Travis arrived on time, examined both toilets. He reset the one and told me that I should see how the Master bedroom toilet worked after adjustment. It turns out we will need to replace it with a new one. We will call them to do the work.

It worked out fine. Everything is now working. I called the day before and they came the next day to do the work. Larry was very courteous and knowledgeable at what he was doing. The garbage disposal does not lay flat it does stick up a little. I am not sure if that is normal my last one did not. They also did not push unnecessary work.

WE ARE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICES OF THIS COMPANY. WE HAVE HAD HOWE PLUMBING OUT TO DO REPAIRS FOR THIS SAME ISSUE AT LEAST 5 TIMES. HOWE PLUMBING NEVER TOLD US WE SHOULD REMOVE AND REPLACE THE PIPE, THEY JUST WOULD FILL THE HOLE AND THEN ANOTHER ONE WOULD START TO LEAK. WHEN BLACK MOUNTAIN CAME OUT TO GIVE US A BID THE VERY FIRST THING THEY SAID WAS IT WOULD BE BETTER IF WE REPLACED THE PIPE SO THE LEAKS WOULD NOT KEEP HAPPENING. WE ALSO GOT A BID FROM HOWE WHO DID NOT GIVE US THE SAME ADVISE. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK AND WE THANK THE EMPLOYEE FROM BLACK MOUNTAIN FOR SAVING US MONEY. WE WILL ALWAYS GET BIDS FROM THEM FROM NOW ON.

After thorough investigation, Solomon determined that the burner need to be removed and carefully cleaned. The water heater is in the same area as our clothes dryer and there was a lot of dust under the water heater. He thoroughly cleaned the burner and replaced it. We now have hot water and are very pleased at the service we received from Solomon and Black Mountain Plumbing. It was efficient, reasonably priced, professional, and painless. Bravo!

After Travis did such a great job on our laundry room shut off valves and pressure regulator I decided to call BMP to come back out to change the ice maker line for our refrigerator. Another plumber had rigged something up that just didn't look right and it has always bothered me. I asked Travis to put in the proper fixture. He put in a recessed box with the correct type of fixture and it's beautiful. I'm really glad I called.

We had a leak that was originating from the laundry room shut off valves and our pressure regulator was bad. Travis came out and changed the pressure regulator and the shut off valves. He was on time and courteous and he completed the work quickly. I would definitely recommend BMP to my friends.

I usually ask for Robert but today Solamon was sent out to my call. Solamon is extremely polite, efficient and did an excellent job. Overall both Robert and Solamon are both very honest individuals who do fantastic work. Black Mountain Plumbing is the best! -Michael

Travis and Joel did a very professional work - they explained the details of the work before executing, and made sure the job was done to satisfaction. I would definitely recommend them.

I think it was just fine but I didn't end up purchasing any more services from them. I think they said there weren't any major problems after they did the inspection. So I didn't get any more work done.

Arrived on time, went through all bathrooms, kitchen sink, and washer hookup. Inspected and flushed the water heater. Recommended minor fix for one toilet. Was very polite and professional.

Black Mountain was the 3rd plumber i called to fix my problem. The first 2 plumbers said they could not unplug the drain and that they needed to install a drain cleanout and that the cost would be over $500. When Larry and Daniel arrived from Black Mountain they immediately knew what to do. They arrived on time and said they were sure they could clear the drain . . . and they did in less than 10 minutes! They were prompt and courteous and i had them also fix two small drain problems in the bathroom that had been malfunctioning for some time. They had all the needed materials and fixed everything to my satisfaction. This was my first experience with Angies List and i will never call for help again without consulting Angie. Thanks Black Mountain, for an excellent experience.

BMP removed and hauled away an existing water filtration system. Installed new system with a replacement water pressure regulator. The water filter came ready to plumb from Pelican but had its input/output valves reversed from the existing system. This required some re-engineering of the input/output water lines (cutting and soldering). Larry did an outstanding job recreating the new "manifold"....clean, neat, no leaks....very professional work.

