Description of Work: Installed all new windows and sliding glass doors in my house. I know there are cheaper windows and services out there but I wanted good windows and a company that has been in business for a long time. The installation went faster than expected, all alignments were perfect, and I am extremely satisfied.

Description of Work: I used Andersons 2 times,first time installed 1 lg window 1 lg slider & |1 normal size window.2nd time 6 reg size windows 2 lg sliders 1 lg window |3 bathrm windows.The job went very well.The crew were very polite, careful |with items in the home.Neat as possible and cleaned up after them selves, |also they worked very well with each other.My windows are beautiful.

Description of Work: Anderson has a strong reputation for making and installing high quality windows. But their sales staff at this location--San Diego CA--is deplorable. They made it difficult to arrange an appointment for an estimate. They wanted me to be there personally even though I live on the East coast. Finally they met with my representative and completed an estimate in mid August 2012. But they would not provide it to my representative in California, insisting on talking to me personally. I did have an informative phone chat with their salesman. And he promised to mail me a written estimate and proposal for the job within a week. (He could not fax it to me because he did not have a fax machine or email capability.) It is now late November and I have yet to hear from him. These people do not know what it means to be in business or how to serve a potential customer. So, if you want "Renewal by Anderson" windows installed on your property in the San Diego area, you are just out of luck because this firm has monopoly franchise in the San Diego area. (Note, I have already had the job completed using another brand of windows by a responsive contractor.)
