Used Angie's List Deal, they were prompt in following up, gave an estimate and then did the work we agreed upon. They cleaned up great!

The tree trimmer did an excellent job and was prompt, efficient and professional. He ground up and hauled away all cuttings. The yard looked great when he left. I would recommend him and will use him again. Both prices reflect a reduction in the usual price due to Angie's list specials or coupons.

I was most impressed with how the crew was careful of the trees when pruning. The lead person pointed out to me how the previous tree company's crew used spikes to climb the carrrotwood tree which caused several "tree wounds" in the trunk. Eventually it should repair itself. He said that is not the proper way to climb into the tree. A crew of three came to do the job. One person did all the trimming while the otehr two picked up the tree branches. The process went very efficiently and quickly.

I needed the job done in a short amount of time and they were able to accommodate my schedule. They arrived on time and ready to work. The 3-4 man crew very quickly and methodically took this large tree down. They used the chipper right away and then brought in a stump grinder and got rid of all the exposed roots and stump. They asked if I wanted some firewood sized pieces and then stacked them nicely where I indicated. I had purchased a $400 of service for $199 coupon. They quoted me at $1500 which seemed on the high side. I kind of wished I hadn't told them I had a coupon to see if the price would have been lower. Either way, it was a fair price for the size of the tree. Nice guys too. :)

They arrived on time (on the minute). They were quick, efficient and professional. AND, they cleaned up after they finished topping the trees, to include me neighbors yard. I recommend Coastal Tree Care for any tree maintenance you need done.

I would strongly recommend Coastal Tree Care. Initially I thought the price was on the high end, but I went with them because of the reviews on Angie's List. I wanted to hire someone who knew how to care for trees because the tree is the centerpiece of our front yard. I not only wanted it to look good, but I wanted it to be healthy. Coast Tree Care absolutely knew about magnolia trees. It's been about 6 months since they did the work, and the tree looks wonderful and healthy!

I looked at reviews of tree services offered on Angies List. Coastal Tree Care was quick to respond, as were other tree services. When I called, they immediately set up an appointment within a week to look at my project. The gentlemen who came, also the same guy who removed the trees, gave me an estimate. Tree removal is a costly endeavor, but they gave me a reasonable price based on other company estimates. I set the appointment and two guys came. They promptly showed up at the appoiinted time, and immediately set to work. The removal and clean up took about 5 hours. The trees were in an area with many obstacles, patio decking around the pool, the jacuzzi/spa where the trees were very near, and fencing near the trees. I was fearful that they would cut the trees and damage surrounding obstacles, but they proved that the job was easily handled. They removed a few of the stumps of the palms, and cleaned up the area. They removed all tree debris and came for me to inpsect their work. I am very pleased with the result. I asked the gentlemen, my main contact, how long he had been doing this line of work. His response, about 20 years. It was apparent! The gentlemen were prompt, professional, courteous and respectful of my fears and concerns. I would highly recommend this tree service.

It went fantastic, everything from the follow up on the phone, the details of the trimming and the cleanup was top notch! Would recommend highly to anyone that needs their tree's trimmed! Our palm trees are very mature, so very very tall - something we could not do on our own. The courtesy call afterward was appreciated and thoughtful!

Joseph visited my house & observed the work that needed to be done. He estimated a cost of $700, and with the Angie's list discount, the cost was $550. Adam and his helper arrived promptly at 8am, worked industriously, removing the bougainvillea, stumps and all, and lacing 3 trees. They cleaned up afterwards, and I was completely satisfied.

Since it was in a very restricted space, I was really impressed how the 1 man climbed the tree and lowered branches down by rope to the 2 men on my patio, who carried everything out front to the chipper. They were very polite and the whole thing was finished within an hour with my patio left much cleaner than before. I was especially delighted that the owner had asked me the price another tree trimmer had given me and matched that price, which is especially appreciated since I'm retired and on a fixed income. Since Coastal was my first Big Deal purchase, I did not realize until I took advantage of a second Big Deal in October from another tree service that I ended up paying about 75% more than I should have. The Big Deal offered 2 hours of work with 2 men for $199. Three men did the work, which only took 1 hour from start to finish, so, even with 4 men, it should only have cost me $199. When Coastal's owner came to my home to look over the project, I mentioned that a South Bay service quoted me $350 for the work, and Coastal's owner said they would do if for the same amount, which I did not realize I should have declined. Also, when I suggested leaving about a 3-foot stump on which I could put a planter, the owner failed to tell me that the tree could still be alive and continue growing, which proved to be a problem that the second tree service solved by stump grinding. Since Coastal's owner is an certified arborist, I would expect him to be aware of that.

This guy showed up on time, trimmed the two large trees in front, cleaned up after themselves and equated themselves in a professional manner. The trees look very good and we are happy with the results. The neighbors even gave us compliments on how good the trees look. Then, they trimmed our long row of seven foot high Eugenia down to a level that we can control. They look perfect. These guys did a good job and we would use them again.

It went well. The workers arrived promptly at the time contracted for and spent appropriate time to get the trees trimmed. They removed all the cut droppings and blew the yard clean. This was the first time I had ever had these trees trimmed. They were about 30 years old and were starting to lean. I was afraid they might fall over in a bad storm. These trees were also starting to hang over into a neighbor's yard. The cut them back so this does not happen at least for a little while. I bought the promotion from Angies List for $400.00 worth of work for $199.00. When the gentleman came out to provide me with a price to complete the work, he added anther 450.00 to the cost. A little more than I wanted to spend but the work was well worth it. My trees now look happy and rested as they don't have the extra weight they had before the trim. I would recommend company to others and I would use this company again for any additional tree work I needed.

The service was very good. The job really looked great. I wanted to make sure that it would still blossom, and it did. They explained to me that the pruning was for restructure reasons, which a lot of people don't know, and I didn't know either. They were outstanding, I can tell anything about bad about them. They did everything that I asked them to do. They came just when they said they would. They were fine men.

It was fine. I was pleased with it.