The work was solid, the old valve was so bad that it had the entire house rumbling whenever there was running water. Now the house is quiet. They checked the water pressure at all faucets to make sure the new one was adjusted correctly. All the work took about 1 1/2 hours. I bought the Angie's List deal for whole inspection and water heater flush for $49, and used a 10% off coupon on repairs that Black Mountain Plumbing was offering exclusively to Angie's List members. They were prompt, professional and very nice. I have found my plumber.

I know the flapper in the toilet was messed up but he said he would have to change everything out, which was fine but i don't understand the policy of charging the same amount of money for changing out 1 or 3 things together. But I guess policy is policy. Overall good experience

The man who came was very effcient. When I called to make the appointment, the girl misunderstood and thought I wanted an estimate, but I wanted the work done. Luckily he had all the parts and was able to fix it on the spot.

I choose Black Mountain Plumbing because during the bidding process Dave Boyer, the plumber who wrote up the bid for the work at my home, possessed years of experience which came through by the creative engineering he used in planning to fix my under-slab hot waterline leak problem. He could think out of the box, which the other bidders did not do. Dave Boyer and Travis Morgan showed up at my home on time for the three days they needed to work on my plumbing. They both worked hard, smart and did everything per what the building code requires and I felt they went over and above what they had to do to give me good service and wonderful final results. They both did what they said they would do and showed me tons of grace when I kept adding more work for them as I saw what it took to do the hard and dirty job it was to replace all my under-slab copper pipes. They were wonderful to work with and we felt very special by the way they treated my wife and I. For the work I got done on my home, I received a lower bid from another company, but after I witnessed Dave Boyer and his creative gentle manner and knowledge I knew I wanted Black Mountain Plumbing to do the work on my home and not settle for the lower bidder since I have done that in the past and it has not always gone well. I would have them do more for me in the future and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Travis from Black Mountain plumbing came out to look at two separate jobs at my home. He gave me advice around the first job that basically stopped me from doing the work I had called him out for. The second job was to replace a hot water circulation pump that had gone bad. Travis came with the right parts, performed the service flawlessly, and was professional throughout. I was surprised by the cost of the job, but that is not his fault. He also recommended putting in two shutoff valves with the pump to comply with the building codes and make it easier to repair the pump in the future. He reminded me to print the coupon from Angie's list to get 10% off - saving me $70 Over all high quality experience.

We wanted write this review mainly due to the excellent customer service Black Mountain Plumbing provided. We called their company late in the evening and was received by a call service which took our information and were informed we would be contacted by the company the following day (since this was not an emergency) to schedule a technician visit. Their technician, Larry, arrived the following day to help us with our garbage disposal that had been out of commission due to food debris. Larry took care of the problem very quickly and then stayed to answer questions we had regarding how we could avoid the problem in the future. He was very considerate and cleaned up before leaving. Price was reasonable, especially with the discount they give to AL members. We would definitely call their service for any future plumbing needs.

My 8+ year old water heater sprung a few leaks so I decided it was time to replace it. I sent Black Mountain Plumbing pictures and measurements of my current 40 gal water heater and we confirmed that I could fit a 50 gal tank. Two guys arrived to install the water heater. I found them both to work efficiently and professionally. Since my water pressure was high and my pressure regulator was old we decided to replace it. As a bonus there's a discount for Angie's List members. A week and a half later and everything looks good.

I had two other plumbing companies come out to try to fix our plumbing problems in the past. Both were unsuccessful. I called Black Mountain Plumbing after reading their reviews on Angie's List. I was able to get an appointment on a day and time that was convenient for me. Daniel and Larry arrived on time. Getting the lid off the check valve was very difficult but they were able to do it and got the job completed in an hour! I am extremely satisfied with Black Mountain Plumbing. Larry and Daniel were professional and personable. I will definitely recommend the company to family, friends and neighbors!

The sales guy is hands-on and did some of the work. The lead technician is experienced, but/hence didn't enjoy different opinion/suggestions very much. Still he did a very good job, and became cordial after the work was done. The cleaned up the space reasonably well, burning up the splash water. The system holds well so far.
