Description of Work: He gave me a design plan for several rooms in my home including details such as paint colors and code numbers and carpet types. He also suggested removal of very dated paneling and brick like fireplace decor and what furniture would look good in the rooms. We discussed opening up the rooms by removing a partial wall. He gave me budget estimates for two plans. It went very well as he knows good design and is creative. |

His design ideas were creative and the way he explained what we need to do was kind, but honest. It was not an easy job, but he did it exceptionally well. We were looking for ideas to help stage our home for sale. Chris really came through for us.

Description of Work: We just hired Chris based on our meeting him through his Angie's list special offer. So far, things couldn't be better. Will let you know how it turns out!

Description of Work: Used the $99 Angie's list special for two hours of consultation on staging and paint selection for our home. Chris was outstanding and made so many suggestions about how to stage our house for sale. He went from room to room giving ideas on what furniture to remove and where to move the rest of it. Went through numerous paint chips and came up with a selection of paints throughout the house. We thought he was excellent and would definitely use him again and recommend him to everybody.

Moving, unpacking, re-arranging furniture and deciding what goes where is never easy for a new homeowner. Chris is a natural and gets it done fast. He is a good listener, works hard to understand what I want and is willing to work within a tight budget. Has great design knowledge and contacts and goes out of his way to make your dream design comes true. Highly recommend him.

Description of Work: One important task he did first was he tried to understand my goals before making recommendations. It was obvious that he did have a lot of experience and I appreciated that he made effort to understand who I am to make recommendations based upon who I am. He even stayed for extra time even though I only paid for 2 hours of consultation.

He was straight forward and reassuring on many of my past choices but did not hold back when he felt I had made an unfortunate choice and offered better solutions. I have changed out several pieces he wondered about and like the difference. When I get some expected extra funds I will probably enlist his help in getting window treatments, new living room furniture and other advice on getting the home in order.
