Chris Alan Design

Once again we all very very happy with services that Chris provided. Everything that Chris pick out was a perfect. There is no way I could of done this myself and had it turn out nearly as nice. And Chris stayed with in the budget, We are so glad that we decided to use Chris's service. The contractors that Chris uses are also great people.

Chris came out to the house and in 1 hour was able to give us clear direction on the design front. He was knowledgeable and easy to interact with. We really appreciated his input.

In just a few hours, he gave me ideas for paint, flooring, furniture, lighting, drapes, even down to the recommended vendors he uses. Has a keen eye for clean design. He even had the exact paint color numbers I would need should I decide to do some of the work myself. Chris is very straight forward, we are a bit of clutter bugs and he pointed out that a lot of the clutter should go. Also went through options and discussions about style choice vs design choice. Great insights.

Chris was friendly and easy to talk to about design for the house. He helped move existing furniture so we could see how a different placement would improve the look of the rooms. He gave ideas for decorative objects for finishing touches when rooms were completed. He told my son he could text him if he wanted his opinion on something he was going to purchase even if he did not hire him. Chris was wonderful and we would recommend him for his personality and design style. He said he wants to design homes that are livable.

It was great. Very pleased and no problems. I just got the info and will be considering it for implementation.

I hired Chris after he did his 2 hour remodeling review. I decided to hire him to do my remodeling. Linda and I are extremely happy, with the remodeling and all with in budget! So glad that I hire Chris, he pays for himself. No way I could of done the remodel to have it come out as nice and with in budget. Nice thing about Chris is that I didn't have the hassle or the worries, he took care of everything and walk us through every step of the way.

Christian came in, took stock of what's here, and provided new, fresh ideas for some renovation and redecorating. He was open to listening and then providing different alternatives. I appreciated his candor and opinions as he was not there just to approve what I thought (no need for me to pay for that!) but to give a more integrated and balanced look for my ultimate objectives. Christian's eye for colors was remarkable, too, and the slight shading tints will work well for the house and rooms. Thank you, Christian!!

He selected colors to brighten up and provide that airiness we were looking for. Also had great ideas for kitchen remodel. He was very candid about our current condition, large furniture and current colors on our walls. But that's what I wanted and he had the same thoughts I did moving into this new look we want to create in our condo/home. He was very detailed, precise, very friendly and warm. We got a long just wonderfuly and I would not hesitate to use him again.

I just love the way Chris had rearranged my furniture design, now looks nice with an open comtemporary look! he has a very cheerful disposition, I had fun working with him. He share his professional creativeness in interior design very frank, respects yet he listens to my concerns, and my preference for design in my living room. There is no pressure to use his services. The "consultation" was just what I needed to begin to see the possibilities of the room becoming my retreat. He gave me ideas and suggestions without pushing me in any way to buy his ongoing services as a designer. His rates are very reasonable. I am retired and on a limited income and he made sure we stayed in budget. I actually came in under budget!! I will using him again to do other rooms in my home. He is honest, does what he says and makes if fun!!

I need to get my condo remodeled but was waiting until i retired to do it. The carpets are worn, walls need to be painted, the ceiling popcorn removed, and we need new window treatments, and lighting. Chris gave us great advice on a completely new look that won't break the bank. I am very impressed with his interior design ideas. Everything made sense from the time he walked in the door until he left. He has been in the business for quite a while and knows his stuff. We have confidence in Chris and are going to hire him to do our remodeling.

Chris was lovely. He was straight forward, he respected the fact that we have a certain way of living with things that have meaning to us, so he was careful to talk about incorporating into that "style" which I very much appreciated. We spent a lot of time going through our rooms and talking about things we might change, things we keep, things we can "rework" and things that we could do over, painting suggestions, etc. I was please with his service and his ideas. We are continuing to work together as our long-range plan moves into action.

