Description of Work: Roger was very pleasant and professional. I had a clogged kitchen sink. He snaked the line and ran a camera down the line. He gave some recommendations and cleaned up the mess. Very nice.

Description of Work: I chose not to use the coupon since my plumber stated my water heater was old and would be vulnerable to problems with a leaking valve which a friend actually confirmed had happened when he got his water heater flushed. I would rather not rate the service provider, but since Angies requested I do that, I am rating an A although I have no firsthand experience with the company.

Description of Work: I called first thing in the morning regarding an emergency plumbing issue. Our only shower drain was backed up from the kitchen waste line. I was advised by Teresa to purchase the $75 Drain Cleaning Coupon. I was told that I would have to purchase the coupon before scheduling an appointment. I explained that I did not want to purchase the coupon unless she was able to confirm that someone would be available to come out to our home that morning because I wanted it repaired ASAP. If they were unable to do it, I would like to call another plumber. She told me that she would be able to send a technician out between 8-8:30am since I was the first person to call that day (I called at 7:20am). I was instructed to hang up, buy the coupon, and she would call me back in 10-15 minutes to finish scheduling the appointment. I purchased the coupon as instructed and no one called me back. After waiting 20 minutes, I called back to speak to Teresa. I received a very short response from her saying that she would call me back after she finished logging into her computer. Another 20 minutes goes by and still no one calls me back. I call back again and am told that Teresa is busy and will have to return my call. She finally calls me to tell that an emergency plumbing situation has occurred at an HOA and that the technician will not be able to come to our home until that afternoon. It is clear to me that they are blowing us off for the HOA "emergency" because it is a more profitable job for them than ours. I told her that it is unacceptable because she promised me that we would be the first appointment of the day. She agreed with this and said she would call me back. She calls me back five minutes later to tell me that the technician is leaving straight away to come to our home first before addressing the HOA repair. I am still unhappy with how I have been treated at this point, but thank her. Thirty minutes go by and I receive another phone call from Teresa saying that the technician will not be coming to our house this morning afterall. They can't come until this afternoon because of the HOA "emergency". At this point, I am very angry, late for work, unable to shower, and have wasted my entire morning being jerked around by this unprofessional, rude business. I can't believe that they would treat a new client like this! I told her that as I had explained before I needed to get the issue resolved this morning because I had an important work meeting that afternoon. I demanded my money back and she said I would have to contact Angie's list to get a refund. At this point, I hear some man's voice in the background yelling "give her her money back". Could they be any less professional? I told her that they had already wasted enough of my time and that I didn't have time to contact Angie's List. She offered to contact Angie's List for me. I asked her for a confirmation phone call. She told me that she or someone from Angie's List would call to confirm the return of my payment. This never happened. Instead I received an email with a link to "submit a request", requiring me to do even more work, and spend even more time on this unfortunate situation. At this point I am very disappointed in Angie's List. I no longer trust their recommendations. Please refund my $75 as soon as possible.

Description of Work: Received an estimate to repair hot water leak in slab of my home. Agreed to have work done based upon estimate and Brinks came to fix problem on time and with everything they needed with them. They changed all angle stops and replaced with new high-quality products. Cleaned out all my old copper pipes and lined them with epoxy. Had to re-route hot water to kitchen which was done at no charge to me. We had taken a mini vacation while they worked and returned two days later to a clean house.

Description of Work: They first came out and capped the leaking pipe (slab leak) quickly so there would be no further damage. Then they came out and not only repaired that leak, but lined all of our hot and cold water pipes with Curaflo. They replaced the hardware they needed to.

Description of Work: Brinks, which is the exclusive representative for the CuraFlo system in San Diego County, lined all our home's copper piping with an epoxy coating to prevent any further leaks. Brinks guarantees their process for the life of the home, plus 10 years. Three of Brinks' plumbers worked three days on this project, thoroughly inspected the piping system and water pressure, cleaned out the system, applied thes epoxy coating throughout the system, up to the various valves and faucets, replaced all the old valves with new, state-of the-art valves, and cleaned up before departure. The process required 8 relatively small holes in the drywall, which the crew repaired before leaving. All I had left to do was paint over the repairs.

Description of Work: New (for us) home. After hooking up washer and using it a couple of times, water backed up into a bathroom shower. I suspected blockage just after shower (toward main sewer line). Running drain auger through kitchen / laundry cleanout cleared.

Description of Work: Repaired slab leak by pipe lining with Curaflo. Both hot and cold water pipes were lined with Curaflo. They also replaced all plumbing hardware with new hardware, i.e., 1/4 turn ball valves, flex hoses, pressure water regulator, hot water tank valve and hoses, and both outdoor bibs at no additional cost. Only four holes were necessary to cut out and they patched and repaired them.
