Fantastic!! Found them on AL. Our water heater was leaking. We called 2 other places we have used in the past who either didn't answer or pushed us off and never called back. We called Black Mountain and they were there within the hour. We had more damage then we thought as it had leaked into a vent under the floor. Black Mountain to the rescue again. They took care of everything. They brought Gold Coast in and helped us take care of it all without a worry. This is the first home I have owned and I can tell you we will never use another company then Black Mountain Plumbing. They are the best.

We have a 4 unit Condo Complex and all units were complaining of low water pressure so I decided to call Black Mountain Plumbing due to their high rating on Angies List. John returned my call and was very considerate in fitting me in that same day. He stated he didn't want to give me an estimate by email until he knew for sure the issue. He came out and did a static pressure test and determined statically the correct pressure was coming into the building (50 PSI). But once he had me flush a toilet, with the system loaded, the pressure dropped to 15 PSI, which was unacceptable, and meant that the Water Pressure regulator was faulty. John at that point gave me an estimate based on completion of the job and not based on actual hours worked. The price wasn't cheap but has to account for some of the unknowns that can occur on any job, which I understand. John asked when I wanted to schedule the job and I stated today if at all possible. John then called his office to see if they had the 1 1/4" pressure regulator on the shelf, which they didn't. He didn't give up at that point. He requested one of the other workers to bring him some copper piping and 90's, and to go to one of their suppliers to pick up the required pressure regulator and deliver it to the work site. During the down time waiting for the pressure regulator and piping to show up, John removed the faulty pressure regulator in order to allow the pipes to leak out the excess water so it would be dry and ready for soldering. Once all the hardware showed up John replaced the pressure regulator in a professional and timely manner. He then went and verified the Dynamic pressure and made slight adjustments. John exceeded all my expectations getting the job done that day without leaving the premises. I truly appreciated his service. All the tenants are now happy and we owe it to Black Mountain Plumbing for a job well done. It's nice to know we still have companies out there that still care about their customers more than just the money. Thanks John.

We had a major problem on our hands. One that I had zero experience with. The receptionist who answered my call took down terrific notes and sent their tech who had the most experience with filtration systems as that seemed to be the culprit. That gave me much relief knowing we were in good hands. The problem was throughout the whole house. We actually had zero water flow suddenly flowing through one shower head. Then little beads flowing through another. Then, beads in the downstairs toilet. As if that wasn't enough, we then noticed half the water pressure at the kitchen sink. The occupants and I were shocked at how quickly so much of the plumbing was instantly disrupted. We were all puzzled and concerned over what had gone wrong. That is why I was so delighted when I was told that Larry would be out there that very day. As a matter of fact, because we had such a crises on our hands we were Larry's next scheduled visit! This eased my mind tremendously. Larry called when on his way, was curtious, and on top of the situation from beginning to end. He solved the problem like a pro. He discovered where the onset of the problem was and took his time explaining what caused it and what he needed to do to solve it. Once the job was approved, he began the job. Thank you, Larry, for working by the owner through the process, explaining the whole situation so thoroughly, and knowing how to solve this most complicated problem!! JOB WELL DONE!!!! Over the weekend I noticed a leak. I called Black Mountain and they walked me through what I should be looking for. They told me they could come out, although it would be at "emergency" rates, or to wait until Monday morning at 8am, it was up to me, but that it could probably wait. I really appreciated the honesty. Before I could even call them on Monday morning, they had followed up with me. They were at my house by 10am and everything was resolved in just a few hours.

Kevin Baucum, the plumber on the job showed up 45 minutes early, got the job done before he was even supposed to arrive, and was on his way in very short order. No mess, no fuss and water restored to the house. I was literally fixed within 2.5 hours of making the call to Black Mountain Plumbing. Very satisfied. - best part was that he was wearing an optic-yellow work shirt.. I could see him from the next zip code over.

Larry called me in the morning of the install to give me a ETA. He and his partner Solomon arrived and gave me a written estimate. I agreed to the work and within a couple of hours had both heaters installed. They plumbed it in to our recirculating system and they did a excellent job. They gave me instructions on how to relight them if needed. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Our kitchen instant hot water unit failed after only a few years of service. I called the manufacturer several times and each time was given the run-around by customer service reps who could barely speak English and said my unit was out of warranty. Larry from Black Mountain Plumbing came over and quickly diagnosed the problem as an obstruction inside the heater. He was punctual, polite, considerate and efficient. He called the manufacturer and wrestled with the customer service reps until finally they agreed to send me a new replacement unit for free! After it arrived, Larry came over again and in just a couple minutes we had instant hot water. We saved quite a bit of money using Black Mountain Plumbing. We paid $450 for the instant hot water unit including installation; the fee for Larry?s two visits was just $200 in all. Even more valuable to me however was Larry?s willingness to be a strong advocate on our behalf in convincing the manufacturer to replace a faulty unit for free even if it was out of warranty. I highly recommend Black Mountain Plumbing to anyone who needs superb plumbing service!

