A call to Black Mountain Plumbing was answered by a human - impressive!! An appointment was made and kept by the owner, who made a thorough investigation of our requirements, made recommendations and provided a written estimate the next day. An appointment was made and kept to sign the agreement and a date was set to perform the work. Work began on the promised date and finished the next. day. All scrap material was removed and the place was left clean on both work days. Everything worked exactly as Scott described and is now performing well two weeks later. We were favorably impressed with the people who came into our home from Black Mountain Plumbing.

We had a slab leak under our hardwood floors. My wife was freaking out. Black Mtn Plumbing found a way around having to mess up the floors, they were in and out, done before my wife was home.

I called and spoke with Kathy earlier this afternoon to request service. Travis just came out soon after to fix a leak coming from under the kitchen sink that I noticed today. It seemed like it was coming from everywhere and the base board under the sink was soaked. Travis was great. Super personable and straightforward about the issue. He detected the problem right away and gave me an estimate to fix it. He didn't try to make it into something more than the actual problem and because of this I was confident with him and the job he did. I will definitely use Black Mountain when needed again, but hopefully for something proactive rather than a problem. He asked how I found BMP and I mentioned AL so I was able to print out a coupon for the service. He tried to explain to me what the issue might have been caused by, but I have no idea what he was talking about so he said that my husband could call him anytime if he wanted to know the details. All around a great experience.

Solomon called to let me know his previous job was running late, so he ended up arriving about 30 minutes after the end of the time window I was given. But my schedule was flexible, and the communicaiton was great, so no problem. I showed him the two projects and he got straight to work, working late into the evening, and accommodating my schedule with my 1-year-old in terms of starting in areas I didn't need in order to stay out of our way. He was quick. He communicated well. He consulted me on settings to make sure the shower head was installed how I wanted it. The job was actually pretty complex, and it looks great! I'm very happy. It was pretty expensive, but not something I could have done myself, so oh well. This is the 2nd time I have used Black Mountain Plumbing, and I will certainly use them again in the future.

I called Black Mountain Plumbing to set up an appointment and they were able to get me in the very next morning. I had a bathroom sink that was clogged and I had cleared out the clog only to realize that the pop up assembly was cracked. The sink started to leak slowly. I had tried to fix the problem myself and even tried replacing part of the assembly myself only to have it still leaking from another section. I had Solomon Nwosu come out from Black Mountain Plumming and he was on time and very professional. I explained to him the problem and also told him of some other issues in my house that he looked at. I had previously had someone tell me that I needed to replace the values leading to my washer and dryer as they were "a flood ready to happen." I showed Solomon and he told me that he had seen way worse and that they really didn't need replacing yet. He said that the job would be about $200 but that he wouldn't do it if it were his house. I really respected his honesty and not trying to upsell at every opportunity. I also showed him a few other little things that he explained to me as not big issues or normal noises from pipes. The last item that I showed him was that the hot water side of the sink that was leaking had very little pressure. He told me he could inspect and clean the housing first and then only replace it as needed. He first fixed the leak under the sink and replaced the pop up assembly super fast. He then inspected the hot water assembly and found that is only had debris that was causing it to have low pressure. So, he just cleaned it out and put it back together and didn't charge extra for that. Again, I would expected an upsell and saying that is needed to be replaced but he just did what needed to be done. Everything went smoothly and efficiently and I could not be more pleased with the result. I would definitely use Black Mountain Plumbing and Solomon again!

As stated before when I made the appointment I originally planned on just getting a water heater flush and home plumbing inspection. However, once they arrived and we discussed it I decided to replace the water heater.

Service man arrived on schedule and did a professional job.

Dave quickly assessed and diagnosed that the leak came from my upstairs shower head. It took him only one hour to complete the whole project. I appreciate his efficiency, professionalism and honesty.

Overall, my experience with Black Mountain Plumbing has been exceptional. Both times I've called, the people I've talked to have been friendly, professional, and helpful. I was able to schedule an appointment promptly and received an 8-noon appointment window. Larry called at 8:15 to let me know he'd be there by 8:30. He was knowledgeable and professional. He provided a written estimate for all the work I was considering, including a new water heater. I elected to have a leaky garden faucet replaced on the spot and will soon schedule an appointment for the water heater.

Definitely customer friendly and, as I said, I will call them again next time something comes up (and definitely request David).

