Daniel was very professional, on time, told me exactly what he was doing and answered questions I had. He explained that the seal on the front bathroom toilet was broken and he would need to take the toilet out to snake out the drain. He stated as he was putting the electrical snake down the drain that their were roots in it. Also let me know that his company could do a camera detector down the drain to see how much the roots were in the drain and would be able then to give me an estimate to get it taken care of. He also said his company Black Mountain Plumbing was a Christian backed company, which also made me feel good to know. Daniel finished up and cleaned up the mess in the bathroom. He was very respectful and also checked out the washer faucets as I was having a new washer delivered soon. Really thought that Daniel did a great job.

This is a great company that I've come to rely on for all my plumbing needs. They charge by the job, not by the hour, and have consistently provided quality work and up-front pricing. This latest job ended up being more complicated than anticipated - Home Depot sold me a new Whirlpool Dishwasher without the electrical assembly - so Daniel and Zion had to go to Home Depot to pick up parts and return to install them. They also replaced the cheap plastic parts the home builder installed in my plumbing line with metal parts that don't leak or crack, which was becoming an issue. These guys are honest and reliable and they take the time to explain what they are doing and provide recommendations.

It went very well. Solomon was prompt, courteous and did a fine job. He was recommended to me by my neighbor who was also pleased I especially was happy that he told me my shower head was not leaking, but merely draining excess water just after I shut it off When the time comes to replace that, I will call Blk Mt and Solomon.

He did not find the source. But he effectively ruled out a number of possible causes.

I e-mailed the company and received a reply that day. I received a call to set up an appointment on the day we discussed on the first call. He arrived on time. I was given the cost before he began the work. He told me what he would do before he started so I was confident that he would do what I wanted.

We called Black Mountain Plumbing in the evening when we discovered that our water heater supply line was leaking. Fortunately, they have a plumber on-call during their off-hours. The on-call plumber, Daniel, was extremely nice and helpful instructing me over the phone on how to handle the problem until he could do the repair in the morning. He showed up first thing in the morning and repaired the supply line. Overall, our experience with this company was excellent. We would definitely use them again.

I had one of their young plumbers out to fix a laundry room box leak. He did not have the knowledge, skill or ability to make the repair himself and the box still leaked. I called the company to let them know and so three days later they sent another young plumber. Same limited knowledge to fix the problem. They gave me a quote to repair the hot and cold water box for $550 and said they would have to send yet again someone else out. I called my regular master plumber who came out and fixed the problem in one hour for $266. I hadn't called him initially because he gets really busy and I thought Black Mtn would be a easy quick fix based on the reviews. Boy was I wrong to call Black Mtn plumbing!!! Never again.

First off, they were the only company that could come out the next day, I called in the evening. We lease an old office building and I have had a number of "old Pipe" issues here, so I was hesitant to replace the toilet but decided to do it myself and see how it goes. Well once I removed the old toilet I knew I need a plumber, there was no sewer line flange and the bolts had been buried into the concrete but they were no longer secure. So I called Black Mountain Plumbing (after calling others) and they could come out the next day, Solomon came out, and looked it over, no problem to attach a flange but it needed to dry overnight, but he also noticed the pressure regulating valve outside was shot and needed to be replaced. It was a possible source to leaks in 2 separate bathrooms here. He fixed up the flange and was gone in no time. On Monday Daniel came out and finished all the work, again it was a quick job for them, I also had him replace a valve inside since he was here and the water was off to the building. All in all, I am very happy with the communication, price and most importantly the job done, I will use Black Mountain Plumbing again.

Oddly enough we had two different issues that required a plumber. Neither were emergencies. After checking reviews on Angie's List and Yelp I decided to call BMP. They scheduled an appointment within two days of my call and showed up towards the end of the appointment window but not after calling earlier to give me a status update. Soloman, our technician, was very professional. He quickly replaced the faulty hot/cold valve cartridge in one of our bathroom showers and then moved on to the fireplace gas valve. We are doing some re-modeling and needed to have the valve moved 6" to the side. I had previously removed the drywall surrounding the fireplace so he could get access to the valve which was buried in some framing. After a close inspection, Soloman, out of an abundance of caution, called Scott the owner and general contractor to consult. The concern was whether the framing the valve was buried in was load bearing. Surprisingly, 10 minutes later, Scott showed up at the door. He and Soloman discussed the situation and devised a solution. It was getting late late so we all agreed to resuming the project the next Monday. Soloman returned promptly on Monday and moved the valve. Frankly, his work looks so nice it seems a shame to cover it up. They also recommended a drywall repair specialist who will be arriving in a few days. Overall it was a great experience. I thought the shower repair was a bit pricey but the valve moving was reasonable considering the time and effort and they extended me an Angie's List member discount so in the end the cost was reasonable. I'd highly recommend them to anyone requiring a plumber.

