It was excellent. They did a good job. They were quick and prompt. I will absolutely use them again.

He showed up on time, was super nice and patient. I've never had the garage door serviced before so he took the time to explain everything to me - how it worked-in detail, how to reset the outdoor code, replace the light bulbs. He was also very patient with my older parent who was there and answered all of those questions. He also didn't try to up-sell anything and he even recommended that we could wait on replacing the weather strip at the bottom because the previous owner bent the metal it is attached to and so we'd have to buy that too. Also, there is a crack in the cement at the middle of the door that rose up a bit so that pushed up on it so we should probably look at fixing that first.

Will be using Garage Door Medics for regular servicing on our garage door from now on. Wonderful, friendly, expert service, Adam Kenyon is the best!!

Caleb did a very thorough job in repairing the broken cable on our Martin garage door. He also tuned and inspected the door and told us about how the mechanisms worked and what to watch out for in the future. He was exceedingly professional and meticulous. I would definitely recommend this company. They were responsive to our call on a Saturday and were able to get the technician to our home on Sunday. They called three times to give us a close window of technician arrival. High praise for this company and for Caleb.

Caleb was thorough in his instruction and it was a pleasure to have a serviceman that did a thorough inspection and did not pressure us to purchase any unnecessary equipment at this time. When i do need repairs, I will definitely call Garage Medics and ask for Caleb

Everything went good, no complaints. I was very happy with the job. Very professional, neat, and courteous.

Caleb was great. I now know way more about my garage doors than I thought there was to know! He explains everything brilliantly, and door is working fine, for now... and whisper quiet for the first time! Truth is we have a 22+ year old system so, its only a matter of time until springs/motor need replacing, but I will call and request Caleb when that time comes.

It went well. I am very pleased that the doors no longer make so much noise when they go up and down. They also used to stock part way up or part way down. That has stopped. Very pleased.

woI initially purchased the $39.00 tune up special. After completing the work, there were still a few noise issues. Tom the technician educated me on the issues and the potential problems which confirmed what I had been told it could be. He wrote up an estimate for the the repair work if I wished to have it done. He was able to complete it then and there and I did not have to schedule a second appointment. He was pleasant, helpful, quick, and clean. I am very with the work completed.

I went to leave the house on Christmas Eve Afternoon and was greeted by a broken spring on my garage door. I tried to lift the door manually and strained my back in the process. We have used a local Garage Door Company (highly rated on Angie's list) in the past, so I called Garage **** Pros to help me out and sent them a message via Angie's List. They did not call back. We had one car in the garage and one outside when the spring broke, so we had transportation for Christmas Day. On Dec 26th, I called them again and sent another message. It got to be noon and after another answering machine message and no reply, I called Garage Door Medics. Bridget answered the phone. She was very friendly and said someone could come over right away. Jacob arrived within one hour, and called from up the street to let me know he was almost here. Jacob replaced both springs and in checking out the overall door noticed the bearings were about shot. One had been making some noise for a while. He replaced those too and serviced the door. He was done within an hour. Jacob was also very friendly and showed me a couple of things about the proper operation of a garage door. Garage Door Medics had my door fixed within two hours of my initial phone call. After they left, my wife finally got a return phone call from the folks at Garage ****Pros. Much to little, much too late. We will be with Garage Door Medics from now on.

Caleb arrived right on time, had called 40 minutes prior. He was very professional, courteous and fun. He really knows the business and took care to do everything perfect and explained what he was doing along the way. He pointed out all the reasons why it was a good decision to replace my old opener now. He cleaned up after himself. I would certainly call again when I need such services.

Tech showed up on time as scheduled. Informed me he could not do the tune up as scheduled due to the fact that I had an inappropriate spring installation that was causing the door to malfunction. Stated that the spring replacement would cost $390 or approx. 10X what I had signed up for. I reluctantly agreed to have to door repaired even though the price seemed excessive.

The most important thing is that the technician provided clear and convincing explanations of how garage door technology had evolved since our door was installed and last had maintenance. No hard sell. He did the rehab the same day-- working quickly and efficiently. Mechanically the garage door is as good as new. Only "problem:" we are still not quite used to having a garage door that doesn't rattle half the house when opening and closing.

I had to pay an additional $99 for emergency service but the prompt service was worth it. They showed up and fixed it within a couple hours of me calling. They even threw in a free tune up. Overall great service.

Great Job!!! I called this morning and they were able to send Preston out to repair my garage door today at 5:00 pm. Very competent, knowledge and professional. I could not ask for anything more. Estimate was reasonable and Preston did not try to up sell me. If we need service again, We will definitely use Garage Door Medics. I will recommend them to anyone needing service Thanks again

I bought a garage door inspection on Angie's List for $39. Great Deal. I scheduled this once and they didn't show. I schedule for today between 8-12. By 12:30 no one was here so I called and had someone here by 1:30. This was inconvenient as I had another repairman for another problem coming at 1 today, so they overlapped each other and caused some challenges for me to over see all that was being done. The first technician that took a look said everything was pretty good and probably didn't need to have anything done except a few adjustments and a spring that would cost $25. After the 2nd technician took a look, he showed rollers, bearings, drums that were rubbing and deteriorating that needed replacing. With the replacement of the drums and bearings we didn't need the $25 spring because that issue was resolved with the drum and bearing installation. Not sure if they were playing good tech/bad tech with me to get me to do extra work, but I need a safe garage door and didn't have time to wait for someone else to have it done, so I went with the service. For a little more, I probably could have gotten brand new, I just don't know. They seemed knowledgeable and helpful.

The second visit was to adjust a sensor that had slightly moved and he was gracious about fixing it and explaining to me how to check it in the future.

Work went great. Don showed up right on schedule, explained what he was doing and gave me some tips to prevent future problems. Our garage door works great and quieter than ever.

Technician Preston called ahead, as promised, and arrived on time and early in the "appointment window." He did an excellent job explaining the issue (I could see the spring was broken but hadn't thought much about the track rollers). He had the repair done in about 45 minutes, and didn't mind me watching - explained every step. Cleaned up completely (it's not a messy job, I grant.) GD Medics' price seemed in line with the costs explained by the other places I called, although I did not get any other formal estimates. I rated them a "B" on price simply because I don't think it was a sale nor was it significantly cheaper than other firms. This is not a negative to me. All in all I am very happy with their work!

Great! He was on time, quickly found the cause of the jamming problem. He performed general maintenance & adjustments. He was most friendly & helpful.
