and the door is now working smoothly.

Everything went well, especially in comparison to a previous company I had used! The technician was friendly, courteous and worked quickly. He was knowledgeable and offered useful suggestions without seeming to be aggressively "up-selling". Very pleased- all problems were resolved and the door works great.

The garage door was a little bit of a problem to fix. The technician had to bolt down one side so that it wouldn't rattle and cause the door to spontaneously open. But he fixed it at no extra charge. Then I asked for a new remote and a keypad. It was great! He was prompt and pleasant. I'd recommend them to anyone.

We'd been having problems with our remote garage door openers working inconsistently (sometimes not at all), despite inserting new batteries. The door opener had also gotten pretty noisy. Robert arrived within the time frame promised. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. (Interesting that he used to be an operating-room tech in a hospital - guess that makes him a true garage door medic!) Robert immediately noticed that our opener module's antenna wire was looped oddly - when he straightened that, the remote openers worked just fine. He then inspected the motor chain (which badly needed grease) as well as the hinges, rollers, drums and bearings. Some of the hinges were visibly cracked, and the rollers were very worn. (I supposed homeowners should look at these things, but I've never done so!) He gave me a quote on costs, which was very reasonable, and replaced the worn and damaged parts. He then gave me excellent advice on what kind of lubricants to use (and what NOT to use) on the various parts, as well as how much to use and how often. The job was completed within an hour. Our door works much more quietly, and we now know how to maintain it properly.

John Kirby was the technician. He was on time promptly, respectful, professional, and helpful. He gave my garage door a complete review. He was not able to repair the door on this visit because it needed a part. However, he cleaned and lubricated the entire chain drive and other parts. He thoroughly explained what I needed to get the door working properly. I would use this service and company again.

He worked hard to please me and cleaned up very well. He was very nice. He replaced my old spring and end bearing. After that he tested everything and discovered that I needed a new sensor. He called his supervisor and even allowed me to listen while they spoke. He was very up front with everything. When I asked him if he would replace my old batteries in my remote he showed me how to open the remote and told me what batteries I needed and showed me how to install them. I appreciated that he took the time to show me.