I was contacted right away by Chris's office and was offered a choice of a couple dates. They followed through setting up the appointment in a very professional manner. Chris arrived right on time and after greeting us in a most pleasant, friendly manner asked where I wanted to start. We went through various areas and in each one, he was thoughtful and honest with me. There were things he didn't exactly love, but offered another option just in case I wanted to change my mind. If I was sold on what I'd decided he went along with me and we moved into another area. Never was he negative about my choices in any way. We looked at paint colors and he had a great idea right off the bat. He was so knowledgeable in every area, we were able to accomplish my original objectives in less than the 2 hours I'd paid for. He'd already made some suggestions for changing around our living room furniture, so since we had extra time, he actually moved a couple pieces, rearranged photos etc on my etagere and created a couple new vignettes that all made such sense, even my husband was blown away. Not only was this a good value, I"d be willing to pay his regular rate if I had need of his service at my home again. He loves what he does, and it shows. He told me that his main goal is to ensure that people enjoy their home; that they should have things out where they can be enjoyed and appreciated and reflect the individuals who are living in that space. I'll also add, that he does all this with considerable humor and warmth; I actually felt that I was talking with a good friend. My husband summed it up with this: "This guy is a treasure"!

Christian has been absolutely wonderful. He's responsive, professional, trustworthy, fair, fun, and a good listener! He's always been able to meet with me even with my limited availability, which is usually only nights and weekends. When he helped us with our master bedroom I told him that I was hoping to get it done before my husband got back from a long trip. He was up at our house the night before, hanging pictures and draperies to make sure the last touches were ready. While working on our other rooms I have texted him when I see something that I think might work in our house, and he'll give me the "yay" or "nay". He's very flexible in his service offerings to work within your budget. He can absolutely do everything and take care of all the details or serve as a consultant while you do some of the leg work. He's a real gem and I highly recommend him!

My favorite thing about Chris was that he knew so much, had great ideas and was not at all pretentious. He seemed to tune into my style and understood exactly the look and feel of what I was going for. With his feedback and input I was able to more clearly define my goals and I created a remodeling plan. My first project was a complete redo of my master bath. It is almost done and is going to be awesome!

Christian came to my home right on time and spent the full two hours giving me countless ideas on how to update and improve the general appearance of my new home. He provided both short term inexpensive ideas as well as suggestions for more elaborate plans for down the line. He quickly picked up on my style and showed me what worked, didn't work, and will work, with the design I was looking for. I was taking notes furiously as we went along as he had too many excellent ideas to possibly remember. He provided me with names and numbers for those who could do the work we discussed, (contractor, painter), as wellas suggestions as to where to find products we discussed. I will definitely continue working with him in the future! Couldn't be more pleased!

It went very well. He had some creative ideas and tried to design things to fit into the customers desires and budget.

I can't say enough about how I enjoyed this experience. It was everything I hoped for and more. Chris was great and gave me so much info to work with. Don't hesitate using his services...

I purchased the special deal for two hour consultation for $ 99. He gave me ideas on furniture arrangments, etc. He was very detailed and spent more than the 2 hours I had paid for. I liked his ideas and will be hiring him when I am ready for my bathroom remodel.

Daniel was so helpful and provided great advice on furniture placement. He moved furniture and accessories to make the best suggestions for making the house look the best. I would highly recommend Chris Alan Design and will call them again when we move. Thank you, Daniel.

The experience with Chris Alan Design has been satisfactory in every way. His recommendations for creating a more coordinated and "simplified" home environment were just what I had hoped for but was unable to pull together on my own. His ideas were inspired, functional and respectful of my particular requirements. When he suggested recessed can lighting for my too dark living room I could have sworn I heard a choir singing in the back of my mind. The consultation synopsis he provided really helps to clarify my plans and gives me a map to follow on my own and at my own pace. His arrival and responses to my inquiries have been courteous and prompt. If you ever thought you were not eligible to have an Interior Decorator help you create the home you've always hoped for, than think again, and consider Chris Alan Design.

He was really nice. He also gave good advice. I will probably be using him again.

Christian to our home and lent his expertise in designing a space that is open, uncluttered, and yet cozy and comfortable to be in. He was available at all hours and helped us to find a style that satisfied both of our ideas and tastes. Every time we met with Christian he was on time and loaded with positive energy which made our remodel a fun experience even though "decluttering" can be stressful.
