Description of Work: Pruned large liquid amber tree, 3 other trees that bordered neighbor property.Removed a tree, clipped deadwood on 5 fltrees, even orange tree that wasn't part of the estimate. Removed dead tree in front yard, wasn't part of estimate. Thorough, prompt, clean, professional.

Description of Work: Joseph and Adam, both Certified Arborists, and their Coastal Tree Care crew did an absolutely outstanding job of removing 3 mature palms, each over 50 feet in height with palm heads over 15 feet across from a steep bank in our backyard. The palms were brought down by hand with chain saw, rope, and pulley as no crane could be brought to the palms. It was an amazing job requiring two days full day of work both in the air and on the ground to remove the substantial palm crowns, fronds, trunks and sawdust generated in their removal. The work site was left immaculate on both days. In addition to the three palms, they thinned/skinned several others then cleared half of the bank at no additional cost. Amazing work too on lacing a decorative non-fruiting pear tree in our front yard. This company is professional, carries appropriate insurance, and demonstrated themselves to be a class act at a very competitive price. Have Coastal Tree Care bid your job - they were outstanding and fully insured. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Did an absolutely stunning job lacing my large Hong Kong Orchid Tree. Changed it from a rather unappealing looking tree to a gorgeous looking tree, just by how they laced, shaped, balanced, and reduced its canopy. Also cut down a dead olive tree, to include stump grinding. I've had similar work done for less, but none done as beautifully.

Called office, he arranged a second appointment and we were able to view the tree and agree on the additional cost beyond the coupon purchased. | |The crew that arrived (three members) was excellent, did the job requested, and cleaned up before they left.

Description of Work: Quote was much too high in my experience for palm tree trimming service. I feel (and obviously this was shared by other reviewers as well) that they simply added $$ to make up the amount they were losing by offering the deal.

Description of Work: I procured services after buying a "special". When Coastal came to my lot, the work I asked for "cost" $150 more than the limit of the special. I wanted to get it done and had already committed via the special to this vendor, so I lost the opportunity to get a "competitive" bid for the work. The work only took a couple of hours max. Some debris was left behind. Seemed like a lot of money for the time but I take fault for not getting bids before buying the special.

Description of Work: Coastal Tree Care trimmed a pepper tree and a willow-type tree. Joseph Eves listened to what I wanted performed and trimmed the trees. The trees look great! The pepper tree has been trimmed to be away from the roof and the willow-type tree does not hang over the driveway.

Description of Work: I purchased deal on Angie's list. I made appointment to have a tree trimmed back from neighboring property. The crew came late an started with out talking to me first about what I wanted to be trimmed. I wanted more trimmed back. The crew was tired an needed to finish up. I called the owner to have the crew cut back to cut a little more and he wanted to charge another $350. Only for about a half a hour work. I should have not paid when I did. Ounce he got his money he will not help you any further. He did not do what I discussed up front I wanted done. His crew did not know what I exactly wanted.I was disatisfied with the final product.

Description of Work: Coastal Tree Care took out some very large trees and trimmed growth on a hillside behind our house. They did a great job. When I asked Joseph to grind down a stump a little further, they came back and did it. I was very happy with their work.
