Told me how to shut it off on the phone, and arrived for repair right on time as promised. Gave me a discount in addition to the Angie's list discount. Very helpful on phone, friendly and efficient when arrived for repair. I would use them again, although I did have to call twice (answering service and later during the morning an actual person) before I got a response and appointment.

The mark of a good company is how they handle problems with customer service. I encountered some difficulty in communications with the plumber sent to my house. John, the manager, took immediate action and resolved the problem beyond my expectations. I also received a concerned follow up call from Scott, the CEO, even after John had resolved the problem. As a small local company they have a good understanding of what customer service means.

Black Mountain Plumbing was chosen on basis of Angie's List ratings. Scott Ferrell was at the job site within two hours of the initial phone call; the job was complete within three hours, even though this was not an emergency service call! Scott and employee Joel had all the tools, parts, and experience right at hand to knock out the work without any delay. They worked carefully, checking to make certain that the new parts would fit and alignment was as needed. Scott freely volunteered additional suggestions and the two even helped with moving a heavy table for us, although it had nothing to do with the plumbing job. It's a considerable relief to have the job completed, at a fair cost, even before we had a chance to think about it! Now the remodeling can proceed forward. We would certainly hire Black Mountain again for any major plumbing work.

They were great. Three very experienced guys were here most of the day, working efficiently, and they cleaned up.

We were very pleased. The plumber and his assistant were prompt, courteous, clean, efficient, well-spoken, and well-organized. They showed up when they said they would and finished within their time estimate. We are very satisfied with the quality of their work.

The owner, Scott, came to assess the problem, and the next day two workmen came and spent approx. 3 hours doing the work. Scott thoroughly explained the problem, and the options for repair. He arrived promptly for the appointment. Dave and Dave, who did the work, scheduled the repair around my schedule and my desire to have the job completed quickly (company coming!) They managed to do the job with the very minimum of structural damage. A small hole in the drywall behind the refrigerator and one in the back of a bathroom cabinet was it! They cleaned up after their work and left everything in good order. The price for the work was also very fair. It was from Angie's List that I found the name of Black Mountain Plumbing.

An appointment was made a day earlier. The representative from Black Mountain Plumbing (David) arrived within 15 minutes of the expected time. The job was done in about an hour and a half. He installed a faucet supplied by us. They supplied and replaced the angle stops and supply lines to the kitchen sink. The price listed is after a $20 discount from an Angie's List coupon.

They came in and recognized it. He also called and verified it with someone else, which I thought was a smart thing to do. There were no problems that occurred. He was on time and polite.

The repairs went quickly and smoothly. Scott and John located the leak almost immediately; because little time was required, (and because I'm an Angie's List client), Scott waived the $90 location fee. Scott and John work extremely fast and are both very pleasant to deal with. The total time for the job was 2-3 hours, I think. Scott mentioned that other plumbers might take much longer for a pipe re-routing, and although I have not dealt with plumbers that often, I have no reason to doubt his statement. Scott is the owner of the business and obviously enjoys working in the field; his decisiveness and welding skills were very evident. I also appreciated his pointing out the potential issues with the turn-off valve and hose bib; I am confident that it was a good decision to replace those to avoid future problems. As an added bonus for being an Angie's List client, Scott also waived the $55 out-of-area fee that he would normally charge for driving from Mira Mesa to Escondido.

After setting up the initial appointment, I realized that I had to reschedule. I left a message on their machine. The morning of the original appointment, Black Mountain Plumbing called to let me know that they were coming late. They hadn't checked their voice mail to see that I was rescheduling. They were pleasant although I couldn't keep the appointment.

John was very polite, called ahead of time as promised. He diagnosed the problem on the first visit (free estimate,) and then returned with a partner to perform the job. The first faucet was replaced (I provided the new faucet) and the installation charge was $137.65, plus angle stops for $96.20. He provided explanations and performed the work quickly. He charged an additional fee to replace the air gap. The second faucet required recaulking and he charged an installation fee for this as well (he explained that they have to do this every time they remove a faucet.) Unfortunately, the second faucet continued to leak and he had to return twice to fix the problem (once to diagnose it and the second time to completely replace the faucet again, I provided the new faucet.) He did not charge me for the last two visits since the problem was not fixed initially. Overall, I was pleased with his service and would use this company again.

Same day service, workmen were polite and efficient.

I had two other estimates (from Angie's List). It's being installed tomorrow by Bill Howe Plumbing. They were a very prompt and professional service. They gave an estimate and did the installation within a week.

Dave did the work on the shower and sink and did a fantastic job. He went through the repairs with me and cleaned up after the work was done. He also replaced the drywall with minimal damage so that it could be repaired easily by someone. During the estimate and scheduling of repair, they were very punctual and called ahead to give me exact times they would arrive. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Very pleasant, earnest, & helpful, although efficiency was fair (several times work was interrupted with phone calls/radio & took about 3 hours to do). The overflow valve was paid for by the homebuilder, but all work was done with diligence. As for price, it was market-priced & reasonable compared to other plumbers, but not "good". They do have coupons in the local mail that would have made that pricing "good".

Jeff was very efficient and completed the work with his partner in a lot less time than I expected. The price seemed high, but I had the exact same quote for the job from 2 different companies.

The plumber was early but called first to see if that was OK. Because I had used BMP before, and it was somewhat of an emergency situation, I did not compare prices.

The plumber came within 30 minutes of my initial call, was polite, and did an excellent job. I was very impressed, and would definitely use this company again.

Once again, Black Mountain Plumbing delivered as promised. They were on time, courteous and professional. Making an appointment for the work was easy, and they were flexible when the counters were not done on time as expected. I would definitely call them again for plumbing needs.

This company is very professional and friendly from making the appointment to performing the work. Scott Ferrell who owns the company was very thorough and pleasant. He double-checked and triple-checked for leaking after the installation. I will definitely call them again when plumbing projects arise.

Robert was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He was on time and called ahead. He completed the estimate and then the work in less than an hour. He also gave me suggestions for the installation of my new sink, which will be done in a few weeks. He recognized that the faucet I chose was a brand with which he had negative experience and suggested I look at some other models. I was very satisfied with the job and the estimates.

He spontaneously gave me information on a discount coupon and city program for rebates. He was extremely honest, and he charged what he quoted. He was also on time and polite.

THE PLUMBER CAME OUT AND COMPLETED THE WORK IN A TIMELY MANNER. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE KNEW HOW TO INSTALL THE NEW TUBING. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH HIS KNOWLEDGE.

I APPRECIATED THAT THE SCHEDULER GLADLY WORKED AROUND MY SON'S MID-MORNING SWIM CLASS. JOHN, THE PLUMBER WAS ON TIME, VERY POLITE AND WELL-GROOMED. HE SPENT TIME CONFIRMING THE PROBLEM AND EXPLAINING THE TEST. THE JOB WAS DONE QUICKLY AND COMPETENTLY, AND JOHN EVEN CLEANED UP THE WORK SITE.

BLACK MTN DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AT MY HOUSE OF INSTALLING NEW SINK. PLUMBER WAS ON TIME AND WORKED VERY CAREFULLY NOT TO DAMAGE MY GRANITE COUNTERTOP. PLUMBER WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. I JUST THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGH, HOWEVER THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK WAS EXCELLENT SO IN THE END THE COST WAS WORTH IT.
