Travis did an excellent job. He did some quick troubleshooting to determine the exact cause of the problem. Once he determined where the leak was occurring, he made a speedy repair. Fortunately he had the parts needed on his truck. I have used Black Mountain Plumbing before and have always been happy with the service.

I called Black Mountain (BM) to have someone come out and replace a faucet set and a toilet stool (both of which I had purchased) in our guest bathroom. They gave me a window of 10 to 2 on Mon., Nov 26. By 3:15 no one had shown up so I called and rescheduled for the next day with a window of 8:30 to 9:30. At precisely 8:30, Solomon arrived to do the work. He was exceptionally courteous and accomplished both tasks very professionally. All ratings would have been A had it not been for the need to reschedule. I will probably use BM in the future.

My tenant turned off the water, then reported the problem to me and I called Black Mountain Plumbing. My husband wanted a plumber that night; but they encouraged us to wait until morning when they could see better and not disturb the tenant and neighbors. They saved us a lot of money by coming in the morning. The water leak turned out to be the irrigation pipe In this economy some companies set aside ethics and concern for their customers to bring in cash. I saw for myself that Black Mountain and Larry were too ethical to take advantage of our stress to make extra money. Larry is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable. All-in-all, he is an excellent representative of Black Mountain. We will definitely call Larry at Black Mountain when we need a plumber again.

Again, I was blown away by Black Mountain Plumbing. Great service and price and great customer service. John came out and had known our condo from earlier work for the site and was incredible in his responsiveness and attention to detail. I am really happy that I've found a company I can call on to take care of any of my plumbing needs! Thanks Black Mountain Plumbing!

.They scheduled a 12-2pm window.. At 2:50 I called the office and they contacted their employee and told me he was in route. Around 3pm I received a voice mail messag from the employee that he was 30-45 minutes out. When he finally arrived, he determined the wax ring had a leak and toilet had to be removed. He recommended the rigid connection on the fill line be replaced with a flex hose..He didn't have the correct replacement hose and had to replace the angle stop with one that matched the hose he had. After every thing was back together the leak was cured, but when he left, it was around 5 pm. They need to work on their scheduling and parts stock on their trucks.

Travis came out and fixed a leak in the copper pipe that fed to our hose bib. It was a very difficult place to repair, as he had to cut a hole in the drywall inside the garage and get at it from the inside. Nonetheless, Travis made quick work of it and did a great job.

Based on Angie's List recommendations, I called Black Mountain Plumbing (BMP) to fix a stopped up drain in our laundry room that was causing the washing machine to flood the floor a couple of times in each wash cycle. I also wanted them to look at some areas where we had had a previous flood, which looked like it came from where the metal pipe from the toilet goes into the wall. (I had previously used another plumber required by our home warranty insurance, who "surprisingly" found nothing - or at least nothing that the insurance would cover.) Solomon from BMP arrived on time and was both friendly and professional. He looked at the leak areas and we discussed possible causes and how to deal with them. Since nothing is currently active he was reluctant to spend my money to, as he put it, "chase the water." He recommended a good flood cleaning and restoration company to address the damages that were caused by the previous bathroom flood. Then, after partly cycling the washing machine several times he diagnosed that there was indeed a blockage (that the other plumber couldn't find) and gave me a quote to unclog it. Turns out that pipe is connected to the shower and toilet in my teenage daughters' bathroom as well, which explains a few things! :-) The washing machine is currently running as I write this, and there is the blissful sound of silence instead of a waterfall. I would highly recommend BMP to anyone. They responded quickly (even though it was not a major emergency), and were both friendly and helpful on the phone and in person. Solomon asked me several times if I had any questions and patiently answered those I did have. Although plumbers are expensive he worked quickly and efficiently and with an Angie's discount I thought the price was reasonable.

Honestly was disappointed. It was pretty clear almost from the beginning that the reason for the visit was to find something that needed doing so they could charge more. The person who came was generally nice enough, and seemed to know what he was doing. But also seemed to be looking only at plumbing things that tend to break or be a problem. He skipped some plumbing, and so I asked him to go back and check it and he said "well, OK if you want..." ... which just seemed so strange...well, yes, I want, that's what I thought I purchased! In the end, he didn't find anything and as he was going through the house, it seemed he sped up as he was going and finding that our plumbing was generally OK so not worth his time. The water heater flush was simply hooking up a hose to the water heater and letting all the water out. Then running more water through. It was also clear I could easily do this, which he confirmed when I asked him. So, all in all, I didn't feel like he had my best interest in mind, and wasn't really truly "inspecting" as "looking for more work". I do have a sense this company is a good one, just feel this "whole house inspection" may not be worth it and/or could be handled better by them.

I am very impressed. Soloman and Travis came out to repair my water heater with what I thought was approval of my insurance company. When the Insurance company retracted their previous approval (and also offered to reimburse me for paying for the one hour service call) Soloman and Travis informed their supervisor and didn't charge me at all. OK, so I have never worked with a company that could have charged me and would have been reimbursed, but decided not to? Amazing integrity and professionalism! Great company to work with! I will never go anywhere else!

