We had no hot water and they fit us in on the same day. We also were in an emergency situation and they kindly waited for us for 15 minutes before we could get back home to meet them. They were super nice and courteous throughout the process. Found the issue and replaced the thermocoupler and waited around to check to make sure the problem was fixed. I cannot recommend them more.

Took two visits to replace shower cartridge and stem cover, but Robert was professional and the parts were hard to obtain. Completely satisfied with service.

Travis was punctual and professional. Our kitchen sink wasn't draining and he cleared it quickly and efficiently. Very courteous and would use them again.

Travis called before he arrived - and arrived exactly on time. We reviewed the problem. He gave us options for solving the problem, including pro's and con's of each alternative. Once we decided what action to take, he went to work promptly. The result was totally professional - solved the problem and improved the appearance of the front of the house greatly. Calling Black Mountain Plumbing - and working with Travis - was certainly the best decision I've made this week! I highly recommend this organization.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out well. He found out some things that were wrong and we went ahead and purchased that aside. So I did spend more than the $49 deal for an issue I already knew I had.

What started out as a simple inspection turned into a major plumbing job. David of Black Mountain Plumbing was always on time, kept us informed of what was going on and made sure he had estimates before starting the work. Instead of a few days, it turned into a two week job. They completely replaced all water/waste pipes underneath the house, replaced the water heater and inistalled a new subfloor in my mother's bathroom along with a new pan underneath the shower. We were very happy with the work. All of the people were very nice and professional. Would recommend Black Mountain Plumbing anytime. Will certainly use them again in the future.

Owner was nice on the phone and able to send a plumber out within a few days on a non-emergency call. Plumber, Travis, was on time and professional. Only problem was I was quoted $200-$400 over the phone and had to negotiate down to a nearly $1,200 bill! Not sure I would use them again for that reason, but the workmanship seemed good.

A great experience! David came out for the initial visit. He was thorough and provided insight into repairs/replacements that should be made to prevent future plumbing issues. I originally just thought I needed some toilets with running/flushing issues repaired. David noticed that the water lines and stops were of very inferior quality. All the materials, including the toilets were the lowest quality that today's homebuilders install to save them money. He made great recommendations for reasonable priced upgrades, providing various pricing levels. Larry and Daniel came out the next week and replaced 2 toilets and re-built the insides of a third. They were polite, prompt and so efficient. In less than 2 hours any concerns I had about plumbing were gone! God Bless You.

Black Mountain Plumbing came out to estimate the job 5 days after I called: it was their earliest available date. I got the actual estimate via email a week later. I scheduled the job but the part (the sink) didn't come in, so the appointment was re-scheduled for 6 days later. I got a call at 7:45 the morning of that appointment from the technician saying the part was 'somewhere in transit' and he would let me know when I could re-schedule. Since I didn't hear from them, I cancelled the job the following afternoon. The day after I cancelled the job, I finally got a call from the technician saying the part was in.

This is our second call to Black Mountain Plumbing. We have been very impressed with all aspects of their service. Our upstairs guest bathroom was leaking through to the garage. Solomon did a cursory check and let me know before doing anything further what might be necessary, i.e. cutting into the drywall, but that he would not know until he took the face plate off the shower handle and looked inside. Of course, as with any plumbing problem, we anticipated an expensive fix. However, once he removed the face place, he saw where the leak was, gave me the estimate before doing the work (replacing a sleeve), which was less than I had anticipated. He quickly fixed the problem and no more water problems! He was extremely professional and nice. I am soooo impressed with this company and highly recommend them!!!!

Actually, this is where he gets the kudos. I had bought this because I was concerned about a noise that I had just begun to hear in the laundry room. It seemed to come from the sink, so I had turned off the water to the sink, but the noise persisted. After doing the inspection, and making some key points, he returned to the laundry room. He suggested that the there was a leak. He gave me 2 names to help me determine the extent of the problem. Both of them are Angie's List people as well. With his suggestion, I contacted Gold Coast Flood and Mold Specialists to determine the damage and C.P.L. (Cable, Pipe and Leak Detection) to find the leak. With these 3 excellent businesses, I am now in the process of resolving this potentially costly problem. Although we are still working to correct, I have to say if Black Mountain had not come so soon after I purchased the service, and if they did not have suggestions on how to proceed, this could have been a really messy situation. Thanks to Black Mountain Plumbing, Gold Coast and C.P.L for their teamwork and advice.

