Installation was great, fast, and painless (other than paying for it, of course!). The tech on-site was polite and knowledgeable. He walked me through the options available and then did exactly what we talked about. The garage door works perfectly now and is so much quieter! For about the same cost he installed much more modular system so now if something breaks, I can just replace that part instead of the whole thing.

The result is ... Beyond my expectations. The opening and closing functions seems much more quiet. The garage is very snappy and open and closed without hiccups. I am very please with the job.

The two gentlemen that arrived for the repair were very professional yet friendly. They got right to work inspecting the door and all its components in its entirety. The first thing they did was make a repair to the middle bottom of the door which was sagging. My particular garage door is made of wood panel sections and is a roll up. Once that repair was made (at no charge!) they set to work replacing the springs (of which one was broken) and the two bairings which were badly damaged. They also replaced one of the wheels on the track. Then they lubricated everything! Wow. This door has never run so smoothly and quietly! It was a lot of money but considering that I don't think the door has ever been serviced after 24 yrs and would run around $2500 to replace with a similar door....I am very happy. Oh! They even checked the opener and made an adjustment to the load measurement and replaced the lightbulb for me. Loved these guys.

The technician, Gene, was very punctual, professional, and called in advance. He was very experienced and was able to completely answer all of my questions. I know I've got an older Sears system and expected some advice to repair or replace things - but was really hoping that he could at least do a few minor adjustments to my opener system to keep it working a little better and get me by until I'm ready to replace the system later this year - GD Medics did their inspection and minor lubrication of the door but wouldn't even take a look at my opener mechanism, though were happy to quote me pricing to replace my mainspring, cables, and entire opener system. My son and I had to adjust the opener mechanism and get it working better ourselves later. I can't complain all that much about GD Mechs though - they are professional, on-time, and do what is covered by the Angie's List special, but they definitely do seem interested in selling you a whole new system.

Amazing. Quick response, great service, the only thing I wish the installer would have done was complete the wifi opener setup. But they were so good I would recommend and use them again and time.

The service turned out fine as expected. Everything was perfect. I am not aware of any warranty because all he did was adjust it. There was an extra charge for additional work that I had done. It was either an additional $20 or $30 to the Big Deal cost.

Sam was the tech sent to my house. He was awesome! I was expecting to pay less based on an advertised price in the Angie's List Monthly magazine, however, Sam explained the type of springs used for my door were not covered by the special. He was honest and sincere and very quick. I would recommend him to anyone!

Avi does great work. I would recommend him and his company to anyone who needs garage maintenance or repair. He called ahead, was on time, quickly assessed the problem, and was able to provide an exact estimate for the work. I told him to go ahead with it, and he explained exactly what he was doing. The door had not been serviced since it had been originally installed and has worked flawlessly since he took care of it. It wasn't just that he did great work, but he's also a really great guy and took pains to help me understand what he was doing. He worked quickly, left everything neat and clean and working perfectly. Highly recommended!

Work was completed about 2 years ago now. My recollection is that they were very punctual and pricing was fair. Quality seemed okay but the rails have started to bend a little bit again 2 years ago. Not sure if it's the very best system that they put in.

Another great service call from Garage Door Medics! I called on Friday afternoon, and was given an appointment window the next morning. I was told I would receive a call half an hour before the technician arrived and sure enough, I did. Brent was courteous, professional and friendly. He checked out our garage door opener and then re-installed a header bracket, using lag bolts that are far more secure than the nails installed by the previous owners. He then helped us program our garage door openers in our cars, so we are automated and ready to go. I was happy to use a $25 off coupon from Angie's List magazine. I highly recommend Garage Door Medics to anyone!!

I purchased a garage door tune-up through Angie's List as my garage door was having issues. Fact is, its had issues for the past 3.5 years. I just remodeled the garage and now it was time to address this door. Even though I was going out of town for a wekk and didn't want the service done until I returned, the company called me and emailed me through Angie's List as advertised. When I returned from my trip, I called the company and scheduled my appointment. Alex S. called me about 30 minutes before arrival, as the company said the technician would do. He arrived on time and ready to work. He checked out my door and within a few minutes had the issues identified that was causing my problems. A misaligned track and the wrong size springs was the diagnosis. I decided to have the springs replaced. While adjusting the door after the spring install, Alex noticed the worm gear in my door closing unit was worn as a result of having the wrong springs for many years (don't know how long, was like that when i bought the house) in 2011. He showed me the damaged bushing in the worm gear and made recommendations as to what, if anything, I wanted to do about it. I opted to have the worm gear replaced. Its obvious that Alex knows what he's doing and had my door opening and closing like it should be. Hopefully, it is fixed for good, but time will tell. I've dealt with this garage door that closed about one-half the time and it was a real pain. Alex pointed out only what was needed to correct the problem and didn't try to up sell me on any parts or services that weren't needed. Its a pleasure doing business with an honest company and I will call them for all my garage door needs in the future. Thank you!

The provider taught me how to change the code on my key pad for no additional charge. He also sold me a new opener which I would have forgotten to order. It was a very good experience.

I bought a deal through Angie's List for garage door maintenance as I was having issues with the door not closing properly. The person who came to my home was very knowledgeable and meticulous. He took longer than I thought it would but that's only because he did a very thorough job. He made sure the garage door was working properly, safely and would work for years to come. Would highly recommend.

We were satisfied. They came in within a few days. There was an additional charge but I can't remember the exact amount. He replaced some additional parts that weren't include in the original deal. It was fine. We had no problems with them.

Great service! The day I purchased the Angie's Deal special, 39.00 for a garage door tune up, I was contacted by the company and they gave me my first appointment requested. The technician arrived on time, and was professional all the way through the service. He was clean cut and knew his business. I knew there were things that needed repairs on the door, so when the tune up revealed some issues, it was not a shock. The additional 297.00 was the price of the repairs, and it beats having to get a new door! (my family had a previous wood door that did not get tune ups and it eventually fell apart). I did not realize how wonky the door was until after the repairs, it is so much smoother and quieter now! The technician that did the work was very professional, timely, clean and I would recommend this company to anyone! I will be using them for my future tune ups!

The garage door was more noisy after the tune-up. I called him to come back and he stated that there were a lot more things that needed to be changed.

Jacob did an excellent job with our garage door opener installation. He called to let us know when he was arriving, he quickly assessed the problems and told us our options. Then he got right to work. He was cheerful, polite, and informative. Bridget was efficient and helpful in scheduling and John did a fast job of delivering an extra part that was needed. Jacob made sure we understood how everything worked and gave us some helpful tips related to technology and security. They did a fantastic job!

Caleb was a wealth of knowledge, he fixed two of our garage doors, and they now work better than when they were first installed.