This company brought back my faith in Angie's List. We called them after Bill Howe stood us up. Not only was the young Kevin Bauchaum attentive and prompt, he was clear with locating the problem and offering an estimate. I figure that I should have gone to Black Mountain Plumbing first. He is working as I speak and I will finish this review when he is finished and the water is running, but it's nice to be reminded that customer service is not dead. I must remember that smaller companies have always been the best on Angie's List. Kevin is finished now and the work is complete. He has been a pleasure to work with and has been thorough! Years ago we had called another plumbing company to change out the tub spout in our spare bathroom. That company broke the pipe in the wall and wanted to charge us to fix it. I refused and had them cap the pipe off. I called Black Mountain Plumbing because of their excellent rating. They did not disappoint. They showed up on time, got right to assessing the work, explained the charge, and got right to work. The young man, did a great job installing threaded pieces that can be changed in the future. After the new pipe was installed, he instructed me to replace the titles around the pipe and call again to complete the work. He even gave me advise on how replace the tiles. A few days later, the same young man returned and finished installing the tube spout.

It went very well. I used their 15% off Angie's coupon. Plumber's can be very expensive. Based on past experiences with various plumbing companies, I believe this price was quite reasonable, plus I enjoyed the discount.

They are excellent. They are on time. I would recommend them.

Monday came and about 8:15am I was called. They said the plumber would be at my home between 10 and 2. He showed up at about 11 with the new water heater and began installation.Travis, the assigned plumber, checked the situation. Mine was a bit different since I have a solar panel and tank attached. He quickly figured out any differences and started the installation. Travis was friendly and answered all my many questions with no hesitation. He did an excellent installation job. He hauled away the old water heater and cleaned up after himself. I'm completely satisfied with Black Mountain Plumbing and the work performed by Travis. I would definitely use them again.

John got David to come over within the hour to fix the issue. They got the job done quickly and professional and I'm back to remodeling my new home. I would recommend these guys to all my friend.

Very fast arrival time and thorough work. Do wish, however, that if a job takes less than an hour, partial hourly rates would apply, but understand that's not the norm. Did use Angie's coupon, which helped some. Would certainly use Black Mtn Plumbing again, but hope not to need them every week!

Plumber was John, who arrived on time, completed the toilet install quickly and cleanly. The pop-up assembly was repaired (finish issues described above). He was polite, friendly, and reviewed the warranty thoroughly. We were happy with the work.

Didn't know the price quoted didn't include the "$18" that is already printed on their invoice for the service call. So... It really didn't cost $49. It was 49 + 18 = $67.00. Didn't buy the house. Wasn't because of his inspection. But, he did do a thorough job. Thought he was very competent. I would have been really satisfied with the service if I didn't have that $18 surprise.

Travis had proper fittings and got everything connected. Allowed us to turn on water again. Was able to do few remaining sinks next day and had water available with no interuptions.

I used Black Mountain Plumbing for a plumbing issue earlier this year. I had a very good experience so I called them again. The experience was great again. I called in the morning to schedule an appointment. Larry (plumber) was there in the afternoon. Larry identified the problem quickly and was able to fix the problem right away. Larry explained the problem and showed me everything that he replaced. I would definitely us Black Mountain Plumbing again.

Larry was the main plumber on the job, and Solomon came over to help out for most of the time too. Their price quote was almost exactly what I expected, since I knew it was going to be a big job. They got to work almost immediately after arriving, which was only a few hours after I called to request their help. They had great coordination among their team, since other plumbers arrived very quickly with all of the necessary equipment they needed while Larry kept working. Without me saying anything, they worked as if their priority was getting the water supply turned back on to my house ASAP. They made good progress on the first day, getting the driveway section cut and jack-hammered to start the new trench. They also dug most of the trench in my yard on the first day. On the next morning, they dug underneath my front walkway to avoid more unsightly concrete and brick-work to repair later. It wasn't easy, but they got it done. Finding the supply line for the sprinkler system was a major challenge too. We finally found the pipe about 15 feet away, so they dug another trench to connect that to the main. They go the water back on to the house and yard about 24 hours after they started the job. They cleaned everything up before leaving on the second day. Larry came back the following Monday to repair the concrete in the driveway. Larry and Solomon were very hard workers, and were determined to get the job done, even though they faced some hurdles along the way (thanks to the poor work and decisions of the original home-builders). They ended up doing extra work to find the sprinkler pipe, since we originally hoped and assumed they would run into it with the first trench (but it couldn't be found). They stuck to their original quote, and didn't charge me any extra for the additional trenching and time to find the sprinkler supply pipe. I know some reviewers give them a lower grade on pricing because they feel that they are expensive, but considering all of the work that they did, and the quality of their work, the price was very fair in this case. For this type of major repair, I'd rather pay more money and be very comfortable that it is going to be fixed properly. This was the second time that I used Black Mountain Plumbing (first time was due to Angie's List reviews), and this second time I didn't hesitate to call them again. I sure hope I'm done with all of my water problems, but if I need help again, I'll definitely call Black Mountain. They are very courteous, professional, and hard working; they keep you in the loop at all times, and they always call before they show up to let you know they are on their way.

As described above the service was excellent and David is a credit to the profession ! I would highly recommend Black Mountain Plumbing to anyone! They were prompt, friendly and professional!

Our water heater light was not staying on so there was no hot water. We didn't notice this until later in the evening when doing the dinner dishes. I called Black Mountain Plumbing and someone was able to come out the next day. I agree with some of you reviews that the cost of this minor repair should not so high. I was just glad to have hot water again so quickly.

I found them to be very honest, and thorough. I plan on using them in the future.

Company is run very professionally, from the person who schedules appointments to the plumber who makes the repairs. The people I dealt with were courteous and efficient and I'm very happy with the end result.

I wasn't there but my son was there when they did the work.

Don't call this company if you have any "easy" fix. They will rob you! Do make sure they complete all the paperwork with and estimate prior to doing any work.
