Garage Door Medics

Obviously I can't report on the quality of work, since they did not come as promised, nor did they call me. When I called them back at 5:00 the same day, the receptionist apologized, but had no information regarding the failure too perform.

Great experience, every point of contact was smooth, professional and positive. From my initial email for Garage Door Tune-up coupon, to they?re response, alert email (with picture/history of technicians) and on time arrival...it was all good. The technician explained procedure for a tune-up (inspection, check balance, adjustments and lubrication) and provided a narrative through the process. Finding two broken rollers, which I didnt notice before, he remove and replaced them which added to the cost, but less than expected. Everything was said and done in less than 30 minutes. Good job!

Great communication with the provider who was very accommodating and flexible in terms of scheduling. Sam was the tech performing the service and was very professional, friendly and quick. I am always a little suspect when purchasing a "deal" that it is an opportunity for a provider to upsell but nothing could have been further from the truth with Garage Door Medics. The service was performed, and the questions I had were answered and not used as a means for greater spending. Sam was very understanding and my garage door is amazingly quiet - more so that I had anticipated. In the end, I am extremely satisfied and would definitely use them for any needs in the future.

I didn't expect to get on the schedule for at least a week, but GDMedics was able to schedule weekend service for me, on a Sunday! I had a two hour window for the appointment, and although it was towards the end of that window, I received a call well before the end of that window letting me know a previous job had ran long, but my tech was on his way and gave me an accurate estimate of his ETA. My technician, Sam, was one of the most pleasant and thoughtful people I've ever worked with, in any capacity. Incredibly knowledgeable and articulate, not only did he instill confidence, but he took the time to provide several options and educate me of the pro's and con's of each. Although I had an idea of the brand I wanted to go with, only out of sheer familiarity, Sam helped me select another brand and model, which I couldn't be happier with. I didn't foresee being so excited about new garage door openers, but man, these garage door openers are small, SILENT and powerful! Sam clearly loves his job, he's great at it, and I love Garage Door Medics!

It went fine. There were additional $300 to $400. The quality was good. They did a pretty decent job.

I wouldn't recommend them. They had proposed additional services that I didn't take advantage of. Ultimately the gentleman that was out here made some claim that...I can't even remember what some of the parts where called, that like the pulley system was too loose and he tightened it up. Then with in a few months the whole garage door system broke. My feeling is that, he did something and maybe it was in an honest effort to be helpful but it seemed a little questionable that it so quickly would break in its entirety.

Preston was prompt, answered all questions. Track for door is lower than normal track due to platform built above, so it is not a regular set up and needs to be checked regularly. Preston had a solution for door not sealing due to garage floor being curved upwards in middle so dirt, leaves, etc. blow into garage. He will install a different style sealing gasket to address this. He's a very nice person! This is third visit from Garage Door Medics - highly recommend them!!

It went good. They came out and did what they were supposed to do. I checked the door and it works fine.

Avi, the technician, was great. On time, super friendly, informative & full of good tips, they're definitely my go-to from now on. Fixed all sorts of little things that were bugging me for a while.

I contacted Garage Door Medic after reading their ad in the Angie's List publication. It said, "Garage Door Problems? You may just needs a tune-up! Same Day Service. On time or it's free. Available 24/7". The "Signature Tune-up" was advertised at $49. I called them today requesting a tune-up, as I was home and available. I was told that they could not come out at all today, and even if they did, it would cost at least $99. So, at the very least their marketing is deceptive, to be generous. I suggest to Angie's List to remove all advertisements that are similarly deceptive.

I knew that my system was obsolete and the manufacturer wasn't selling the original remotes anymore. The person I spoke to in the office, Brian (I think), checked with the warehouse to make sure that they could do what I wanted, and the warehouse person (John?) also called to confirm exactly what I had, which I appreciated. Tom H., who came out to do the work, called first and showed up right on time, answered my questions, and got everything installed and working promptly. The total cost was exactly what I'd been quoted. I was very happy with the service.

faster than expected, the technician Samuel, vert nice guy, spoke very well about the company and had the job done in less than 15 minutes, explained what i may need to be done in the future.

Explained everything well. Fixed door and provided advice on keeping it working well. Very friendly and great service.

Garage Door Medics is my go to garage fixing people now. If I ever need a tune up or repair in the future I'm calling these guys back. A+ all the way around. Sam was my technician and he was punctual, informative, professional and just happy. It's refreshing these days to have a very positive person to interact with. Sam walked me through what he did to repair my garage. It is better than ever and SO quiet now! It didn't take long at all either. I believe the price was fair for what I got. I am satisfied with it all. Highly recommended.

Prompt. Courteous. And did a great job! Still works! And he even helped me setup up my keyless entry while he was at it.

Cable broke and I could not get the door open. It was somewhat of an emergency so I called the company at the top of the llist (Garage Door Medics). They came out in less than half an hour. It looked like we weren't going to get the door open, which was freaking me out. But Avi did not give up and using his locksmith knowledge he was able to finally get the door open. Put in a new cable and did a tuneup and all was as good as new....better than it was before the cable broke. Highly recommend these guys.

Bought a $39 coupon for a garage door tune-up/inspection. Turned out that my garage door opener was failing, so the technician recommended that I replace it. New garage was $550 installed. The technician did an excellent job on the installation. After testing the new installation, the technician advised me that the overhead counter balance springs were shot and needed replacement. Cost for replacement parts and labor $350.00.

Was disappointed. The tech didn't ask about the door openers, which haven't been as effective.

We wanted to leave for the library on a Sunday afternoon. Too our surprise the garage door did not open. We were not even able to open it manually, because one of the spring s was broken. We were essentially trapped at home. We found the garage Door Medics on Angie's list, and due to the excellent reviews I called them. We were not disappointed. Jessica took the phone and provided very friendly service. We scheduled the emergency repair, and Sam Pastella came at the designated time (It was close to the end of a long work day for him.) He fixed the door in a short time and included a tune-up free of charge. Sam was very friendly and knowledgeable and pointed out items to keep an eye on, and items that may fail next. He did not pressure us to do any replacements that can wait. We were very satisfied with the service provided and would use Garage Door Medics again.

Excellent service from initial office contact to completion of job. Tom is truly a professional and you can tell he really enjoys his job.

Purchased the tune online, received a call the next day to schedule the tune up. I explained to Alex my concerns, he explained in detail what would fix the problem. I was very impressed with the service I received. I will recommend them to all my friends. Thanks Alex!!

Called another company on Sunday. While that guy was still hemming and hawing and acting dramatic about the garage door repair, we called Garage Door Medics and Preston U. had come out and fixed everything before the other guy even got back to us on Monday. Will use this company for annual maintenance going forward!