Black Mountain Plumbing did a great providing me with an overall great experience. From the time I made my inital call to speak with the service rep to the time the the Plumber (Travis) completed the installation of my water heater. The service call was great. Took my information and had no problem scheudling around my scheudle Travis (the plumber) was fantastic. Showed up on time, very professional and very helpful. He actually recommended that I go to Angie's list and print out a coupon to save $80. Addittionally he provided me with all the necessary information I needed to know about the water heater. Addtionally, Travis was very quick and effiecient. Obviosly the expectation was that he would be here for two hours to do the install and was actually much quicker. We looked into BLP to run a gas line to our kitchen for a new stove. John came to our house for the estimate. We had hoped it would be a lot cheaper than quoted, but he was very good about explaining why the cheaper alternate wasn't feasible instead of just giving us the up-sell spiel, and how it could be done but wouldn't be legal for various code issues. We appreciated his candor, and while the estimate ended up being 3 times what we had hoped to pay we decided to go with them. They were on time, professional, and kept the area clean. I was happy with the quality of the service and the work was done right.

Very well. Personnel were courteous, professional, competent, honest and hard-working. When unforeseen circumstances arose they were able to think through alternatives and implement them. Even though a couple surprises came into play, they nevertheless completed the job within the timeline they had estimated. They also took the time to answer my questions about how the system operates as well as walking me through the house to test out our systems operation and the resulting improvement in out water pressure. Very happy, will call again.

They were professional and on time. They gave accurate quotes for work that needs to be done. They were suppose to do a water heater flush, but they didn't do it because the anchor was too old and we are going to replace it.

I live in Palm Springs but own a triplex in San Diego. I need a plumber I can trust to handle any problems at the property and make recommendations without my having to drive back and forth to check myself. The staff at Black Mountain are very understanding of my situation and are terrific at explaining any plumbing problems in detail and provide me with detailed estimates that have been reasonable in price and not loaded with unnecessary extra work. On one occasion, they had to return to the property for follow up work when a tenant wasn't home and didn't charge me extra for the second trip as most other plumbers would. When I mentioned that I found them on Angie's List, they told me about the discount coupons there which I had missed. The office staff and the plumbers are all very nice to do business with. I highly recommend them.

Robert responded within 10 minutes after leaving the message with the service on Sunday. After considerable discussion on the problem he agreed to come over and at least get far enough to get water turned back on to the house. He arrived and was able to replace the valve that was leaking and turn the water back on and will return later to complete the repair after he gets additional parts when his supply stores are open.

A blown water heater is not without problems. It was blocked so could not be drained. They had to drag a very heavy unit outside to dump the water. They also installed quick turnoffs to all the water inlets, and it was a warm day. Robert and Solomon worked very hard to get everything ship-shape and working beautifully.

Andy from Black Mtn. Plumbing came out one hour after I called. Andy got in under the sink, looked for leaks and ran the faucet. I told him about the problem and he then started to look at the workings of the faucet (Hans Grohe) and he found a loose nozzle connection that comes out on a 4 ft. hose to spray water all over the sink and rinse dishes. He hand tightened the connection and then ran the water on and off. No leak ! He then blew into the faucet housing and there was trapped water that came out under the faucet into the cabinet under the sink. After that there was not a drip. I could kick myself for not noticing that ! Great service from Black Mountain Plumbing, a 10% coupon from Angie's List help knock $10 off of bill.

Called at around 9:30 am to inquire about their services. Receptionist was attentive and friendly. Asked if they could come out the same day and they were able to accommodate. Dave and Adam showed up on time at about 1:30pm, gave me a courtesy call letting me know they were on their way. They were very professional, upfront and accessible and clearly communicated what needed to be done and why. They performed the work in less than an hour. They disclosed the price before the work was performed. They cleaned up before they left. I am very happy with the experience and level of service received. Would recommend
