The crew was prompt, courteous, honest and professional. The work was done expeditiously, they answered all my questions and cleaned up all of the debris. All of the work areas were left cleaner then prior to start of work. They stuck to their original quote and I did not incur any unexpected cost. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone that needs plumbing work and will definitely used them again whenever we have any plumbing issues.

I received multiple quotes from a few local plumbing companies and Black Mountain's pricing was right in alignment with all others. The reason I chose Black Mountain Plumbing was based on the initial quoting process...John came out and walked me through a variety of issues I was having and thoroughly explained the possible root causes. I had a bad pressure regulator, a drippy shower head and 2 toilets that "ghost flushed" (would flush at random times and waste water). In consulting with John he quoted all 3, but recommended that we start with the dripping shower and pressure regulator, and see whether replacing the pressure regulator would fix the ghost flushing. Since my water pressure was really high, he thought that may be a reason for the ghost flushes but if not, would have to rebuild the toilets. All other plumbing companies automatically assumed a rebuild was needed. John and Daniel came out and worked quickly. They were done in about an hour. As it turned out, replacing the pressure regulator fixed the ghost flushing, which saved me hundreds of dollars in an unnecessary rebuild. I highly recommend BMP for any plumbing needs.

Called in the morning. Set up appointment for the afternoon. They called 2 hours before appointment as they were going to be early. We were not at home but said we would meet at the home 45 minutes later. They arrived right on time and did the repair quickly. The service technician was courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. We have used Black Mountain Plumbing many times and continue to be satisfied. I recommend them highly!

BMP showed up within the last 5 minutes of my 4 hour appointment window. When I tried to go over the home inspection report with the plumber he asked me if he could look at it himself and proceeded to go around the house without discussing any of the issues with me. He did not verbally communicate any of the issues or potential solutions. Instead he spent over an hour hand-writing an estimate which was illegible and contained many up-sells which I did not request (i.e. a brand new water heater). While one plumber spent one hour hand-writing the estimate, the other plumber sat around watching him. The estimate totaled almost $5000 and I was able to get all of the repairs completed by another plumber for $1200.

Arrived on time.Professional in demeanor,explained what needed an cost of what needed to be done. Did work neat,clean,pleasent. Appreciated prompt response. will be happy to recommend Larry/Adam to family and friends. Thank You Adam for tip about vinegar.

That turned out fine. They came when I wanted them to and they did what I needed. They also did some little things for me as well, that I did not expect, but the plumber pointed out to me. There was one faucet that he replaced and one that he had to un-soder. I did have to pay additional for that.

Worker was in and out in under 15 minutes. Didn't test the disposal so had to come back. He then tells me it is broken but charged me $90 to reseat it. Another $90 for the shower. He calked only what he had to. Didn't do up the sides or around the top and looked horrible. The anoly thing ge kept telling me the whole time is he would have to charge me double if he had to use a tool. I called and they refunded $90 of the $180 which was fantastic and I was happy. Its not even 6 months later and the calk in the shower is already falling apart. Looks like he didn't remove the old calk first. My opinion, Black Mountain is good for large jobs but if you have anything small find a handy man. Not happy at all with the job they did and won't use them again. I don't leave bad reviews and hate to leave this one but the whole experience really was bad the second time and I am demo died every day I get in the shower. I will be calling someone to redo what he did this week.

I have used Black Mountain Plumbing once before and I will use them again in the future.

I literally wanted to throw the guy out. He walked into my house with his friend, his assistant, and started insulting me from the moment he came came in and then he ended up charging me $200.00 and he did nothing. And then, I sent a note, an e-mail to the head of the company and they never responded to me. The guy expected me to have all the answers while he is the plumber. It was horrible. The company is unprofessional too, because the owner doesn't even respond to the complaint.

Larry and Travis were very friendly and efficient.They cleaned up nicely. Their service is more pricey but we are happy with the result.

Very professional. Heard from them the next morning after sending a message the night before. Booked and service performed within a couple of days. Called when they said they would, gave me a no obligation estimate before starting work and were right on time. Will definite use this company for any plumbing needs.