Solomon provided great service, was fast and the cost was very reasonably for emergency service. highly recommend!

The overall experience was good other than I think I paid to way to much. Hourly rate for "leak investigation" is $117/hr. 1 hour min. I pointed to the wet drywall in the downstairs ceiling, he cut a hole and yep leak. $117 for 15 minutes. But I agreed to it before he started I'm not blaming them. Would have thought I might get the remaining 45 minutes applied to fixing the problem - nope. Also, they don't publish their hourly rates for repairing the problem. They do give you an estimate total job before they start however. Next time I think I would find a plumber who gives you one hourly rate for all work and an estimate on how long it will take. I did get my 10% Angie's List discount. Thank you Angie!

We were not very happy. What we wanted him to do he couldn’t’ do. It was an outside faucet so he just checked all our faucets inside and that was it. We wanted an older faucet changed and he said he couldn’t do it for that price. All the faucet inside were fine so this was a waste of time.

He replaced a corroded connection fixture.

I highly recommend Black Mountain Plumbing, Inc. And I will call for their services again?although I really don?t want any further plumbing issues. The Black Mountain Team (BMT) were professional, provided a pre-arrival phone call to save my time, discussed each step of the process, and solved the problem. Specifically, the BMT assisted me with a more than 20-year-old bathtub facet that needed a new mixing value. Upon seeing the aged facet, David and Adam sent a photo of the facet to their home office for confirmation of type, and to determine whether a replacement was available at the home office or needed to be ordered: This real time?team approach?saved us all time. Additionally, David fixed the problem to the point of operating while the new part was on order, which was greatly appreciated. Once the part came in, BMT telephoned me. A new appointment was set. Following a pre-arrival call, and 20-minutes of work, the facet was fixed. I highly recommend Black Mountain Plumbing.

A part needed to be replaced. They called and showed up on time. The only issue was that I had with the end result of the sealing of the faucet looks messy.

This was my first experience with Black Mountain Plumbing. Daniel arrived promptly and explained all the necessary repairs to me. He even took care of another minor repair without hesitation. I was very impressed with his honesty and his high standard of service. I would not hesitate to recommend Black Mountain Plumbing.

We found a leak under our sink and contacted BMP for the first time based on the reviews on Angie's List. They were able to come out the same day, which was very surprising. We were given a window of 12-4 and were told at 4 that they were running behind and would be there at 5, which was the only negative of the experience. Due to one of the contractors having a baby, they were short staffed so it was understandable. Daniel showed up and was extremely friendly. As a female, I get nervous letting strangers into my home, but he put me right at ease and got straight to work. He quickly assessed the situation and found the reason for the leak, coming from the bottom of our garbage disposal. He gave me a quote and explained the process thoroughly. I didn't feel at all pressured and was thankful for his knowledge and willingness to explain it to me. Once he got to work he even spent time telling me about my sink and even showing me how to fix a problem if the disposal stopped working or got stuck (no one had ever done that before and it was so easy!). I truly enjoyed Daniel's company and hearing about his faith and his family. It is clear that he cares about his job and the people he helps and that it is a reflection of the care he receives by working at BMP. I've used several different plumbing companies over the years and am finally excited to find one that I'd come back to over and over again. I trust in the quality of their work and the integrity behind it and I couldn't recommend them more!

They called before they arrived and arrived at the time they said they would. The old toilet was removed and they took care in assuring there would be no water spillege. They cleaned up the old caulk and wax ring. The new toilet was installed,caulked and tested to be sure everything worked properly. We couldn't be more pleased with the Daniel handled himself,we now have a plumber we can rely on. I would highly recommend Black Mountain Plumbing.

Solomon came within an hour after I called. He ran the snake down the cleanout hole in the front yard twice, and the job was done in under an hour. Now the drain runs like new. He was polite and professional in every way. I thought the price was fair, and got my 10% angies list discount.

I wish I could remember the man's name but he was exceptional at his job. That is to say he was on time, polite, informative and obviously was able to perform his task in an effective and efficient manner. I attempted to clear the drain myself on multiple occasions but was never able to fully open the passageway. He was in my home for approximately 15 minutes and he was done. I understand clearing a drain is not the most difficult thing he did all day but it was something I was struggling with and something that is extremely important. Excellent work!

Travis and James were awesome. They helped my husband locate the leak in our sprinkler system. They ran several tests and gave an honest appraisal of what needed to be done and when to do it. They bent over backwards to help us. They could have run up a big bill but didn't. We have used Black Mountain Plumbing many times over the years and they are our go-to plumbing company.
