Description of Work: There was water in my garage - wasn't sure where it was coming from but suspected a broken or blocked pipe or main. I removed as much water as I could from the garage, then joined Angie's List and found Black Mt. Plumbing's name. Saw the coupon and thought it would cover whatever plumbing problem they might encounter. They came promptly, were professional, discovered that it was a blocked water main, cleared it, collected payment and left. Polite, professional, etc.

Description of Work: Replaced kitchen faucet. The plumber, Robert, arrived as schedule and installed a new faucet. He quickly finished the job and left the work area clean. Even though the company is out of our immediate area I will call them to do the job. needed.

Description of Work: A slab leak has recently sprung up in my home (built in 1968). The leak was 'located' by a leak detection/location specialist company, CPL. Once the leak was located I then called Black Mountain Plumbing to schedule an appointment and to get an estimate. The person showed up on time. The person who showed up to provide estimate was very courteous and knowledgeable about the work and he did provide me a written estimate with the details of services. Overall, I am very satisfied with how promptly and professionally my request was handled. Really appreciate, thank you Black Mountain Plumbing!

Description of Work: called them for a water pressure regulator change. They are very friendly and accurate. Instead of directly provide a quote, they asked for a few pics for the details. scheduled a date and Solomon came here on time. He is very nice, and I learned a lot from him. While he is changing the water pressure regulator, I also asked him on other small issues on the plumbing. He answered my questions and in the end, he helped me to fixed those small issues quickly! I really appreciate his service.

Description of Work: My neigbor supervised the repair today so this report is second-hand. Larry found the leak below my driveway slab in less than an hour. It was two feet in from the edge. The concrete and clay above the copper pipe had settled onto the pipe, pressing it against a large cobble, which bent the pipe and eventually caused a pinhole-sized leak. It was not an easy repair since the clay was saturated, the hole had to be bailed out an th pipe wa under the slab. My neighbor was very impressed with Larry's work and his ability to find the leak and to repair the pipe without damaging the driveway.

Description of Work: Hi all, I just had David Boyer from Black Mountain Plumbing out to do the $49.00 hot water heater clean out and home plumbing inspection. I expected a quick tank flush, walk around the house and then a big up sell for $$$. What a surprise. First thing, David shows me how cool it is that someone had placed a bypass on the hot water heater lines in case it failed and he showed me how to use it in case of an emergency so the house would still have a water supply. Who knew? Then, he LISTENED to all of the problems we have had with the plumbing and spent almost an hour truly INSPECTING the entire property. We live in an early 60's adobe home with cast iron pipes that are clogging on a more and more frequent basis. I had made the reservation to have BMP come out before the toilet in the master bath decided to clog up and I was going to pull the wall mounted toilet out after all else had failed. David made sure I knew what I was doing, (yes, I am pretty handy) and offered suggestion to do it safely. David did not try to sell me on snaking the toilet first or anything else. He knew this was the only option and was fine with letting me do it. He did tell me that my little sink and drain snake was probably not the tool for the job and if I didn't have any luck, he could come back out and simply snake it for me. He even gave me a replacement wax ring for the toilet ! Well, I called them back and they will be here tomorrow. Okay, so I'm just kinda handy. Thank you David and thank you Black Mountain Plumbing. Description of Work: Several jobs needed to be done because fixtures because fixtures had become old (15-20 years), corroded and leaky: bathroom fixtures in master bathroom needed to be exchanged two toilets kept running bathtub fixtures in guest bathroom were leaky and ugly washing machine water supply fixtures were corroded. The technicians (Solomon, David and Larry - if I remember correctly) were very helpful, professional, on time and patient. They helped with ordering the needed parts for the different jobs and had to come back twice as the ordered parts didn't all arrive at the same time. They fixed everything perfectly, and I highly recommend them without hesitation.

Description of Work: I'm very pleased with Black Mountain Plumbing's services. I called them late yesterday afternoon to see if they could have someone come out the next afternoon to fix a problem my mother was having with her toilet. The receptionist was excellent and said they could definitely have someone come out the following afternoon sometime between 1-4:00. Just before 1:00 I received a call from Travis saying that he was on the way. Travis arrived shortly thereafter, introduced himself and provided his card. My mother described the problem to him which she felt was the flapper . Travis checked the toilet out and it worked fine. He surmised that the chain to the flapper had likely kinked for some reason but that all was fine now. He even put dye in all the toilets to be sure none of the flappers were leaking. He also checked the water pressure which turned out to be fine and he noticed some issues regarding my mother's water heater and gave us some advice about it. He didn't charge at ALL for the visit. He said he didn't feel it appropriate to charge anything since he really didn't have to fix anything. Mom had thought she needed to replace the parts inside her toilet tank but Travis told her all looked fine and he didn't want her to waste her money on something that wasn't necessary. We really, really appreciated his honesty and his thoroughness in checking everything out and not charging since there was no repair work he had to do. We will definitely be calling Black Mountain again whenever we need plumbing help.

Description of Work: Very responsive; sent plumper - David - next business day to my house. David was very knowledgeable! I had asked them to inspect a problem with my hot water in the master bath; he also check all pluming in the house at no additional charge. Here is the best part, two of my kitchen faucets would not Swivle (I didn't even know that this was a problem). David discovered the problem; He then contacted the manufacturer and found that they had a recall. He was able to get me two faucets at almost no cost! Now that's going above and beyond for your customer.

Description of Work: Consulted on repairing or replacing toilets in the house. Since I chose to replace I took one of the models that they carried and they replaced them the next day. They were prompt and careful and found that the pressure regulator on the house was defective and replaced it.

Had a leak i thought. checked with u, well thewy determined i had under ground leak, well turns out it was my water softner leaking they thought. dug up my yard told me $95.00 hr, well next day 2 guys showed up not original who diagnosed problem, dug for few hours. boss showed up said it was sofner. left hole open and charged me for 2 people digging for 2hrs 95 X 2. where that come from? They left hole open and nothing. turns out it wasnt the softner, was a damaged drain pipe which they couyld even find like 12 inches from whrere they dug. my brotherinlaw and i replaced for l;ike $25.00. needless to say we dont have plumbing degrees. anyways turns out if they spent like another 15min or kept same guy all would of worked. Also hated fact that all while they and boss here they put down other contracts who accomplished same thing for neighbors. actuaaly in 1 or 2 days - they actually finished the job.