First, Kathy was so very helpful on the phone, getting us a fast and convenient appointment time. She understood we were in a bit of a hurry as we were toward the end of the 17-day period for home inspection after having a bid accepted. Their prices were competitive as well. Larry showed up in the time frame we were given, he was professional, helpful and efficient. He talked me through each of the 3 pipes we looked into with the camera, describing what we were looking for, and what he found. His written summary at the end of the appointment was helpful and complete. One minor thing... I had asked about a DVD recording of the work when booking the job, but the equipment that came out to the house was not able to film one. It ended up being unnecessary, and it did not effect my rating, as Black Mountain Plumbing did a fantastic job accommodating our tight time frame and getting us the pertinent information we needed about the house. I would definitely use their services again without hesitation.

Travis was great and easy to work with. Quickly diagnosed the problem and provided estimate. Had to re-glue elbow joint, which required wait time while glue dried. Instead of sitting around, helped out vacuuming excess water, giving additional insight into our irrigation system and providing recommendation should issue pop up in the future. Very good experience and would definitely recommend Black Mountain Plumbing and Travis again.

I had a toilet leak, and the tank was refilling every 15 minutes or so. I had a similar leak in this toilet about 6 months ago, so I called Black Mountain Plumbing, who did the original repair. We scheduled an appointment. Solomon came out to diagnose the problem. The original leak was the flapper, but this time it was the gasket between the tank and bowl. Solomon gave me the details and estimate for the repairs, but also gave me some estimates for replacing the toilet, depending on the model. I decided to replace it and, after doing some research, selected a model and placed my order with black Mountain Plumbing. When the new toilet came in, they called to schedule an appointment to install it. Travis arrived and checked out the situation and gave me a final estimate for the new toilet and installation. As he was unloading the toilet from his truck, he heard something ?funny? and opened the box to find the toilet was broken. Travis put it back in the truck and took it down to get a replacement. He returned about an hour later and completed the installation, removing the old toilet and putting the new one in its place. From a previous leak in the wax ring, the linoleum flooring had been damage and curled up on the edges. Travis was able to install the toilet such that the previous damage is now invisible. The cost was as originally estimated, which was the cost of the toilet, plus about $30 to buy the toilet for me and about $190 for installation. No charge for the broken toilet issues. They mentioned an Angie?s List discount which took 10% off. Considering the issues that arose, the work was timely and professional. Thanks guys.

All in all, the estimate process went well. The guy from Black Mountain was a nice guy, but I wouldn't bother calling them again. Too high. The guys who did the job were a third of the price and did a good job. I would call them back.

This was the first time I had used Angies List and was extremely pleased, Larry the Plumber was on time, provided a detailed estimate, extremely courteous and provided exceptional service. I had three minor jobs for him to perform and all were completed in a timely and professional manner. Can't say enough about the service and positive experience. Would recommend Black Mountain Plumbing (especailly Larry) to anyone and without a doubt will use them in the future for all my plumbing needs. Great job, Lyle

The office was very helpful in helping us to decide on the best approach for detecting the leak and saving money. I called them 3 or 4 times and they answered all my questions. When we did decide to have them come out, they came the same day. Solomon was our plumber and he was friendly, knowledgable and hard working. He was able to determine the site of the leak which was over 4 feet below the ground. It was a tight space and he did his best to minimize the amount of damage to the landscaping. We were able to see the significant leak in the water main and then Solomon repaired the pipe. Solomon was very patient with questions and worked in an efficient manner.

Overall experience was excellent, work was completed quickly, price was affordable, and Solomon was very professional. After the water was turned back on I had noticed that the kitchen faucet was not working. I called Solomon back and he helped me over the phone in figuring out what the problem was and getting started on fixing it. I will definitely be calling them again for all my plumbing needs.

Larry was prompt and professional. He took care of what needed to be done and found me some cheaper options in a couple of cases. He left me with two leak detectors, which I certainly appreciated. He also took the time to go around and check and tighten bathtub faucets and tell me about other items that I might want to consider in the future. It wasn't cheap, coming out to around $325 for about 1.5 hours of work including the 15% Angie's List discount, but he did a good job.

The plumbing representative, Solomon, was excellent. He explained everything that would happen at every stage of the process. He was able to quickly isolate and diagnose the problem, and provide a reasonable solution. He resolved the issue, and the Meter Box is currently bone dry.

Robert did a great job. He was pleasant and professional, as was everyone I spoke with in the office. When one of my toilets started running again after the repair, Robert came back the next day and fixed it under warranty.

We talked to many plumbers about our issue. We weren't sure whether to go tankless or tradtional tank. We felt that John was very informative and helped us make the right decision.

You know how you always want to find that plumber that: 1. doesn’t clean you out on the up sell, 2. shows up when he says he's going too, 3. gets stuff done in a quick and professional manner? Yeah. I found him. He works for Black Mountain Plumbing. I discovered that after the most excellent work that the two plumbers that came to re-pipe my house that my back yard irrigation wasn't working. I called up and was given over to one of the plumbers that had come over to my house on Friday. Travis told me he would be there after I got off work and he did. After a quick investigation he found what had happened and set about getting it taken care of. No hassle, no attitude, actually he was very pleasant and was very knowledgeable and explained to me some of the stuff he was doing in making the repairs. I know Black Mountain knows that Travis is a valuable asset; I hope that if you give them your business, you will get to meet him as well. I finally have a top notch optometrist, dentist and now I'm super satisfied with my new pipes, my new water heater and my new top notch plumber. Hopefully I will never have another plumbing problem but if I do I’m calling Black Mountain Plumbing and I'm asking for Travis.
