Gene is great. This is the second time I have had him come out in a few years. He is very helpful and explains everything well. Professional and punctual!

Bryan was awesome. He was very courteous and professional. He explained everything to us and even took the time to ask us if we had any additional questions or concerns. The work was done quickly and he was not pushy in trying to get us to buy any additional services. I called Garage Door Medics in the afternoon and Leo was at my house within an hour. He gave me a good price quote and I had him start work right away. He explained everything is detail, which was appreciated. A spring broke during the night, and I had him replace both plus some other worn out parts. The door now works better than it ever has.

The repairman was responsive, polite, worked quickly and quietly, and the results were excellent.

Very well, made suggestions how to improve door performance

Over the Labor Day weekend, our garage door spring broke-this is a two car garage door. If you have a roller door of this size, this means that your cars are locked within the garage. Thankfully, Garage Door Medics is a 24/7 operation. A quick call to them and a technician was out within the hour. Joel B., our technical, was great. He called when he was on his way, quickly assessed the situation when he arrived and resolved the issue. He also adjusted the door when he performed the check up. The door works better than when it was first installed. They will also send us reminder for annual door maintenance. In addition, the price was fair and there was just a nominal charge for the holiday weekend emergency service. We would definitely hire them again.

They were great. They showed up on time, and did a complete rebuilt on the garage door. There were a lot of issues with it.

I thought my home warranty coved it, but Jeff came out and explained to me that the door was not covered by the home warranty. He gave me several options on how to fix the problem with the door without have to get a whole new door. He gave a courtesy call before and he showed up on time. Very helpful and very courteous.

came and interested not in fixing door but got a lot of questions "who lives there?", "are you live alone?" and all similar which were repeated and repeated while he worked. Garage door was not worked properly after they fixed already next day, later i noticed that door handle hanging weird way, checked and found that door lock missing ...after a month garage door not worked at all. Had promised guaranty for done job but they requested to pay again , even for visit 99 $, also for garage door lock which was stolen.Disappointed, LOST 520 $

They did a good job. I remember being real impressed with them pulling down the old 50 year old wooden door. We were trying to figure out if we were going to get it down. He basically pulled his truck into the garage because he had a metal rack over the bed. He released the screw and it dropped right down. He just fastened it on and took right off with it. I was wondering how one guy was going to take this garage door down, I couldn’t figure it out. He was good. I was happy with the price, I don’t remember what it was.

BEWARE !!!!. Bought a $49 deal from Angie's List....are you listening Angie? Jimmy Love from Garage Door Medic came out for a basic tune-up. Told my wife he couldn't adjust, we needed new springs, $399. She came inside and got me. Jimmy now said they had a "spring special" for $299. Told him that I would get a 2nd opinion and if I found that he was bs-ing me I would post reviews, he said I should, so I am. Called Harvey's Doors, 2 guys came out, said springs were fine, also made an adjustment to the motor. Special ordered a bottom weather strip for the base of the door which no question it needed, will install on follow-up visit. Called Garage Door Medic and told the scheduler my story and that I wanted $49 back. He said he would pass it along and someone would call me. Guess what didn't happen? Tomorrow, I'll do yelp and what eve else I can find. Point of story, don't be stupid like me and call Jimmy Love at Garage Door Medic. Go with a reputable company like Harvey's in Palm Desert. Reading this Jimmy? Angie?

Our Technician was Gene Anell. He was extremely courteous and very efficient. Upon his arrival he listened to our needs, provided options and answered our questions. Gene was very quick and thorough. He also went above an beyond by taking tie to help ensure our automobiles leaned the new door signal. I would recommend Gene and Garage Door Medics at the highest level.

All of the servicing and repairs were done perfectly and to my satisfaction. I had to have a similar tuneup and repair (springs and rollers) done in Texas and I was very pleased that the price in San Diego was comparable to the price in Texas. Perfectly! I couldn't have been more pleased. Preston was not only knowledgeable, he was thorough in explaining what we needed and why we needed it, in a way that I could understand. After spending significant time with me, I asked him if he wouldn't mind speaking to my husband on the phone, just to make sure he received the information, too. Preston was happy to accommodate. Before he left, he recommended for our safety that we don't use the door until we had it fixed. He left us with an estimate and options. He didn't once try to sell me something we didn't need, and even told my husband it wasn't necessary to buy a new motor, which someone may have convinced us we needed. Honest, on-time (twice), hard-working, thorough, and he was kind to my dog..Preston moved items that were in the way in our garage, including weights. He is the best! Ricky was responsive and polite. I called the office after 5:00 p.m., expecting to leave a message. Instead, I got Ricky on the phone. He called Preston, who was already off for the day, let him know to order the part I needed, then phoned me back within 15 minutes to set the appointment for the next afternoon. My 14 yr-old garage door is working great again. This has been the most pleasant home service experience EVER!

I asked for something that was not in the big deal, but I still was a little bit surprised at the final price. My wife was the one he was interacting with and not me. So, I ordered the service, but I wasn't interacting with the provider. I believe they came when they said, and it could be that he warned my wife what the charge would be. Because I needed to have more remote controls operationally programmed, which was not part of the deal, and get them working. I am probably going to say all positive things except about the final price, because there may have been a misunderstanding about what he charged. For price, something was not quite matching up as well as I would have liked. I did not have an issue in terms of responsiveness, so that would mean they got back pretty quickly and came out within a reasonable period of time. My wife was not out there for very long, we can speculate whatever amount of days that you want. In terms of time frame, I think I was impressed with how fast they got out there. On overall, for my wife there was some things about that she felt there was too much evidence of lubrication, after he came out that was staining the garage door. I do remember that. I would have reservations about recommending them.

Preston was great! Professional, knew his stuff, and intent on checking EVERYTHING before leaving. Would definitely use again and recommend a yearly check.