Okay, this is the second day in a row I have had Black Mountain Plumbing to my home. I was so impressed with the home inspection David did that I realized I needed a professional to clear my toilet clog. The cast iron pipes in our early 60's adobe home were suspect so after the drain cleaning, I elected to have the camera used to see for myself what their condition was. Let me tell ya, Solomon is NOT PAID ENOUGH ! He bent over this behemoth of a machine feeding cable down the pipes for over 80' and then pulled it all back and then sent it through again. He then sent the camera down and we spent an hour checking every connection and traced the path of the pipes under the slab with a locator device that followed the path of the camera head. This thing is right out of Buck Rogers. I now know where the drains run under my slab and was relieved to see that my pipes are in good condition. This peace of mind is worth every penny I spent. After Solomon finished he remarked that he noticed my water pressure was pretty low and so he grabbed his pressure gauge and hooked it to a hose bib. Sure enough, my pressure was way low. Solomon showed me where the pressure regulator was and how to change it out. No high pressure (pardon the pun) up sell, just friendly help. I mentioned to Solomon how impressed I am with Black Mountain Plumbing and he told me how much he enjoyed working there. Our representative was Larry. He called to inform me when he was on his way. He looked under our sink and immediately found more problems than what we originally had intended for him to fix. He fixed everything he found with a great attitude and good work ethic. After he was done, he explained thoroughly what he fixed and even looked at another sink in one of our bathrooms to give us an estimate and explain what needed fixing. He was professional and polite and my husband and I are very pleased with the service we received. We will definitely think of Black Mountain Plumbing if we ever need plumbing services again.

Robert came down promptly early in the morning, a really friendly guy, he explained the work to be done, and did an excellent cleanup after himself. Both jobs took approximately 2 hrs. The speed and quality of the work was really great on top of his friendly personality but it wasn't cheap. When it comes to contractors I think you get what you pay for though. Poor craftsmanship and quality results in more money down the road. Overall I'd recommend both Black Mtn. and Robert.

Altogether a very satisfactory experience.

I woke up in the am went outside and noticed water gushing from my lawn onto sidewalk and into street. Shut off both inside water (did nothing) and at street which stopped flow. I looked up plumbers on Angie's list and saw Black Mountain as number 1 in my area. They accommodated my wifes schedule for later afternoon. The plumber, Soloman, my wife raved about how nice and professional he was. He spent 5 hours here on the big job and did a smaller job since he was already here. Overall a great experience with the company.

Our drains starting backing up on Christmas day and by the day after we were unable to use any plumbing without it backing up--a real emergency. I expected Black Mountain to tell me their schedule was full as others had, but they came out within the time frame specified, and diagnosed and treated the drain blockage in a very professional and efficient manner. We relieved to have clear drains back in the house. And as a bonus, we feel we have a plumbing business we can call again with confidence in the results.

I was having water pressure and hot water issues so I paid for a Whole House Plumbing Inspection and Water Heater Flush. I agreed to an increase because I have a tankless water heater which was fine but they were unable to do the service because I had the wrong connections. Then it was $90 more because I have a raised foundation and all my plumbing is underneath the house, the fee was for extra insurance or something. They didn't seem very interested in diagnosing my water pressure problems, in fact the guy who showed up was more of an estimator than a plumber. In the end I paid $175 for Black Mountain Plumbing to give me a very expensive estimate with no ideas on what my problem could be. They basically told me I lived in an old house and it is what it is. I did not receive a refund for the water heater flush even though they never did it. I called another company who came out the same day diagnosed and fixed the problem for way less money... also the estimate was FREE. I do not recommend Black Mountain Plumbing unless you have money to burn and don't care if the job is being done right.

Overall Solomon from Black Mountain Plumbing did a great job. I will use BMP again for plumbing needs.

The inspection was done very professionally. Very meticulous in all aspects re: operation of same. A written report was made with recommendations for actions that needed attention / correction. The firm doing the inspection is in San Diego. A local plumber was hired to remedy problems noted. I think Black Mountainm however, would have done a far better job in repairs. At the time impatient to have the work done ASAP / sorry for that.

5' The first time they came out our water heater would not work. Larry the technical fixed it and we did not have to replace it. The second time the water heater went out at our rental and it did have to be replaced. I called they went out and replaced it the same day! The next call was a leak out at the meter of the rental. Unfortunately it was on our side and they put in a new valve and pressure regulator. The next time was that I broke the valve under the sink in the kitchen trying to install the water line on the frig for the ice maker. They replaced two valves under the sink and replace something on the toilet. The last time last week was the main line on the rental. It was a stoppage that went out about 75' and they were able to clear it without to much trouble. I love it I just call and they go out ASAP.