I called at around 8:45 AM, describing our problem (dripping shower in master bath). They said someone would come between 12 and 4 PM, and to expect a call before they arrive. Indeed, at around 1 PM, I got a call from Larry, saying he'd arrive within 15 minutes. At around 1:15, he rang my doorbell, and by the time I answered it, he already had a valve on our outdoor faucet, attempting to measure the water pressure, in case our regulator was blown (we had replaced it only a few years ago). Unfortunately, he couldn't get a reading because I had already shut off the water to the house. Before he had even seen the bathroom, based on the two-handle shower setup, he already had a quote for me. It seems that nearly all 2-handle showers are the same Price & Pfister model. $327 plus $18.50 trip charge. I accepted, and Larry was happy to show me where I had gone wrong in my attempts to fix the problem myself over the weekend. He quickly replaced the valve bodies, handles, and seats. If I had been parsimonious about it, I probably could have saved some money (I'm guessing $100) by only having the plastic/rubber parts (washers, o-ring, handles) replaced -- the valve bodies were in good shape, aside from the usual external buildup of crud that could have been cleaned off. But the handles and guards definitely needed replacing anyway, and since these valves are over 30 years old, I decided to let him go ahead and replace them. On his way out, after I'd turned the water back on, he verified that the water pressure was correct. Larry is a cheerful professional, and I'm happy to have done business with him.

I thought that I had a slab leak and he charged me more for looking under the leak other than the big deal purchase was, so I did end up paying more. Everything went fine. He didn’t do the deal because he thought that it was more worth than the deal. He did a good job on what he did.

I called Black Mountain Plumbing after hours because there was a major leak happening with the water heater. I am very picky about choosing service providers because I am a Personal Assistant and my clients expect top notch service. If they do a bad job, it reflects poorly on my ability to choose the right company. I have never used BMP's services in the past, but did speak to a technician on the phone about the difference between a tank-less and traditional water heater (for a client) and he was so helpful and honest; left a great impression on me! I left my information with BMP dispatch and Solomon called me within minutes! We talked on the phone about costs, etc. and he was very up front about everything. He arrived sooner than expected which was great and even brought a helper along just in case. Unfortunately the water heater was unable to be removed because of its poor placement in the garage (other items would have to be removed first that a plumber is not qualified to do), but Solomon and Kevin were able to drain what was left in the hot water heater and then re-route the cold water lines so that the house could still have running water and not worry about anymore leaks in the mean time. They also gave me recommendations for a flood/water damage company. They did all they could do and were very professional and courteous. I would use their services again and would highly recommend to anyone needing general plumbing work or a plumbing emergency.

Service call was answered by very friendly office staff. I explained my problem and told them I wouldn't be home until early afternoon. I was told they would call when they were in their way and that my time frame was "not a problem". Larry called, arrived 15 minutes later, diagnosed the problem within 3 minutes, proceeded to check my other concern and was on his way within 20 minutes paperwork and all. Larry was very professional and friendly. He explained his findings in detail and thanked me for my business. I WILL be calling Black Mtn Plumbing in the future whenever the need arises. They were great from beginning to end.

I had scheduled a dishwasher installation when they discovered a leaky valve. I immediately went and researched plumbers and choose Black Mtn. They arrived within 2 hours, had to go buy a part and were done within 4 hours. Great experience.

The shower level for the bathtub spout in our master bathroom started to break off. Called Wednesday to schedule a service and Solomon came out on Friday morning. Was able to quickly diagnose the problem and replace our bathtub spout. Also checked our water pressure before leaving. Very professional service. Thank you!

I bought a Big Deal coupon for a Whole House Plumbing Inspection and Water Heater Flush ($49.) from Black Mountain Plumbing on August 18, 2013. They were supposed to contact me or before tuesday, 8/20/13. I never heard from them, and called them several weeks after the time frame elapsed. I never talked to a live person, even when I called during the day. The message I left was pleasant and courteous I left a very detailed message with information about additional plumbing issues I was interested in hiring them do at the same time-if it could be arraigned. I also told them I had a tankless hot water heater and knew that their price for that type of heater was much higher. (This was disclosed within the big deal details.) I left my phone number several times in each message. I never heard from them. (I have an answering machine on my home phone.) I called again in December, 2013, with the same message and the same results. I reviewed plumbers, and they came VERY highly rated, but I could not give them anything other than an F for customer service and response. This is the very first time I have had a problem with a highly rate service provider.

Black Mountain plumbing responded to our call after hours and helped stop the leak. They also provided details on what needs to be done afterwards.

I saw our toilet leaking so I immediately called Black Mountain Plumbing. Since we live in Scripps, we were able to get a same-day appointment! Larry came by and started to find out the source of the leak. He noticed our tank was spraying out water. Turns out a hose was missing in the water tank. Larry thoroughly explained several options and I decided to go with the minor rebuild of our toilet's water tank. It did the trick! And Larry did a great job of cleaning the area around the toilet! Our toilet was fixed within a few hours of discovering the leak. Thank you Black Mountain Plumbing!!!

I called and had questions regarding the type of unit I should install. I talked to the owner who did not recommend a higher priced unit. Said that they would install the same unit he has in his kitchen. Workman arrived on time and did the install in 45 minutes. Good job.
