Description of Work: Trimmed two trees. The trees looked butchered. I asked for them to be trimmed way back, but not lopped off so aggressively. Also, I won't use an Angie's List service like this any more, because whatever I pay for "the Big Deal", the company over charges in the end to make their money back. It ends up being a really "Big Money Maker"!

Description of Work: Coastal Tree Trimmers were very good. They were timely in their responses to my questions. They did the work they promised and even threw in extra trees because "it was the right thing to do." My one and only problem was that their rates are quite a bit higher than I have paid in the past. Found that they do quality work making their rates worth while.

Description of Work: Thin and reduce 1 large ash tree, remove 2 pecan trees, 1 small peach tree, 1 old grape vine, 1 dead myaporum. Stump grind 5 stumps. Shred and haul away all trimmings. Three man crew, arrived on time, clean modern equipment, very professional job.

Description of Work: My neighbor has a large pine tree that was overhanging onto the roof of my house. Coastal Tree came in and trimmed back or removed the branches as needed. I thought the job went very well.

Description of Work: They showed up on time and trimmed a very large tree in the back yard. The work was well done, but after they left and I had a chance to survey my yard, I noticed several broken items, a plant pot, a wind chime,... also, there was a lot of branches and debris from the tree that didn't get cleaned up when the job was finished.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company for: $199 for $400 worth of tree trimming, pruning and limb removal services. He first told me that that he would not be able to come and do the work until April 22nd. I was not happy with Costal Tree Service because after 2 weeks of not hearing from him, I had to call into Angie’s List to get a refund. I did not follow through with the refund, because a day or two later I got an email from Costal Tree Care said he had an opening due to a canceled schedule. The job got done and the company who did the work did a good job. The company who came out was a fellow competitor of Coastal Tree Care’s though and I really liked that company who came out. They completed the work in less than 2 hours, but I did have to pay an additional $150 for the full service. I would suggest to Coastal Tree Care that he follows up with his customers promptly and that is why I am giving him a C.

Description of Work: Removed very large trees from two different locations, ground the stumps, hauled everything off. Was very respectful, punctual, kept me informed of the progress of their work...even ground a stump that I didn't even ask them to do!! I will definitely keep them in my contacts for future work!

Description of Work: provider came to my home and told me the requested work would require an additional $300.00, making it a more expensive service than I had had before. I went ahead and scheduled a service date of August 9th, he just called and rescheduled for September 10. His reason for rescheduling was that another customer in my same area needed to reschedule and to make it convenient for the provider, he wanted me to do the same.

Description of Work: He did show up on time, as requested, for an estimate. However, he said he was unable to get his truck turned around in the drive. I gave him the B because the job was not done. I would prefer not to give a grade, since nothing really happened.

Description of Work: I had a house plant gone wild, for about 20 years! It was in a very strange spot growing out of the foundation of my house from a three foot ledge and below was a 10 foot plus drop, so this was not an easy job. Coastal Tree Care came out, met a competitors estimate, made an appointment to cut the tree and did the job. They were prompt, professional, respectful, and cleaned up! The tree was beautiful and I hated to have it removed, however, Coastal Tree Care made the experience painless. I will use their services again and highly recommend you do as well!!!
