They did what they said they would do, but I was a little disappointed, since I had to pay extra mileage because I was a little bit out of their service range (only about a mile). The check they did was very simplistic I thought, and overall I was disappointed.

Brinks did a very good job. They thoroughly inspected my home. The inspection included a free water heater flush. As my water heater was newly replaced, the techician unclogged the sink in the kitchen instead, all for the same price.

You have all the information I can give re Brinks & Phil Perin. I'll be happy to report if/when work is ordered & completed.. Please advise: how should I answer things like where was work performed? Without a comment space or an NA option, it is difficult to give a response which can be confirmed. A few other items invite the same "what to do" puzzle. Thanks for your help. This has taken on a life of its own...I have tried to submit about 5 times without success. I've been called back to clarify, change, etc just because I can't provide info as if jobs were done. I cannot afford this waste of time---sorry, getting grumpy.

I had him replace the faucets on sinks in three of my bathrooms in addition to the Deal. He also adjusted the water pressure in the house as it was way too high. He did a very good job and I was very pleased.

Overall, I would rate the performance of Brinks Investigation-Restoration Systems very high. They performed each task as was described on Angie's List. I would strongly recommend this company for any plumbing problems that may arise.

1st call, the operator was rude because I had called after hours. 2nd call the guy was polite and they arranged to send someone out. The person never showed up. I called again, unknowingly, after hours again, and the girl answering was very unhelpful and rude again. Called again and the owner was apologetic and said he would send someone out, free of charge, to make up for the mistake. He seemed genuine and kind with his offer. Unfortunately, the person did not show up again. On the next call, they finally set an appointment and the person did turn up, but because their arrival window was so large, I had just popped out and left my son to deal with him. The guy told him a whole bunch of technical information about my system, which my son could not remember. He did not leave any written statement. I called twice to speak with the repairman to ask what his advice had been, but he was not there and he never called me back. This organization seems very disorganized and needs some serious training on customer service.

He was very quick to respond. His work was good. I have had no issues since he installed the faucet. He also gave me advice on a toilet that needed fixing. I would recommend him to anybody.

Plumber and assistant arrived on time and started on the water heater. (we have a lot of sediment in the water here) Upon completion, they walked the rest of the plumbing in the house and answered questions I had re: the solar hot water heater and a few other areas I am concerned about. They gave a fair assessment of the plumbing - there were no major issues- left their card and asked for my business should I need plumbing service in the future. It was refreshing not to be "sold" something; I was expecting the service to be similiar to going to one of the auto repair chains - they do the oil change but also tell you you have several hundred dollars of other maintenance you really should have done.

The technician was great. I had a misunderstanding with the front office. I heard the scheduler say they would honor the Angie's list deal for the sewer line even though it is written for an indoor line. The scheduler thought she said she would discount my $385 video scope service by the $75 as long as I paid for the Angie's list deal before the technician arrived. Why pay $75 through Angie's List for a $75 credit on the bill? That still does not make sense. The tech and I were already there so the scheduler initially said there would be no charge as long as I did not need a video recording. She called back an hour later to say they were marking my deal as used. Okay, in the end I got exactly what I thought we agreed to in the first place.

Went great. Did exactly what was promised. That was a great deal but the cost to hydrojet spray the pipes was not competitive.

It was a smooth job- no problems or unexpected issues. He was up front and honest and gave me a fair quote to repair the section of pipe that was broken.

I found their bids to be a higher than the other large plumbing companies.

Overall they did a great job!

After having clogged my kitchen drain with shrimp shells, I tried in vain to clear it with Drano and a hand auger. I then called Brinks and 1 hour later Jim arrived to take a look. He quickly and promptly resolved it, and even cleaned up some of the mess I had left from my earlier attempts. Great job!

He was a very experienced plumber. He had to level the toilet and installed it within the 2 hour time that I paid for. He was very professional and did the job with ease

They came in an snaked my drain and also gave recommendation to improve the plumbing in our older pipes

He did a good job. He was very nice.The additional work was $250, but I didn't want that done.

David told me the row of mature raphiolepsis bushes along the driveway would have to be removed before they could begin to reroute the line. I arranged to have a landscaper do that the next day. Big job since a neighbor's 2 palm tree roots had spread into the area and even lifted the sidewalk a bit. David had given me his cell phone number so that I could keep him updated on the progress. When the trench was ready, David brought in his crew the next morning. They had to jack hammer out a few feet of decorative cement and tile to lay the copper pipe to the garage. Luckily, I have just enough tile pieces left from the original hardscape installation for a repair. The guys did a beautiful job of that with no extraneous damage. They planned a piping route over the top of the garage door inside the garage to the pressure regulator on the far side of the garage.. Once again Brinks came to my rescue. Some of my neighbors think their charges are high, but I'd rather pay for a professional job with guys I can trust and a fix that is permanent. They even are patient about letting me watch and ask questions. I've talked with Teresa in the office several times over the years and she's always been pleasant and helpful even when I've been stressed out. They've earned my respect.

The service provider got an excellent deal from us we pre-paid $50.00 and it expired before we could use it so the provider made out.

The guy was "kind and courteous." He just did not do anything. I was not going to write a review at all, but then the 2nd plumber came last week and did the work so easily. I figured others should know about this - I wish I had.

The technician snaked two drains, but recommended additional service on my property's regulator. When I called back to get an appointment for this additional quote, no one could find record of his work, no one ever called back. I called a second and third time and STILL no one has called back. My assumption is that they have way too much work, maybe don't need the smaller, residential jobs.

They were nice guys. They did a good inspection and did not try to upsell me on anything.

I wIll admit, it didn't start as smooth as I had hoped. Brinks offered to perform the services free of charge because of a scheduling mix-up. I did not accept their offer and insisted on paying for any services that took place. After some hiccups, I was able to get the service I needed. Jim gave me a call about an hour and a half prior to coming to my home and we worked out a time. He was there a half hour early, and I will never complain about that. I had a coupon for drain cleaning and camera inspection; however, I asked Jim to do something completely different and it was no problem at all. He went under my home, getting sweaty and dirty, and informed me of the changes I needed to make in order to ensure proper plumbing requirements. Jim also checked the water pressure and looked for my main shutoff valve(which I didn't have/ only one located in the street). When it was all said and done, I printed out my coupon, signed some papers and it was done. I will schedule another appointment in order make the necessary changes under my home. I am very pleased about the process and thoroughly enjoy when a business operates on a professional level. Admitting mistakes and doing ones best to rectify them is a huge part of running a productive business. Brinks surprised me today. Here I was thinking business ethics have gone out the window.
