Description of Work: From the beginning it just was not a good experience. Joseph emailed me and asked if i would be available on a particular day to stop by to give me an estimate. I emailed him back to let him know I was not and provided my cell phone number. He e-mailed again on the same day and asked if I would be available on that same day after I let him know I was not available, and he let me know that he had tried calling me at the number I gave him but I never received any call from him. I did confirm the number I gave him thru the e-mail. When we did speak on the phone I asked about the discounted price of $199.00. The tree to be trimmed has been cut before so I had a ruff estimate of how much it would cost and there was not as much to be cut this time around. His tone on the phone was unprofessional and I just did not get a good feeling about him. He seemed disorganized and flakey. He wanted to charge me $600.00 to trim this tree minus $200.00 that I had already paid so I still owed him another $200.00. I also had him check out a smaller tree at my folks home (no discount 1 per hse hold) and he quoted $475.00!!!! I called Tony Gomez Tree Service they are going to cut my tree this Friday for $180.00. : /

I have had that tree trimmed before and that price was double what I've paid in the past with other providers. He said he would come down to $600, but that's the lowest he could do the work for. I said $600 total or after the $200. He said $600 total. I didn't end up using him because it was just too expensive. I got a refund.

Description of Work: I purchased a $99 deal for $200 worth of tree service. I was seeking to have some root removed away from a brick paved area. They were professional. They were able to take on the job, but for a considerable increase in price.

Description of Work: Joe called me right away for the estimate for cutting down 3 yucca trees and thinning another tree. His crew arrived promptly on the appointed day. They actually finished sooner than expected. I only had the one estimate so it's hard for me to rate the price.

Description of Work: Although it was pricey the work was excellent. The crew arrived on time and took great care to not damage any other plants nor let the animals out of the back. The cleaned up all the debris and were friendly and respectful. Very professional all of them.

Description of Work: Trimmer pruned 2 large palm trees and mulched the palm leaves. The trimmer did an excellent job and was very competent and neat. He estimated that it would take 3-4 hours for the job and was right on. I felt the original price of the job was a little high, but through Angie's List special deal of $200 off of the $550 estimate it was a good deal. I have used this company twice.

Description of Work: He was just very arrogant and I do not want him to complete the service. I was uncomfortable to talk with him. I feel like kinda scared by the way Joseph talking to me.

Description of Work: They removed designated trees and branches. They trimmed some branches and removed all refuse. They did a good job, but they were overpriced. I was surprised that the owner wasunable to identify most of our common trees. | | COMMENT: East San Diego county was outside their service zone. Although I don't think I was charged more, I did have to wait for a long time to get my estimate and have the work done. I would have normally had the job done in stages, as I couldn't afford the entire amount, but, due to the distance (over an hours commute one way) they would not do that. They did allow me to make payments. Please publish the area serviced when you publish these ads. My $400 was already deducted before I learned I was outside the service area.
