I called the main number to set up an appt and received a prompt call back, a clear assessment of cost (reasonable) and no-hassle scheduling. My plumber was Solomon Nwosu, and he was great! He was friendly and approachable, while still being a consummate professional. My main problem was the removal of a toilet seat. This might seem to be an easy fix - and if it was a standard toilet, it would have been - but we have one of those Kohler toilets where the seat bolts are internal and not accessible from underneath and with the bolts being stripped, I couldn't remove the (now cracked) seat without damaging the toilet. Solomon successfully removed the seat without damage - poor guy, there was quite a bit of careful chiseling involved. When I mentioned another minor issue on a second toilet, he took a look at that one as well. And I don't know which was faster - his assessment and diagnosis, or his repair work! Yes, there was an additional cost for this, but it was reasonable and he was very clear in explaining the pricing. The final thing I would like to compliment Solomon on is his patience. Not only with his care in doing his job, but also in his patience with a client. I'm always curious about how things work and enjoy learning new things, and he had no problem with me peering over his shoulder while he worked and providing concise and understandable answers to my questions. He said that he truly enjoyed his work, and I must say it showed. If he is a typical employee of Black Mountain Plumbing, then I recommend that they be your go-to folks for plumbing work.

They were good. They were very punctual and very courteous. They were understanding. I would rate them very highly.

I called about a sewage back up. Something was stuck in the drain. Travis and Adam arrived within 30 minutes of my phone call and were great. They knew exactly what the problem was and did their best to handle the problem without using the pump, which apparently costs a lot extra. They were respectful and professional. The sewage problem is gone and I am happy.

Travis was very polite. He fixed the toilet and I told him the reason I asked for the service was because not only was the toilet loose, but my bathroom stank! After the toilet was properly seated, the smell continued. He told me some people pour a bottle of 7-up down the drain and the carbonation sometimes clears the gunk. I bought 2 sparkling water bottles - no sugar down the drain, please - and it worked! The smell is gone. They're my go to plumbing now.

Daniel was very professional, worked quickly and fixed my problem. Everything is working well now and I will use this company again for plumbing needs.

Daniel helped me today with an inspection of my two existing toilets and, ultimately, the same day replacement of both. He was super great at showing me the various options from trying to repair or rebuild my existing equipment to replacing them completely. He was super knowledgeable, and didn't pressure me to decide one way or another. Once I decided to replace both toilets, he was able to work with his team to get it done same day - which was a HUGE help!! Daniel was great all day - very courteous and nice, with no pressure. Another technician, John, helped with securing the two toilets and helping to install one which also helped cut the time down. Both guys were super nice and even gave me some helpful tips for making sure the new toilets work well for a long time to come.

I originally only called to have the one hose bib replaced due to leaking. I kept thinking up other things to do and they fortunately had the time & parts to do it. I am so happy to cross a couple things off the honey do list. My husband will be too. ;-) Daniel and his helper were great and really professional.

I was very happy the first time I used this company, the work was very clean and satisfactory, not so the second time. We had to replace 2 handles in a leaking shower and 3 handles and a spigot in another leaking shower. The cost ended up being $788.30, which was more than we were expecting, but this is not the reason why I am writing this review. After repair, we were expecting the showers to be ready to use, but this was not the case. It turns out that the residues that had accumulated in the pipes during the repair had not been purged. As a result, our rather complicated shower head (designed for toddlers) quickly filled up with residues and the pressure dropped dramatically. The shower head system could not easily be cleaned, so we had to buy another one. We had leaking showers in the past and the companies we used always did a thorough job, but not this one. After a stellar first experience, we are disappointed by our second one. Note added after the provider provided a response: We only had debri problems with the two showers that got repaired. We have a total of five showers and we did not have any problem with the other three showers.

My experience was good. My toilet is working well after they snaked it. They did a good job. I know they broke my ceiling.

He did the job he came to do, and he did it proficiently. When i asked him about having more thigns done, he insisted that he could not do any other work aside from what the big deal project entailed. I wished that he would have been able to do more work for me, but he didn't seem to have any flexibility or say in the work that he do. Nor was he able to provide any pricing or quotes for further work. He also did not try to take any initiative to get any pricing information for me.

Went well. After Daniel arrived. I explained the situation of the backup. First step to try and snake through the shower drain, however the snake could not navigate through the turn in the abs line. Next option was to go through the vent on the roof which provided a direct path to the line and beyond. Daniel ( a strong guy) was able to lift the machine and get on the roof. The clog quickly broke loose as this being a new remodel, more than likely had construction(mortar) debree. This was the best case scenario. Good job Daniel!

We haven't used them recently, but they are exceptional. I had to say that our neighbor had a plumbing issue and we recommended them, and they just finished the job yesterday. They're hardworking and completed the job, and cleaned up afterwards.

They do really good work. They're very good at communicating the issues and the associated costs.

Solomon did a wonderful, thorough job. He is very professional and intelligent. Our tankless water heater stopped working and we had no hot water for several days. The unit needed parts, so we had to wait until they were delivered. Once delivered, we called and requested our repair to be done as soon as possible and we were accommodated. Although the repair took several hours, everything was done very well and we were definitely in good hands! When a homeowner is faced with a repair that will be pricey and time consuming, you want to be secure that the contractor will be trustworthy, knowledgeable and thorough. Solomon had all these qualities. We greatly appreciate the services of Solomon.

Just bought a townhome. Home inspector said our water pressure was too high and needed adjusting. Maybe replacing of valve? Travis at Black Mountain was honest. He confirmed we did not need any works. The home inspector was wrong. He did not sell me something I did not need. ZERO COST for visit. Honest and reliable service!

The pressure regulating valve began leaking a few days ago. I called another plumbing company first that we have used in past but they were not able to come out for a few days. I remembered I was now a Angie's List member and called highly rated Black Mtn Plumbing this AM at 8:30. They could fit me in between 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. I asked how much it might cost and the owner Scott got right back to me. I took a few iphone shots of the leak and he quoted the job. He suggested removing the old shutoff valve as well and I agreed. It required lots of turns of the handwheel to operate ( a real pain) and Scott said it was only a matter of time before that failed as well (house was built in 1987). When we moved into the house in 1998 the the old PRV had just been installed. After we discussed the photos and Scott quoted the job, he texted back that he looked at the photo's again and noticed a tee in the area. He said that whatever that meant he would include as he already quoted the job. I realized this was a tee that connected through the garage wall to a hose bib outside and would mean some more copper tube soldering. Travis showed up around 10:30 to do the job. He was very professional and did a good work. Cost was as quoted minus 10% Angie's List coupon.

It went fine. They cleaned up great and were professional and nice.

very professional, very responsive. I had a new washer and dryer delivered and the installers refused to install as they claimed the valves were corroded. They weren't, but that's how it goes with installers these days. I wanted to get a rough estimate as to what the cost would be and Black Mountain Plumbing and Scot (the owner) were very easy to work with to provide an accurate estimate. The plumber showed up on time and completed the job with no hassles. I will use Black Mountain for any future plumbing needs.

I bought the $99.00 deal but in the fine print it didn't cover particular kind of valve that I needed replaced. It was 100.00 more. It took him about 15 minutes and I could have hired a plummer or a handyman to fix it for much less. I felt like that was a lot of money to pay for such a quick and small repair. If the cost had been the price of the original deal I would have given them a much higher rating.

I had a blown hot water heater line that was plastic pipe. Black Mountain repaired the line very professionally.
